my master thesis is going to be about construction project management, and my tutor gave me this book in order to know the background about this industry. I found it very useful and written with an easy language (not extremely easy) but understandable through almost all the aspects.

Great overview of the industry and all the major points. I wasn't aware how much I'd been picking up and knew already about the industry until I began to read this textbook and apparently on the job training for the last few years has taught me quite a bit!

This is a great entry level textbook although I'm sure it's not in use any more as it's a few years old (2003) and has probably been superceded at this point. I managed to pick it up on Amazon used for around $5 total I think.

This is geared more towards Construction Project Managers for large job sites and construction corporations, not necessarily smaller scale contractors. There may be some value in it for them in order to better understand the overall big picture if they happen to work as subcontractors on large sites though.

I got it in good price. It is designed to give the reader important information of construction management in a very basic way. Good textbook
