For My Savage, I Will Ride or Die
Armony and Killany are two females from different parts of East Coast. Armony’s repping Newark, NJ and Killany’s repping Virginia Beach, Va. Opposites attract, that's the saying, right? Well, Armony and Killany can't stand each other. They're cordial for the sake of their men, Yung and KC. The two of them have more in common than they care to share. Yung doesn't think that Killany is fit to be a part of his lifestyle because of the image that she portrays. KC wants to shield his life from Armony at all cost.
Killany was raised and breded by the boss of all bosses, her father, and mother. Armony's mother was a housewife, and her father was a henchman for the notorious Romano Crime Mob. All she knows is the street life. Hiding behind her shoe boutique is killing her. She wants to be heavy in the streets with her savage.
KC and Yung's lives are on the line at this very moment, due to some unforeseen circumstances. Killany and Armony put their differences aside, bossed up, suited up, and loaded up heavy artillery for the job ahead of them. No one saw them coming, killing everything moving and making sure no faces were left for future cases. Take a journey with these two, to see if they have what it takes to stand side by side with their savages on the gun line.

Someone’s editor is going to get an earful from me. Ugh. This next book would have been an awesome read if there weren’t so many error and just gaps in the story that had me completely confused. The book on my mind is For My Savage, I Will Ride or Die by Nikki Nicole. I think there is a book before this and if you want to read that first feel free because I’m not. This book was more than enough for me. So, let’s go.
Now when I am reading a book I am thinking that if the character’s name is at the top we are going to be insides that persons head watching the world spin right? Wrong, I felt very conflicted and honestly didn’t like that because you were being pulled from one mind to the other and I don’t know if that was done on purpose or we didn’t have enough test readers but that made the story harder to get into. But when I could get into this story, we are all in New Orleans and Killany and Yung are this slightly new couple who are still wet behind the ears, KC and Armory have been down for each other since day one. Raven and Cartier are not putting labels on anything but they are feeling one another. The book throws you into some drama as you find out that Cartier’s old flame (can you really call her that, I mean she wasn’t really riding for him) pops up in New Orleans. Now Killany and Raven are sisters and if you mess with one you mess with the whole family. It started off cordial but then it got real. Faces are bruised, fights are started and Menya then becomes irrelevant in my eyes. Now the boys wanted the girls to get along, I mean Menya wasn’t even supposed to be there but she just couldn’t keep her mouth shut. Now the wording and grammatical errors in that one scene were bad, it really started to make me mad. But after we all get back from this vacation the wording starts to become better, not great but better.
The focus then turns to Yung and Killany and this relationship was crazy to me but they were just both stubborn as all get out. Now Killany is a rider for sure and just as deadly as the men in this story (pair her with Armory and that was one scene I read twice). Yung doesn’t want to see any of that with her at first (he knew she was just as deadly but wanted a lady almost, I thought that’s not happening, do you know who you are dating here) Killany can’t take the disrespects and jets off to Atlanta to be with her sisters Raven and Kaniya. That doesn’t last too long because Yung is right behind her ready to set her straight just ugh. He wasn’t at first but all it too was one live stream and he was there with his crazy. Then we meet up with KC and Armory and are what I like to call a simple crazy because they balance each other out. I really couldn’t see any bad in them but KC has those same controlling qualities with style and Armory couldn’t say no. In the middle of all of this, the KC and Yung keep finding themselves in situations that leave the women in their lives ready to drop bodies left and right. It leads to a bigger story.
The relationships in this book were shocking to read for me because none of them sounded healthy to me, but they were all in love with these savages (really, we call them that now, what happened to just bosses, thug bosses, street bosses, but I can dig it) Armory and KC were solid and really held each other down, but sometimes KC just wanted me to wring his neck at the same time applaud him. Yung and Killany were just stubborn. The crazy thing is, is that they were both feeling each other hard just at one point didn’t know how to express it without just being rude to each other. Eventually Killany saw Yung’s point and started learning how to be his rider and Yung he didn’t learn nothing but he did love Killany’s qualities, mainly her strength with a gun. Cartier and Raven were the most interesting to read because they were the ones that didn’t want to put a label on anything. Cartier thought he was proving a point to Raven with how many women he slept with and kept on the line for her but the minute Raven had just one guy Cartier lost his freaking mind and Raven stayed there, I mean what.
What really threw me is that every woman in this story was just compliant for me. At some point, I would have just walked. I mean they barked order and they just followed, some were stubborn and fought it but then just gave up. And these women were strong this story I could see being centered around just them because of the way they each held their man down. They each had their own type of business that was legit and were just fly on their own accord. The story turns deeper in KC favor towards the end and Killany ends up in deep water.
The problems for me in this book was the grammatical errors, there were just too many to count and even though the story was good, I feel like the errors overshadowed how good this story could have been for me. Also, what in the Sammy’s uncle George happened at the airport? One minute I am on the edge of my seat waiting for it to go down in this airport, next minute we are back in Jersey and Killany is ready to leave Yung, I mean what the what. That was a huge gap and huge unanswered question that I would like to know. Other than that, the book was ok. I have read my share of thug stories and this one just didn’t excite me to the point that I want to read the next book. If I do read the next book it’s only because I want to know what happened to Killany.
If you had read the first series feel free to enlighten me on some stuff that I might have missed. I honestly don’t feel like I missed much. Tell me what you thought about this book.
Ok you read it but you know hey I want to meet you

Has potential
This book has a lot of potential and a really good storyline. The problem is that it is very confusing to read. The chapter heading says who the chapter is about and their point of view, but then it switches up to someone else talking. You read a sentence then the next sentence is someone else talking. It's very hard to keep the storyline straight. The editing also needs some work. Although I kept losing interest because of the confusion, I did finish the book and I would read part 2 to see how things turn out.

Couldn't get past the 3rd chapter
I feel like the story would be a good one if it wasn't so all over the place... I got so confused during the first three chapters that I had to quit reading.. The chapter is titled one name but has more than one character in that same chapter telling the story.. Like I said though seems like could be a good reading but I got too irritated.

Damn
So Killany and KC are cousins.... it’s a small world mane. I just knew the FEDS were coming for Yung but you fooled me. What’s with the Miller family and what they do to be on they radar?

Yes
This book is so good. It’s action from the beginning to the end. I can’t wait to see how the couples end up.
