Three Black Mesa Wolves Holiday Stories in One Collection! Christmas Wolf Solstice Wolf New Year Wolf
CHRISTMAS WOLF This is an expanded version of a story previously published as "The Night Before Christmas." For the most enjoyment, consider reading it after Wild Wolf #4, although that is not strictly necessary in order to enjoy this holiday tale.
Omega wolf Ana Lyall knows she is essential to the Black Mesa Wolf Pack, despite being its lowest-ranking member. She knows her place, and she's content in it--until she met Mason Pearce and he opened her heart. His seductive touch roused her to possessive heights of ecstasy she'd never before felt, and he believes in her more than anyone ever has. But Mason is human and therefore forbidden. Claiming him as her mate would mean his death. Even though it shredded her heart, she walked away and didn't look back.
Mason Pearce never felt passionately about anything--until he met Ana. She stirred up his wild side and marked his heart as hers. When she inexplicably dumped him, he knew there was more to it than she was telling him. He's tried almost everything to get her back, with no luck. But then he runs into her during the holidays, and seeing her again clarifies one truth: He won't let her go again. No matter what it might cost him.
SOLSTICE WOLF Once upon a time, wolf shifter Lia Woolsey fell in love. More specifically, she met her mate and settled down with him in a small town far from the bustling big city she's always known. But she never thought she'd be the kind of woman to give up everything for a man--not even Connor, the mate of her heart, soul, and body. Five years later, she's been offered a once-in-a-lifetime career opportunity she can't turn down. Not even if it means leaving Connor behind and shattering her own heart.
Connor Lowe has everything a wolf shifter could want. His place in the Black Mesa Wolf Pack is secure, his deeply committed work as a doctor running a low-income medical clinic fills his days, and his mate, Lia, lights up his entire life. He's the world's happiest wolf--but his mate isn't. And he loves her too much to stop her from leaving to follow her own bliss, even though he knows his days will darken into nothingness each moment she is away from him.
As the frozen longest night of the year approaches, Connor and Lia face an impossible choice...the kind only winter solstice magic might be able to fix before it's too late.
NEW YEAR WOLF With devoted mate Rielle at his side, disgraced wolf shifter Caleb Bardou is slowly piecing back together his recently shattered life. He's a fighter at heart--but when he was justifiably stripped of his Pack Guardian status, it about knocked him out cold. Throwing his energy into a successful new business training other shifters to circuit fight with Rielle cheering him on all the way, Caleb has found a new path in life.
Then his arch nemesis unexpectedly threatens to take the shine off their bright new year. Caleb's answering jab will determine the course of the rest of his life...if only he can overcome a burning anger at his old enemy.
*author's note: New Year Wolf features Caleb & Rielle, the characters from Hunting Wolf (Black Mesa Wolves #3). It is best read after Wild Wolf (Black Mesa Wolves #4), although that is not strictly necessary in order to enjoy this holiday tale.

Solstice Wolf Lia is leaving Durango for her dream job, unfortunately for Connor that job is across the country.
He knows he has to let her go or he will lose her forever, but this is so very hard and he is going to make this time fun.
Instead of being able to spend Solstice enjoying the festivities with her pack her new boss calls her to start earlier than agreed.
She discovers some very interesting information in all the files they gave her to go through. At the same time Connor makes a discovery of his own.
A fun read with romance, sizzle and thinking outside the box.
Christmas Wolf Ana knows she has to break it off with Mason. He is human and she is wolf, they can't be mates even though that's what her wolf is telling her.
Mason is sure of one thing Ana is his and he will settle this tonight.
Only that one last night turns into something so much more. Now her Alpha merely requests the two of them at his home for his decision on Christmas morning.
Lots of heat between these two and big surprises in this short tale.
New Year Wolf Caleb has made many mistakes, the biggest of which had him removed from being a Guardian of the Black Mesa Wolves. That ruling came down from the Alpha, his father. Now it seems Caleb has found something that helped to not only rein in his temper and impulsiveness, but also gives back. He is competing and training young wolves to fight in the somewhat controlled atmosphere of sanctioned Cage Fighting.
His mate Rielle, is steadfast in her devotion to her mate. She's been beside him the whole way and is more than just a little proud of him.
As Caleb and his trainee Bran celebrate their wins that have them heading to regional championships, Luke Rawlins a reformed rogue wolf approaches Rielle.
Luke's reasoning is much more than just to find out Caleb's reaction.
Plenty of surprises and lots of sizzle between Caleb and Rielle.
I have to go back now and re-read this series, I'd forgotten how much I like this pack.
I like the writing and dialogue but want more detail. I feel like I read only half the story. So many questions unanswered. I wanted to get to know these couples but it just fell a bit short. Book one: Her wolf keeps saying " Not not wolf". How and why does he become a wolf because of the mating frenzy? Just when you think the answers are coming from her Alpha and his grandfather the Alpha tells them to go do a run, end of story. Book two: What does sure find out that sends her running back home. Where was the mating connection? If they are true mates you would think parting would have been harder. What does he diagnose in the child that sends it to the hospital. He had to stay for his patients but I didn't feel the connection to them. Book three: What happened to have his position as pack Guardian revoked. What part did Luke play in it. If Luke's sub-pack is part of the main one he already belongs to why such a big deal in becoming a Guardian for Luke.
As these are all short stories that all happened around Christmas time, i would like to try a full story by this author to see if they would be better.
One big decision split Ana and Mason up, but the magic of Christmas, and an intelligent Alpha, has a way of fixing things. Ana and Mason had great chemistry and a passionate romance. I figured did what the surprise twist to their romance would be and found myself smiling when the air was finally cleared.
