How far are they willing to go to catch a traitor?
Going undercover at a club…a very specific kind of club…seems dangerous, but in a sexy way. Vincent doesn’t normally teach people about the lifestyle he enjoys, but Christian and Charlotte each have their own roles to play in the investigation. Roles that include pretending to be his submissives as they search for a traitor. By day, architect Charlotte struggles to make sense of a coded blueprint of the tunnels beneath the Boston Public Library. By night, the three lovers investigate the suspected enemy. Their tasks lead to earth-shaking discoveries. Not just about the evil surrounding them, but about themselves and their own hidden desires.

This is some serious story telling. I've been a fan of this series since it's inception. As each book grows from the one before it, I'm left wondering ... what will happen next? I was pulled into the Secret Society yet again with this juicy little number and have about a hundred questions that need answers. Cannot wait for what's next!!!! Fan for life - call me to the alter!
Loved the Hs and their mutual attraction, towards the end h shows her skills. She's too sugary sweet for me, but they were mad about her. Loved the action, and preview to the drama in next book.
Hooked! I am so mad at myself for starting this series with this book. I am rectifying this error immediately by starting with Elemental Pleasure and going straight thru re-reading Delicate Ties. I could not turn the pages fast enough to soak up the next clue in the mystery. This book has everything: hot and steamy triad sex, mystery, suspense and intrigue to keep you guessing till the last page. I could not wait to finish but didn't want it to end either.
Delicate Ties Mari Carr Lila DuBois A Dom, Architect and a Broadway star make up the Trinity in Delicate Ties. Once again, Mari Carr and Lila Dubois have knocked it out of the park. The Trinity Masters series has upped the ante by adding tasks for the Trinities to complete in order to find the Purists within the organization. I loved these characters. Charlotte was my favorite in this story. She is bright, has a problem not passing comments and definitely has issues submitting. Each member of the triad finds out more about themselves as they try to unravel who the members of the Purists are, and in the process of completing the tasks, stay alive. I couldn’t put this book down and look forward to more books in this series. I highly recommend this book.
Wow!! Mari & Lila just keep the intrigue going - Love this series.
Very happy the series has continued past the initial 3-4 planned books. The battle to unearth & expose the Purist continues.
Once again the Grand Master puts together an unexpected but extremely compatible trio. Strong heros and heroine. Insightful look/comparison of "bad" BDSM and the "good" BDSM. Loved how "submissive" Charlotte could still stand up to an push Dom Vincent in his place when needed.
Unbelievably, it's sometimes stressful to write reviews for the Trinity Masters books. They are SO GOOD, I worry about finding enough superlatives to embrace how much of a pleasure, joy, and thoroughly sexy delight it is to read each and every one of them. "Delicate Ties" is no different. My dilemma on this one was tripled because of the stakes raised in this part of the overall arc, with the future of the entire Trinity Masters hanging in the balance. The matched trio in this book have to push themselves past legitimate fears and insecurities to accomplish a task for the Masters--and that's before they can even be permanently bound to each other! The tension is multiplied when the chosen three (including a Broadway star! GAH! Talk about hitting Angel's buttons, you guys!) fall into insta-love that's not only totally believable, but very, VERY hot. (Whoa baby, is it HOT. Totally incredible Dom-and-sub sh** that had me panting...PANTING...) I won't give away all the twists and turns that ensue, in and out of the bedroom (and yeah...have I mentioned those bedroom scenes yet?), but the book is seriously un-put-down-able. I loved it so, so, SO much!!
After reading the last book I couldn't wait to get my hands on this story, and I was not disappointed. Mari and Lila have done it again.
With twists and turns aplenty the story alone would keep me reading as we are learning more and more about the truth behind the Trinity Masters in each book. But throw in the romance side of things with the beautiful dynamic that we have come to expect from this series and the story goes to a complete different level.
I really don't know how these girls keep these trinity's fresh and so individual that they each have their own flavour and this one was like a dark chocolate coated honey roasted macadamia nut, sweet and decadent that's an indulgence all on its own but leaves you craving more
I have been hooked on this series since book two. The series started out interesting with the first two books. Then was the build up in books three to four to book five. Now, there common plot - the secret society within the secret society. Each trinity is a link to solving the puzzle. In book seven, there were two new characters introduced that at first seemed like just background characters.
