Owning Oliver

Rate this book
Tim has been left for dead, but fate sent him back. While searching for his brother he stumbles across his soul mates and discovers both love and a new place to call home. He might not choose to be a fighter but he’ll do anything to keep his mates safe.

Aslic is a daywalker. Too independent to work under Alesandro, he accepts a contract with the vampire leader to oversee vampire properties and negotiate contracts. After spotting Oliver in Anthony’s company he decides to focus on the gorgeous wizard. However, when Tim claims Oliver as his own, Aslic decides to keep them both.

Oliver is an assassin brought in to kill Anthony but refuses to when he determines Anthony isn’t a threat to wizard kind. Unfortunately his boss has a different idea and when Oliver refuses to play their games he finds himself on the wrong side of a contract.

Amber Kell has made a career out of daydreaming. It has been a lifelong habit she practices diligently as shown by her complete lack of focus on anything not related to her fantasy world building.

When she told her husband what she wanted to do with her life he told her to go have fun.

During those seconds she isn't writing she remembers she has children who humor her with games of 'what if' and let her drag them to foreign lands to gather inspiration. Her youngest confided in her that he wants to write because he longs for a website and an author name—two things apparently necessary to be a proper writer.

Despite her husband's insistence she doesn't drink enough to be a true literary genius she continues to spin stories of people falling happily in love and staying that way.

She is thwarted during the day by a traffic jam of cats on the stairway and a puppy who insists on walks, but she bravely perseveres..

She also writes under the name Mikela Q. Chase

I hope this isn't the end of this series. So many questions with little answers. The switching of storylines left a lot to be desired but hopefully she can pull it together with the remaining novellas.

Ok here’s the go, I been saying I wanted a longer book and we got it here, but the story was again hijacked by Anthony and Silver. I wish the author would just give them their own second book instead of inserting their story into other couples books.

I liked Oliver but I don’t feel like I know the other two at all. I wanted more time with them and their problems getting used to their triad. Aslin has a nice power but that was all that was said about it, it wasn’t really expanded at all and what about Tim, he is portrayed here as a submissive wolf but that was not really explored.
I hope we return to the fae world soon.

Yes, I'm addicted to the Moon Pack and an Amber Kell fan-boy :-) This was an enjoyable read and now I'm back to waiting for more! There are shifters, fae, vamps, wizards and gods, what more could you ask for?

I was quite disappointed with this one... It's not a story about Oliver and his mates. Some comments said that Tim and Aslic were bland and ordinary, we might think that but no! On the contrary I think that they were quite interesting just not enough developed BUT with all the back and forth between Anthony's story and the tid-bit of Oliver's one, of course people would think that. And what about the relationship and history between Tim and Henry? What with their old pack? What about Aslic's story? This book is so frustrating! A lame book in the Moon Pack series. Furthermore, you won't even found one steamy exchange between the supposedly "main characters".

I'm sorry, but I thought this book was Owning Oliver! Not Anthony and Silver need help... again! 🤬

Don't get me wrong, I love Anthony and Silver... but it would be nice if we had actually gotten to spend time with Oliver, Tim, and Aslic... who by the way would have been MORE than capable of taking on the Council members between the three of them! Why did Anthony have to step in and steal their game? Just sayin'!

Oh well, I guess now we can go see how things are going for Peter in Pursuing Peter...

I loved this story mainly because I like it when mates get together at the beginning of the book so they can work on their issues together as a whole. The plot was mysterious and Anthony was still working on his new powers. The triad (Oliver, Tim, and Aslic) was great and the characterization was compelling as always. This was exceptionally imaginative and very entertaining. :D

Its good

I like the overally continuation she has going on in the book but there were a lot of things she could have added as well like it felt like the book that was suppossd to be showing the triads love story had more interest in Anthony as well and not as much for the detailed romance with the 3 lovers like we have come to know and love.

It has been about a year and a half since the last Moon Pack book, Needing Noel, was released, but this one was worth the wait. While some parts seemed jumpy and incomplete, overall this was an enjoyable read. When this triad forms, seemingly rather suddenly, it was interesting that Aslic, the vampire, was the one to become "alpha" of their triad. You would think that Oliver, the wizard assassin would be alpha. But the dynamic created between those two and their Wolf Tim seems to work. I hope the wait for the "P" book isn't as long.

Love it!

Once again, as always, Amber has given us a story to devour, and in this case, three men to fall for and root for. She also let's us visit with some if the men from past stories and that makes us VERY happy.
A must read for anyone who loves M/M HEA's, Love, Shifters, Vampires , Wizards and humans. A little kick-assery thrown in is always welcome.

I really love this series and am in awe of Amber (and other authors of long series) and how they keep all the characters and relationships straight from one book to the next. Looking forward to the next one up.

Rating: 3 stars. I thought this book was okay. I liked Oliver. I thought he was an interesting character. I felt that the other two Tim and Aslic were bland and ordinary. To be honest, the best parts of the book were what was going on with Anthony and Silver. That part of the story is on going and the book leaves me wanting to know what happens next. I thought this book was good, just not fantastic.

This was book 15 in the "Moon Pack" series. This is one of my favorite paranormal series. Oliver is an wizard assassin sent to spy and kill Anthony because the wizard fear his power. What Oliver doesn't know is that the demigod has become a God. Oliver meets his mate Tim a wolf shifter who is looking for his brother who turns out to be Henry the cook of the Moon Pack. Tim has been through a lot he was left for dead and woke up after being in a coma for a year he sued his old pack leader for selling him and Henry. Henry and Silver thought Henry killed Tim when they went back to get his body it was gone. Turns out they have another mate Aslic is a daywalker vampire who is also powerful. When Anthony pulls engery from Oliver when he is going through his change to become a God Oliver gets sick and he knows that he has to go help him. Tim finds his brother they also find out that Silver is pulling power from the pack and they are all down. Hera who is Anthony's grandfather's wife fixes it so Tim and Aslic can give Oliver power. This was a good read. When Anthony reveals that he knows that Oliver is an assassin sent to kill him his mates are furious and they want answers. After talking to his mates Oliver quits his job only they won't let him and the wizard's try to kidnap Tim and Aslic which was a big mistake, because the wolves and the vamp's go after them. I love reading this series. Anthony and Silver and one of my favorite couple's in this series. Anthony is under a lot of stress trying to protect Silver and Trin because someone is after him Anthony has to learn how to use his new power to protect them and the Pack. This book was very well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book. Peter the mutant wolf that Anthony helped has asked to join the Pack.

Owning Oliver

I loved the Moon pack series. Oliver,Tim and Aslic are so likeable. These three came together with little drama once they established themselves. Their feelings for each other grew stronger and stronger. I can not wait for the next book. Erin

Love these books - great novellas ~ sexy, entertaining and fun!

It appears there will eventually be A-Z and there is plenty of room for it to go even beyond that. It is very entertaining with interesting characters and unique twists in each story. They do need to be read in order - each group of MC's have their own story but there is an overlaying back story that grows throughout each book.
