Lover's Dance #3

Wicked Dance

Rate this book
If there’s one thing that chases you and never lets you go, it’s fame.

Despite being a painfully shy and sheltered ballet student, three months ago I charged onto one of the most popular TV reality shows in the world and changed the course of five lives.

Mine, when I accepted the star of the show, Blitz Craven, as my lover and dance partner.

Blitz’s, just as he was about to walk away from his hard-won career.

And three girls who were the finalists on the show.

Those girls are back to get their vengeance, and as usual, the producers of the show are in it for the ratings.

So now I have a choice: let each of them have another shot at my lover.

Or take them on myself.

But Blitz is mine.

Game on.

Wicked Dance is book three of the Lovers Dance series, which ends with book five, Final Dance. Each book is full length and stands alone, but should be read in series order to avoid spoilers.

CAPTIVATING !!!
Title: The Wicked (Originally titled Wicked Dance)
Series: Lovers Dance
Author: Deanna Roy writing as J.J. Knight
Designation: Book 3 of 4 Book Series, Short Novel(200 pages), Probably Could Be Read As A Standalone But Not Recommended, HFN Ending
Reading Platform: Kindle Edition
My Rating: FIVE CAPTIVATING STARS*****
**This book was originally published as Wicked Dance by Deanna Roy, the third release in a four-book series entitled Lovers Dance. It has since been re-released as The Wicked, the third of four books in the newly re-titled Blitzed Series. There have been no changes to the content. Although this book could probably be read as a standalone with a happy-for-now ending, I highly recommend reading the entire series since all four books chronicle the relationship journey of beautiful newbie ballerina Livia Mason and handsome, charismatic reality television dance star Blitz Craven aka Benjamin Castillo.

Oh my, oh my, oh my! I LOVE this book! I adore contemporary romance and completely infatuated with stories featuring dance, but combine the two and I'm in heaven, and Deanna Roy/J.J. Knight just delivered the perfect combination of both! I became a Deanna Roy fan several years ago after first reading her heartwarming Forever Series and became even more entranced with her work after discovering her alter-egos, JJ Knight and Annie Winters. As JJ Knight/Deanna Roy, she pens spicy and emotionally gripping Contemporary New Adult Romance and as Annie Winters, she writes riveting and sexy Contemporary Romantic Suspense. I developed a complete addiction to her Vigilante Series co-written with Tony West under her Annie Winters pen name. I love Knight's comfortable, easy-to-follow style and sweet, sultry prose. There's nothing better than curling up in my favorite chair with a glass of wine and brand new book by J.J. Knight/Deanna Roy! And no one writes what I like to call 'Dance Romance' like Deanna Roy. I discovered this firsthand after reading The Billionaire, a delightful standalone Contemporary Billionaire Friends to Lovers romance originally released as The Billionaire's Ballet and later retitled again as Dreamcatcher's Dance, which is actually the prequel to this series where we meet several of the characters in this book. But don't fret, as I said, it's also a standalone and can be read later.

But as usual I digress, so let's talk about this book. The Wicked is a captivating, fast-paced, and exceptionally well-crafted and edited contemporary romance that can be read as a standalone. It does NOT end with a cliffhanger per se but has what I like to call a happy-for-now ending. However, there will be one more book in Blitz and Livia's story, and you better believe I've already ordered my copy. The narrative is beautifully written in the first person with a single perspective from the female protagonist, Livia Mason. The dialogue is smart, well-executed, easy to follow and flows effortlessly. I loved the premise and world Roy developed for this story and they were all extraordinary but it's the cast of realistic, relatable, engaging and very endearing characters who completely steal the show along with my heart. I was immediately drawn into this story by the sweet, innocent and very naive Livia Mason, and I nearly swooned for our hero, handsome professional celebrity dancer Blitz Craven aka Benjamin Castillo. These two characters could not have been more different, yet they were perfect for each other. Their attraction was immediate, their interaction electric, their passion undeniable, and their chemistry was so hot it sizzled! *sigh* It's just so dreamy! Knight skillfully combines every one of these elements to craft a heartwarming story filled to the brim with heartbreaking drama, agonizing angst, sweet romance, and steamy sex. This is not erotic romance but it is sensual and somewhat explicit but in a very loving and caring way.

