Transformers: Lost Light #2

Rodimus and Co. find themselves in a dangerous place. Even more dangerous than on a planet that exploded from the inside. That's already pretty dangerous. But where they are now? Oh boy.

It's kind of insane how much better Transformers is in comic form than in any other medium. Maybe it's just me, but as someone who has always been drawn towards the brand; neither the films, toys or cartoons have ever really done it for me. I just really liked Megatron, and with the conflicted potential between him and Starscream I saw the kind of drama I am attracted to. (I also really liked the movie, Bumblebee).

It wasn't until starting Lost Light however that it occurred to me how good this story could be. How fun and interesting these characters could be.

Take issue 2 of Lost Light as an example. In the span of a few pages, I can feel my heart nearly gutted from its abode by merely observing an argument between Cyclonus and Tailgate. I might love Anode and Lug, but it's those two that have my heart at the moment. Great chemistry. And my love for Megatron feels a lot more safe with him being this weirdly pacifistic brute.

I'm really excited about Transformers. And it feels amazing!

Interesting Story

Good story so far. I haven't seen MTMTE be this interesting in a while. The art is very good too. Pretty enjoyable.
