Outsmart Sugar is the best book that I have read so far on the topic.
You can read it in an afternoon and quickly you will know why we must "outsmart sugar" or be the catalyst of our own demise. Tara brings some compelling evidence, some quick and proven techniques to become the master of your tastebuds and ultimately your health, all in a quirky, humorous way.
Adding the techniques to help readers was a clever addition to this book by the author as most books simply state facts, not tacts.
(Spoiler Alert!) I couldn't believe that Tara would leave that she dropped two dress sizes from following her own advice until the end!
(Prejudice Alert!) Tara Mitchell was one of our clever graduates from our NLP Training Program. Of course I am proud of her work in this book - however, do not let that stop you from buying this book - because of her NLP training, her psychological knowledge makes this the most complete book in this genre and simply excellent!
I have (had) a real sweet tooth. I read this book when it was first published. This book, and conversations with the author, Tara Mitchell, inspired me to give up sugar, and 2 years later I have not looked back. Tara offers some VERY powerful techniques to help give up this addiction and they work! I know look for the sugar content of products before I buy them. Sugar is insidious and in everything, it will surprise and scare you. Read this book.