Premise for The Stranger, Book One of the series (formerly Forbidden Dance):
Nineteen-year-old Livia Mason loves two things in life. The first is dance which she started only two years ago, and the second is a secret, one so dark only her parents know, or at least they know part of it. But even they don't know everything and if they did, they'd never allow her to continue her ballet lessons at Dreamcatcher's Dance Academy. It's the reason Livia lost everything, and the reason her father felt compelled to leave his job, uproot his family and relocate them four years ago, moving away from everyone they knew... and it was all her fault. She was no longer allowed to have any friends nor any kind of social life. Her parents would not even allow her to attend public school. She had to settle for finishing her education through homeschooling, but hopefully this year she would be able to take her SAT. She wasn't even allowed to have a phone and all her actions were monitored closely by her very strict parents. But despite the shadow of her past mistake, her life was finally beginning to fall into place... until he showed up at the Dreamcatcher's Dance Academy... Benjamin Castillo aka Blitz Craven, playboy, man-whore extraordinaire, and star of his very own reality TV dance show Dance Blitz. He's only at Dreamcatcher's to garner some good publicity, repair his damaged reputation, get his career back on track and reclaim his show. But with one kiss and one simple dance, everything has changed. He says he wants her, but does he really care for her? He claims he wants her to be with him, but does he love her? Why would a handsome celebrity like Blitz with a reputation for being quite a Don Juan with the ladies want someone like her, a sheltered naive nineteen-year-old woman with no worldly experience, who is slowly being suffocated by her restrictive overbearing parents? A man like Blitz Craven could have any woman he desired, and has, so is this just another ploy to add her name to his long list of conquests and public indiscretions? Can Livia afford to trust Blitz with her heart? But more importantly, can she trust him with her secret? We'll see! Oh my! This one will definitely tug at your heartstrings!

The Enemy (Book 2):
Our story for The Enemy resumes shortly after Livia's dramatic rescue of Blitz on the live season finale of Dance Blitz. Livia sacrificed much to save Blitz from himself, but it appears the lovestruck couple may have weathered the storm and will finally get their happy ending... until Livia's past comes back to haunt her. A ghost from Livia's former life makes an unexpected and very unwelcome appearance, wreaking havoc and revealing long-buried secrets and sadly, it may cost her everything, including her happy new life and the people she loves most. Will Blitz stand by Livia once he knows her darkest secret? We'll see! Oh my! Better get a box of tissues, folks; this one is a real tearjerker as Knight finally reveals Livia's darkest secret.

The Wicked(Book 3):
Dancing at Dreamcatcher's and teaching the wheelchair ballerinas has been a dream come true for Livia Mason, especially now that she has the handsome Benjamin Castello aka Blitz Craven by her side. But just when Blitz and Livia think they have a chance at a normal life, the mean girls descend on the happy couple, determined to exact their revenge for not being chosen in the season finale, and they want payback against BLitz and Livia. They're demanding a dance-off rematch but is sweet, newbie ballerina Livia up to the challenge. Will she fight for her man? We'll see!

Did I like this book? No, I loved it! Would I recommend it? You bet and I am but only for adult readers. Will I read this author again? Absolutely! I've already ordered the remaining books in this series. And finally, was I entertained? Completely! I snickered, snorted, snuffled, sniffed and sobbed throughout the entire book but by the end, I was happy, satisfied and well entertained! Fabulous entertainment and an awesome read!

Rating: 4.5/5 Penguins
Quick Reasons: Livia and Blitz 5ever!; love the change of scenery and the introduction of some pretty feisty side characters; Ted and Blitz are such awesome friends, I love them; yet another glimpse into the lives of these endearing, sweet characters; I swear, this love never gets old or stale

HUGE thanks to Deanna Roy and Casey Shay Press for sending me a free digital galley of this title in exchange for an honest review! This in no way altered my read of or opinions on this book.

Blitz reaches for my hand and kisses my fingers again.

"It's becoming a habit," I say.

"Because you're delectable."

It's such a Blitz thing to say, on his show, not to me normally, that I can't help it, but burst out laughing.

"What?" Blitz says.

"It's me now!" I say. "Or is there a real me and a show me?"

Blitz nods, his expression thoughtful. "You're right. I was acting. I've been acting, on this show, with all those girls. But I don't have to be that way with you."