With Delicate Ties, the two characters, especially the one, have a much larger part. As I was reading, I was screaming to myself about the twist that the one character took.
I like the direction the last two books have taken. The Trinities are diverse. The characters are intense and the plot twists leave you blown away.
This is a series that I know I will hate to see end. I have absolutely enjoyed each book and have binge read the series several times. It always is in my top 20 of "recent" books on my Nook.
This book is not a stand alone. Simply because of the plot that started in book five and has wound its way to this book. Also, the characters from previous books make appearances that are important to the plot. I had to go back several books and re-read so I remembered key plot details.
I've enjoyed this entire series, so far. The writing is excellent. The story line is engaging. Each book has its own plot, but there is also a plot that continues from story to story. In this book, as with the others, it begins with three strangers being put together in an arranged menage marriage by an unknown leader of a group they all belong to. They come from different walks of life, to somehow merge there lives together. An actor, an architect, and a financial wizard that also happens to be a Dom in his private life. They are given a task to complete before their marriage will be finalized. I loved how they overcame many obstacles to be together, how their seemingly unrelated lives blended seamlessly together to help them complete their task, and how it seems that love can conquer anything that gets in its way. It's a beautiful, captivating story, and I can't wait for the next one!
Wow, just wow, every time I read a book in the Trinity Masters series. This one starts right into intrigue, suspense and much sexual chemistry. The trinity of Vincent, Christian and Charlotte pulls us into their story page after page. There are so many clues that they need to unravel to find the Purists that are trying to bring down this long stand society and at the same time trying to get to know each other as they begin their trinity.
I had so much fun with Charlotte, she cracked me up and you could tell Vincent was too, he just didn’t want her to know as he was trying to teach her about submission, she tried, she really tried. Oh my goodness I totally love Christian, he was much more laid back than Vincent. They totally complement each other perfectly, love how the authors create such characters that do just that. And talk about the sexy scenes, so hot.
This is another story in the Trinity Masters series. You Could read as a standalone but you will want the backstory by reading the first 7 books in the series. I love the characters and how you can always tell who is telling the story even without there being chapter headers. This is not only a hot read but the trio in this book help to expose the Purists and along the way other not so pleasant secrets in some of the members pasts. It is heartbreaking and uplifting at the same time. We see wonderful writing again and you just get sucked into this book. You get to learn more about Charlotte, the architect that gets absorbed in her work but will always take a break for her men, Christian the Broadway Star that loves to give and take orders and Vincent the Dom who finds out that he has a weakness for those he loves.
This book started as a slow burn for me. I ws enjoying it, and was okay to read it a bit at a time, and then I hit around the 1/3 mark, and I wanted to read more. Still, I could set it aside, but wanted to get back to it. That last half, yeah, there was no dragging me away, and that ending, that epilogue -gah! Next book please!
This is a mystery, and puzzle, and all the pieces are there. Three very distinct people make up this trinity, and they are strong and special all alone, but together, they are so strong. They are hot together, sexy, and the sizzle. They complement in and out of the bedroom. Their smarts build for each others, and they are amazing together!
I really enjoyed this instalment in this series. This trinity of characters is fun and engaging and intelligent. The book was a nice balance of moving the overall plot forward and telling the story of Vincent, Christian and Charlotte. Normally, I'm not a fan of 'insta-lust' but in this case it didn't bother me. Perhaps because they are all three strong, developed personalities who didn't lose themselves in the process. The inclusion of the cipher at the end was also a nice touch.
This book feels like the action picked up two-fold. Lots of intrigue and steaminess as the triad of Christian, Charlotte and Vincent are given their task and begin to learn and love each other. So many unanswered questions. Looking forward to the next book to unravel more of the mysteries.
I love this series. This book was just as heart bounding as the first one. The fun is seeing how each of the trinity will work out. This one is a rare one compared to the previous stories. The danger way to close. Can't wait for the next book.
I really like this series. It is so much fun - m/f/m menage, lots of sex, suspense, adventure, mysteries, etc. I really enjoyed the hard-core Dom getting matched with a switch and a not-very-submissive sub. Next book has Rose? And Caden - who isn’t dead? WTF. I’m in.