Solstice Wolf
Connor and Lia are consumed by their careers and want what’s best for the other, even if it means living across the country from the other. This romance was completely relatable! Even though Lia and Connor were a couple with no kids, it’s easy to get caught up in the daily grind and he climb to the top, while unintentionally letting personal relationships fall to the wayside. The romance started out tinged with despair, as Lia prepared to move, but morphed into a sexy reconnection with tender moments.
New Year Wolf
I assume I need to read a story before this one to fully grasp the dynamics of Caleb, Rielle, Luke and Alpha, because this felt more like a bonus story rather than a complete short story. However, based on what I learned in five chapters, the time Caleb took to mature a bit and his decision to Luke’s request was a good thing.
J.K. Harper has a winner with this one !!! I love this bundle and series !! The one I will be reviewing here is Mason and Ana's story in Christmas Wolf . Ana feels the need to protect Mason so she walks away from their relationship knowing it is for the best . During a night of enjoying the Christmas lights sounds and scents she enters a store and finds Mason there . From here the story just seems to take off running and keeps you so engrossed that you will not want to even take a break reading !! Now these are short stories so the entire book does not take long to read but is oh so worth it !! The other stories include Solstice Wolf and New Year Wolf . Each of these are so well written that this will become of your favorites like it is now mine !! I strongly RECOMMEND to everyone !!
I loved this book when I read it as part of the Black Mesa Wolves Box Set. Black Mesa Wolves Box Set by J. K. Harper is a set of nine different books of the series all put together into the perfect reading order in one group. The nine books included in this set are: Guardian Wolf, Alpha Wolf, Hunting Wolf, Wild Wolf, Solstice Wolf, Christmas Wolf, New Year Wolf, Protector Wolf, and Fire Wolf. Every one of the books in this set was a wonderful read. Each individual book features a different couple who were forever mate and all of the stories are tied together as members of the Black Mesa Wolf Pack. I think anyone who loves reading about shifters or paranormal romance will love this box set where everyone eventually gets their happy ever after ending.
Three - very short! - stories about different personalities of the Black Mesa Wolf Pack. The characters were very likeable, although a bit unrealistic at times - maybe I haven't learnt to think like a wolf yet, huh? :-) What I was missing was a "proper" plot, these stories seemed to be describing a certain period in the lives of three pairs, and how they overcame their problems around Christmastime. Quite entertaining, but not enough for me to be a "book". Still, as shorter stories go, they were quite entertaining and kept me busy reading for about one-two hours.
Each one of these stories brought a little different aspect of pack members to light. Some stories that you wanted to know more about and these little snippets helped with the understanding. Still a little confused as to how Mason works, but it fits into the story.
You will truly enjoy the laughs and the tears that you will find in all the stories. They will each bring something into your heart.
These were short but worth reading. Nice grouping as they meshed together perfectly. If you like shifter romance stories this set of novellas will hit the spot. The characters are likeable, the scenery not overdone but enough that you can picture the beauty, and each scenario is well crafted. Recommend!
When I started reading this I thought it was all one book so I was slightly disappointed when the first book ended. However ł was pleasantly appeased when several new volumes just kept appearing as one ended. The books were all interesting and you should enjoy them.
Christmas Wolf by J.K. Harper is actually three stories in one book. Ms. Harper has delivered three holiday stories focused on the Black Mesa Wolves. These stories are fairly quick paranormal shifter reads. I enjoyed this three pack of books and look forward to reading more from J.K. Harper in the future. These are complete stories, not cliff-hangers.
I enjoyed reading the 3 stories included in this book! Each story was about different sharpshooter within the Black Mess Wolves Pack! I believe everyone who reads this book will Not be disappointed! This is a book that I will recommend to others! I look forward to reading the other books connected to this series!
This was a great set of books. There are 3 stories to read here and each one unique in their own way. I like the first story best. They story Of Mason and Ana was great. She thought he was human and so did he but sometimes you just never know what fate has planned you.
Christmas Wolf: Holiday Bundle (Black Mesa Wolves Book 5) by J.K. Harper ... this book has three stories: CHRISTMAS WOLF...Mason and Anna SOLSTICE WOLF...Lia and Connor NEW YEAR WOLF... Caleb and Rielle (Ree) This book is part of THE BLACK MESA WOLVES series. I enjoyed all three stories.
3 1/2 Star rating(I round up ). While I enjoyed the stories I was left feeling that the short stories were incomplete. I might have liked them more if I had read the series. It's on my list now so I will see...
Christmas Wolf: Holiday Bundle (Black Mesa Wolves Book 5)
Three great Christmas story from the Black Mesa Wolf Pack. The first is the love story of Ana and Mason, the second of Connor and Lia, and the third Rielle and Caleb. A fun Holiday read.
Harper's style of writing wasn't bad. Few proofreading glitches, cover was good, and each story had a happy ending. They just bordered on believable. Just seemed to have a whole lot of words to say so little.
A variety of themes all centering around the Black Mesa Wolves, this collection is insightful, sexy and easily read. I will be reading more about this pack.
Christmas is a time of magic, and it was certainly a great day for Mason and Ana in Christmas Wolf. Solstice Wolf was amazing with the two mates realizing where home was, and Rielle and Caleb again in New Year Wolf...great fast reads.
I enjoyed reading this box 📦set, it has great storylines. They are entertaining and action packed, the interaction and chemistry between the characters is wonderful. I can't wait for more from this author. I received this box 📦set,as a FREE copy to read and I voluntarily leave this review.
short stories about mats and wolves, love gained, lost and second chances, the only one that was a little boring was the 3rd one, it had fighters in it, and i dont really do sports , but other then that fun easy reads on a cold winter day
This book has a couple different short stories in it. They were great for a quick read. Steamy love stories. I like that its a collection of holiday stories because the season is all warm and cozy.