Penguins, it's yet another day in my world and THIS BOOK! My gosh, this book--no, no. This SERIES. This series is, at current, a rapidly growing obsession bordering on dangerous for this reader's heart. Livia and Blitz FOR LIFE, okay?! I swear, these two make true love for me. It's obvious, from their interactions with each other compared to that with those around them, that the world revolves purely around their love, and I wouldn't have it any other way because they're adorable and endearing and my favorites ever.

And this journey, once more, proves that these characters were meant for one another. I really adored how much we see Livia stepping up and taking things into her own hands. I SUPER loved how much Blitz dotes on her, and how obvious it is that his world lies in her palms. There's just so much to be said for this pairing--and the fact that Deanna Roy can make them so realistic without actively setting out to sabotage them or their romance is beyond appreciated in my world. Because yeah, things happen in real life--couples break up all the time. But sometimes... SOMETIMES, it's nice to see a couple who is actually, actively making a relationship work despite the hurdles. I love that so far, Deanna Roy has achieved this brilliantly.

Blitz belongs to me, and I to him. His body is mine. His ardor. His love. His sex. This is healthy and part of who we are.

I am not my father's daughter.

I am my lover's love.

Of course, that's not to say that there isn't drama in this book. PENGUINS, is there drama--and a ton of it! I was at turns entertained, frustrated, and downright livid throughout the journey...though mostly entertained, because let's be honest, Blitz knows what to do with his mouth (and I don't mean the kind in the sheets, get your mind outta the gutters! I meant SASS and SNARK and all things witty delicious banter. sheesh.) Livia holds her own quite well, too; it was nice to step outside the "normal" scenery and see them in a different situation, playing different roles. The rest of the characters introduced throughout brought their own flare and drama to the forefront, and I had a blast getting to know (and, at times, loathing entirely) the new personalities.

Overall, this was SUCH a great third book for this series, and I am on the edge of my seat, pins-and-needles excited, to see what the next installment brings these adorable cuties. The characters are vibrant and well-rounded, the plot is filled with drama and sass, and I just cannot get over how much Livia has grown in such a short span of time. I definitely recommend this to lovers of contemporary romances, dancer dramas, and a battle for the heart. Step onto the stage and take your marks, penguins; the camera's rolling with this read!

his third book in the series about Blitz and Livia did not disappoint! Blitz and Livia are enjoying quiet time together in San Antonio with dance practice and teaching their class for ballerinas in wheelchairs. Everything is perfect until he gets into a nightmare negotiation with the producers of his show, Dance Blitz, Unless Blitz (and Livia) agree to film the final episodes, they are up against a huge lawsuit.

I felt so bad for Livia in this novel because she simply wants to be with her man, take dance classes, and volunteer at Dreamcatcher Academy. But instead, she’s forced to deal with the three original finalists of Blitz’s show, as well as, all of the producers and attorneys that are out for blood. Blitz was sweet and romantic once again in Wicked Dance, but the reader gets a different glimpse of Blitz – the side that truly enjoys some of the moments in the spotlight with cheering crowds and cameras flashing. Granted there were some moments where Livia was excited about all of the adoring fans, but for the most part, she wasn’t.

As a closet reality tv junkie, I really enjoyed this story with all of its industry secrets and behind the scenes look at producing a reality tv show. Wicked Dance is just that – wicked – full of tons of backstabbing and selfish characters, which made this quite an exciting read. Most importantly, however, was that Blitz and Livia continued to demonstrate love and commitment, while also keeping things sexy and spicy behind closed doors.

I love Deanna Roy’s writing with its amazing characterization and imagery. She makes the good guys good and the bad guys very bad. But while reading this novel it feels much more like watching a tv show or movie instead of reading a book. She pulls the reader in forcing complete investment in her writing until the very last line, all while celebrating the beauty of dance itself. If you have not yet started this series it’s time to catch up. I continue to be impressed with Deanna Roy, her characters, and the page-turning novels in this series.

*Thanks to the author for providing this ARC in exchange for an honest review!

Blitz and Livia are beautiful together. Yet, fighting to blend into the background, and not do anymore dance shows, proves difficult. Will Livia's moment to shine be sabotaged? Can Blitz finish his contract, romance Livia, represent himself in a positive light and do it all on television? Although there's no cliffhanger, I definitely recommend reading books one and two first. Deanna Roy's descriptive writing makes this a fantastic read!

