Following a fabulous fall, I, Summer Peters, am not looking forward to the frigid winter. In addition to the weather, I know this season is a time for many changes in my life, including moving on from the heartache of the past. The amazing news is that my interior design company is expanding, and we we’ve been hired to decorate a trendy New York City restaurant. What I don’t anticipate are the surprises I encounter along the way—some of which could threaten my future. Even though my relationship with superman-lookalike Alexander Williams seems almost perfect, I’m finding it more and more difficult to compete with his possessive personal assistant for his time. To make matters worse, I didn’t expect the return of Helena, his supermodel ex-wife who many believe is his soul mate. On the big opening night of the restaurant, I must make yet another difficult decision. I know it’s time to move in the right direction, and in order to do it, I may need to let go again.

Did I enjoy it? I enjoyed it as much as the first book, Fall Into Magic. Again, I read it every free chance I had.
Summer and Alexander are getting along and the relationship is moving forward. However, there are still a few hiccups along the way. In this book, Summer is hired to decorate the restaurant of Alexander's closest friend. The work goes well, but Summer soon finds that Alexander's friends miss his ex-wife and may be holding onto hope that they get back together.
This is another quick read that will leave you reaching for the third novella in the series.
Would I recommend it? Yes, especially if you read Fall Into Magic (which you should read before you read this installment).
Disclosure: I did some editing work on this title prior to publication. While I was compensated for the editing work, it in no way influenced my review.
And we are back with another fabulous tale of Summer and Alexander. But how can their relationship compete with his career and his overly pushy and down right mean personal assistant? And to top it all off Alexander's ex-wife pops back into the picture, how can she even fathom competing with Alexander's "soul mate"? On top of the fact that she is a successful model, talk about tall orders to meet! With Helena's return, comes the signing of her contract to have Summer renovate her apartment...sheesh...what has Summer just signed on for? Then it all seems to change in one night or does it? Grab your copy today and continue in this fun series!
So thankful that I downloaded this novella before heading to the pool because I couldn't wait to read more about Summer and what was going to happen next with her and Alexander, plus her thriving business. This story picks right up where Fall Into Magic leaves off. Grab your iced drink and continue reading the Seasons of Summer Novella series! Can't wait to read To Spring with Love next!
A really good story about starting over. Summer is unsure about herself, her career and her life in general. The characters in this story are really great. Love Mrs. Rothera, she is fun and quirky. The story line is well written and easy to read. The book is very enjoyable. Looking forward to getting the next paperback and reading it. Highly recommend to all book lovers who love a good story.
This is a romance, not comedy novella. The story line is much like the first one in the series. There’s a lot of relationship drama involving x-s, a jealous secretary, an overbearing best friend, and a psychic landlord who feeds into the turmoil. The characters are believable and relatable, but the storyline involving the x-wife is a bit of a stretch for me. There’s a few typos here and there, but otherwise well written.
Ex-wife, his best friends, office assistant, and love?
Lots of angst, but we all know that the way to true love is never smooth...but it sure makes a fun story! Some good characters and past history make things challenging. Cute series.
Frankly, I am not much for strictly romance stories, but there is no sense in making the author pay for that. The characters were believable, the plot straight forward, and the ending left on a positive note.
Clearly this is part of a series and I missed something… this story jumped around all over the place and makes no sense unless you’ve read the previous book, I’m guessing. I just wasted time I won’t get back trying to get into this story that didn’t go anywhere. Did not enjoy it.
Summer meets Alexander's best friends and ex-wife in this story. Once again, she allows too many people to impact her decision-making process and ends up upsetting herself.
there’s still so many uses of the same superhero reference - added thought commentary that doesn’t add anything to the story - the writing isn’t good and the characters are so annoying
I enjoyed this quick sweet story. Summer and Alexander are great together but they have so much to overcome with prior relationships. I liked how they communicate to be able to find their HEA.
I was getting pretty concerned as to what was happening in this book but things ended on a better note than I was expecting so that was a relief. Onward to the next book in the series.
