Lisa A. Kramer is a lover of words, stories, and the power of all the arts to strengthen communities and bring understanding. In addition to writing, she is a theatre director and educator, and a life-long learner. She holds degrees from Smith College, and MFA in directing from the University of Hawai'i, Manoa, and a Ph.D. in Theatre for Arizona State University. She is the co-founder of heArtful Theatre Company--a company dedicated to providing creative opportunities for communities of all types to share their stories and make change.