Just when the chaos of her ex-boyfriend's return seemed to be calming down, Hollywood once again came calling to interfere in the happiness Livia and Blitz have found with each other. Living and loving together, while giving private dance lessons to her birth daughter, has become a happy way of life for the two of them and it's sad to see them being manipulated by those more concerned with money and fame than their HEA. As they head west to finish their commitments their relationship will be put to the test, as will her own self-esteem and trust in the former partying playboy who's clearly fallen for her, in this well-paced romance.

With a legal threat that could make him pay out millions, Blitz is left no choice but to return to the stage where he'll once again encounter the catty and angry women he spurned for Livia at the previous finale. He won't be alone though as she'll be dancing right alongside him in a contest voted on by tv viewers. THEY KNOW they love each other and are committed, but will the public see them as the perfect couple too? It's a question that hangs over every word and through every dance move as their love affair continues to play out on national television. With others trying to manipulate both of them in the name of ratings though, discomfort will arise and trust will be questioned as nothing is as it appears when it comes to reality television. All the worst aspects of the genre are on display here as Giselle pours on the melodramatic act in a catty attempt to gain popularity, while the editors cut and splice scenes to leave every act in doubt. Every sweet and sincere moment of affection Blitz shows Livia felt tainted by their being on the show which had me hoping for a quick journey to the show's finale. Throughout the journey Ms. Roy gave a vivid depiction of what goes on behind the scenes, the chaos and the manufactured glamour, the very UN-real qualities of the participants themselves. Through it all Blitz reminds readers of who holds his heart. With patience and encouragement he helps Livia cope with a world she's never experienced before and was her support when her self-esteem gets rattled. Livia really came into her own in this installment. I was a bit frustrated by her actions in the previous book as she was a bit wishy-washy, but here she's far more composed. She thinks things through before acting on impulse which is good as those around her try to manipulate her and Blitz's connection. She goes outside her comfort zone, pushing her father's condemnations aside, to be a more accomplished dancer and to prove to herself that Blitz is her perfect partner in a competition full of over-the-top antics and sensual dances.

From start to finish this was another satisfying addition to the Lovers Dance series. It's Blitz and Livia against the world as they dance one more time to reaffirm their love and commitment to each other with the country watching on. The bright lights and glamour of Hollywood may offer a temptation but it's clear that the only thing tempting them is each other as seen through their numerous frantic and steamy encounters. The world of reality television takes center stage here and is shown warts and all, as are the other three desperate women vying for fame and fortune. They're an unlikable and stereotypical bunch whose melodramatic and catty actions wore a bit thin, but they ultimately all got what they deserved. There were some bright spots in this world, some supportive people who helped keep Livia sane and focused on the truth instead of the contrived drama, and I enjoyed those few friends she found when her innocence led to disillusion. I look forward to where Blitz and Livia go from her as their love for each other grows even stronger. With two more books in this series I'm sure Ms. Roy plans on putting them through the wringer a few more times, but I'll gladly be there every step of the way as we creep closer to their final bow!

Wicked Dance is a deliciously surprising and delightfully entertaining twist of events that shows me just how much love can change us if we let it. Nothing it more terrifying then giving your heart to another person. There is no hope of anything being returned, but when we are lucky enough to have your love returned, it sets your world on fire. Together you can conquer anything. Nothing can tear you apart, and anyone who tries will be sorely disappointed. What an stunning high!

We find ourselves falling even farther down the rabbit hole of their wonderfully forbidden relationship to find that LA isn’t quite done with Blitz. Just when these two were beginning to enjoy some peace and getting to really know each other, they are swallowed back up into the glitz and glam that they thought was far behind them. Never get to comfortable with change because I have found that nothing beyond our love is guaranteed. Everything is up for grabs especially when you have those who salivate and long for the spotlight. Not knowing how things will change for them, Blitz and Livia are preparing for the worst while holding each other close. Can Blitz stay true to his heart as he climbs back into his old life, or will he show everyone that he is a completely different person since meeting Livia? Will Livia running screaming from the fierce competition and evil backstabbing, or will she find some inner strength that she never knew she had?

If I thought I loved Blitz before, then I can say with certainty that he is surprisingly unbelievable! How he handles all of the hurdles and struggles along the way shocked me to no end. There was no middle ground for him, and I can’t tell you how much I LOVED seeing that in a hero. It melted my heart so often. On the other hand, I was amazed at how Livia rose to the challenges put before her. She answered with more grace and poise then I would have anticipated, and she made my heart soar so high that it hurt. Their love is one that could move mountains if given the chance!