This Trinity is by far my favorite. I went from giggling to sighing throughout the whole book..2 words Good girl...lawd. By God we're finally have all the pieces make sense and I can't wait to read the next so onward I go lol.
Mystery, intrigue, and lots of hot sex, what's not to like? Every clue leads the leaders of the Trinity Masters closer to the truth, but cloaks it in ever deepening layers of suspense.
Delicate Ties is written with an incredible balance of passion and intrigue. Charlotte, Christian, and Vincent each bring such their own special brand of love and devotion to their triad. From the binding ceremony to marriage, there is non-stop action including the triad's kinky play using RACK. Mari Carr and Lila Dubois have unleashed another fantastic addition to the Trinity Masters series.
The more Trinity Masters books I read the more intense they become and I am loving every minute of them all!! Mari Carr and Lila Duboise know exactly how to keep you on the edge of your seat!!
Okay so seriously that was awesome! I stayed up way past my bedtime because I couldn't put it down. But it was totally worth it.
I love Vincent. Big, strong, protective Vincent learning to laugh and finding that "sex with strangers didn't possess one-tenth of the power of sex with love". He won me over when he said that he "was" straight. Charlotte is fantastic. Obviously a brilliant architect but also just amazing at seeing the layers beyond the face of a building and beyond the beautiful faces of her men. A total brat and full of life and fun. I like how Mari and Lila made her bubbly without making her come across as an air head. But honestly watching her try not to talk (and mostly failing) is hysterical. As for Christian, he is made for his Trinity. In so many ways he balances off Charlotte and Vincent, from his easy going manner, neither Vincent stern nor Charlotte bubbly, to being a switch, he is just perfect. My only disappointment was that he didn't serenade them, I really wanted him to serenade them. I think this is my favourite Trinity so far. But I love them all.
This book also presents a very unique look at BDSM. The truly ugly side with Cade and Darling and those that abused them. And the truly beautiful side as we watch Vincent (the Dom), Christian (the switch) and Charlotte (the "shitty sub") find what works for them. Vincent realizes that what he used to want from his subs isn't what he wants from he spouses. "Vincent was convinced he'd been created just for them. And they for him."
Warning #1 Do not read in a public setting as you may smile too much and look ridiculous. Warning #2 Do not read at bedtime as ..The dreams. Oh. My God. The dreams! Romantic Suspense, Erotic Romantic Suspense.... you can move those genre adjectives around in any order as they all apply. Trinity Masters is a super top secret ancient organization designed to bring together top performers in various occupations/skill sets to protect the USA. Marital partners are assigned as selected by the Grand Master of Trinity Masters. In this story, the trinity is comprised of two men and a woman: The woman, an adventurous, beautifully made, auburn haired top architect with the men - an attractive famous Broadway star and a clearly alpha, dominant, billionaire financier with the body of a linebacker and dark chocolate skin . Between the introduction and binding ceremony and before the Trinity Master wedding can be held, the three must complete two tasks designed to use their particular talents to block a threat to the organization. There is no time to breathe from the moment you begin reading. Passion. Suspense. Fear. Surprise. Anticipation. All of those emotions and more as you read this wonderfully frightening story.
As I finish this I'm already anxiously awaiting the next trinity and their contribution to protection of Trinity Masters and yes, the country.
Enjoy action, adventure, and scorching hot menage?
You've got a winner then, in this latest story in the Trinity Masters series by the fabulous Mari Carr and Lila Dubois.
Delicate Ties stars Charlotte, Christian, and Vincent. Charlotte, an accomplished architect, is thrilled to finally meet her partners in marriage. Christian is a renown Broadway actor, and Vincent a successful businessman. The three of them are eager to begin their shared life, but are first given a task to accomplish for the society by the Grand Master.
The three are thrown into a world of BDSM clubs, secret codes, labyrinthine tunnels, and armed assailants, when they've barely had a chance to learn each other's names and enjoy a kiss hello. Their task challenges them to their limits, but also allows them to witness first hand each other's strengths, support each other through the intense trial-by-fire, and help them lower any walls they might have had.
Delicate Ties is eighth in the Trinity Master series, and while most of the story is very readable without having read the others, you will want to enjoy the entire series and be able to fully appreciate the overarching story elements that tie the series together.