Lovers Dance is a beautifully chaotic and endearingly soulful series that has stolen my heart and makes me long to be able to find a wonderful release in the art of dancing. Since balance and grace are not anywhere close to my strengths, I can at least delve into the hypnotically comforting words of Deanna Roy. She has a remarkable talent of creating stories that melt even the coldest of hearts, transforming the roughest part of our soul into something exquisite and worthy of showing others, and endearing her breathtaking soul to those who step into her world of enchanting reality and raw fantasy. I seriously believe that she can do anything when she puts her whole heart into it. She is spectacularly incredible!

Wicked Dance is another fun entry in Deanna Roy's Lovers Dance series. It would work as a stand-alone romance, but these books will be more enjoyable if you read the series in order.

After all of the drama in Wounded Dance (Lovers Dance Book 2), it was nice to have a lighter read that returned to more emphasis on Blitz and Livia's romance and the joy of dancing. This book did offer some drama as Blitz and Livia get drawn back into Blitz's reality TV show, and it was fun to see how they coped with that. Livia in particular got a chance to really learn and grow in this book. However, this wasn't nearly as dramatic as I expected it to be--everything works out a bit too easily (the only reason I am giving this 4 instead of 5 stars). That could be a positive or a negative, depending on your point of view. It is a fun read, but it is lighter than the previous books, and I suspect the next book, Tender Dance , will return to more drama. Consider this your literary palate cleanser!

This is a well-written story with several surprises. There were no problems with editing or formatting. No violence, but there are explicit sex scenes and some profanity (I didn't feel this was overdone). Most of the characters are people I'd like to know, and the romance is very sweet. I loved meeting Blitz's assistant, Shelly! I definitely recommend this series for fans of contemporary romance.

I volunteered to review an advanced reader copy of this book.

The writing is excellent, characters mostly developed (I still feel like I don't really know Blitz), and the plot moves at a steady pace.

Although I feel sympathy for the characters, I don't really relate to them. Their circumstances couldn't be further from my reality. Speaking of reality, I think my favorite part of this book was seeing behind the scenes at a reality show. It seemed genuine to me and I enjoyed learning a bit about what goes into a show like that. I watched a singing competition for a few seasons before getting sick of the manufactured tension. Just tell us who's eliminated and who's moving on already! We don't need more suspense.

I had a pervading feeling of “something bad is going to happen” throughout most of the book. At one point, Giselle baited Livia who said something in an outburst that she immediately regretted. The problem is, it seemed out of character, not only for her to lose her temper and allow her mouth to take over, but also to say the kind of thing she did. I had trouble reconciling that Livia with the one I had come to know.

I think I would have liked to see things from Blitz’s POV too. As I mentioned earlier, I feel like I still don't really know him. I want to know more about his family, his history, and his feelings for Livia. Perhaps some of my questions will be answered in the next installment.

Wicked Dance, the third book in this series, continues the story of Blitz and Livia with more attention on dance and celebrity status than on their background and history. Livia still carries with her the hurts of the past, and continually worries about the effect her decisions will have on her family. Preparation for the finale of the show sheds a completely different light on what happens behind the scenes of a reality show, depicting just how strong a person needs to be to go through with the whole process. While Livia's love for Blitz is sure, she is uncertain about how he will react to the other competitors when the gloves are off. It would seem that the viewing public demand a certain amount of drama and back stabbing, but fortunately when the final vote comes in, they choose the contestant everyone has been rooting for. I personally do not enjoy sagas that carry from book to next, preferring to be done and dusted when I close the covers of a book. However, the romance between Blitz and Livia is charming and I found myself cheering them on. I received a copy of this book as a gift and this is my honest and voluntary review.

Wicked Dance is the third of five books about the lives and romance of Blitz and Livia. This portion of their story is about the consequences of Livia storming the stage at the finale of Blitz's realty tv show and what happens next. Blitz has to finish out his contract and Livia is now one of the finalists on his show. What happens when reality tv gets in the way of their relationship? Will they be able to over come the obstacles life throws at Blitz and Livia?

Wicked Dance is a fun, sweet, yet drama filled story about reality tv and relationships. I loved how Blitz and Livia were so devoted to each other and their relationship. I love watching Livia grow and live life how she wants to and with whom. I liked how this book wasn't overly angsty. I liked the book, but didn't love it. In real life, I'm not a fan of reality television, so the whole focus on it in this story was a little tedious to me. I can't wait to read the fourth book and find out what happens next in Livia and Blitz's lives.

This continues the sage of Livia and Blitz and although more light-hearted (sort of!) than the previous two in this series, this by no means leaves us wanting! Deanna Roy has thrown us, and Livia and Blitz, back in the spotlight with Blitz being placed once again in reality tv's grips and decisions being made that both Blitz and Livia have very little control over. Livia seems to be growing as a character and the challenges she faces physically and emotionally during this 'battle' for Blitz's love. Blitz himself is confident and knows his love for Livia can't be broken despite the scheming and antics of other characters in the story.

This story is about charm, passion and love and follows these two as they again face bumps in the road on the way to what I hope will be a HEA!

This can be read as standalone but I wouldn't recommend it as you will miss out on all hats gone before! Deanna Roy transports us into a world of reality tv, dance and love that will keep you wanting more.....

This third book in the Lovers Dance series could be read as a standalone but I think in order to fully appreciate the story, the books should be read in order.

Wicked Dance picks up right where Wounded Dance left off. Livia and Blitz are off to LA to film the last five episodes of Dance Blitz along with the three contestants who were left behind when Livia stormed the stage at the final taping. This book was definitely light on the angst that was prevalent in book two. There's definitely a lot of drama but since the focus of this book is a reality TV show with the divas playing their parts, drama was to be expected.

I loved how this story highlighted how scripted reality TV really is. I felt like I got to know Livia so much more in this story while she was struggling with the spotlight, the cameras, and whether or not the things her father always told her were true. Book three really saw Livia coming in to her own and I can't wait to see what book four has in store for her and Blitz.

You would think, given the number of books that I have read for this blog, that I would know by now that I shouldn't expect any book to simply follow an established pattern; that I shouldn't pre-judge the plot and the characters' reactions.

Once again, the author has delivered a story with a different voice to it. Livia is growing, not only in her relationship with Blitz, but also in her own confidence as a person. I worried what was going to happen to this couple as a result of the very specific and public pressures that they faced in this volume. I feel invested in their story. I want them to buck the trend.

And I'm pleased to say that, although the author kept me on edge for much of this book, ultimately, she delivered a story which managed to subtly buck the expected trend - to provide a dramatic break which did not play out as I thought it would.

Once again, a joy to read.

I love this book. Livia and Blitz's story in this last book of the trilogy was my favorite. I feel that Blitz and Livia really faced some challenges, and Livia grew up even more and matured into a beautiful woman.
Living in a sheltered household left Livia not being prepared to face people who are scandalous, conniving, and who only out for themselves. Welcome to LA and reality TV. Blitz is use to this lifestyle so at times he doesn't seem to see Livia's stress.

The trials that these two are put through are enough for me to get a headache. Also at times I want to slap some people because all they care about are ratings and not the people. I think Deanna Roy really wrote a great story with this book. Can't wait to read the stand alone books on Livia & Blitz. I'm sure they will have bigger challenges ahead.

True Love is Worth Fighting For

I was so anxious to see what happened next in Livia and Blitz's story. I was definitely not disappointed. I loved Livia's character before and now after reading Wicked Dance I love her character so much more. She proved to be not only a lot stronger than what everyone believed her to be but also very clever too. Blitz and Livia are great together! They show the world that no matter what drama and craziness gets thrown their way they will overcome it together. That they belong together and love is worth fighting for.

Blitz and Livia are basking in the newness of their relationship until the 3 contestants drum up a heap of trouble Blitz has to deal with. Can they keep their relationship together after only a few months together? Or will the "Social media storm" swamp their love boat of dance?
"A tremor of fear runs through me. Is there anything they can actually do to hurt us?"
"This is healthy and part of who we are.
I'm not my father's daughter.
I'm my lover's love."
An excellent book 3 in the Blitzed series, well written and hard to put down. It kept me turning pages until I found myself at the last one with a definite smile on my face.

The third book in the series is about how Blitz is sued for breach of contract and to avoid it he has to agree to five more programs. Livia has to train very hard to reach the level of dancing of the other participants in the show.
Not a boring moment in the whole book. It keeps you reading and reading till the very last word. Very well-written with vivid descriptions that made you picture out everything that is happening very clearly in your mind.
A book that leaves you hungry for more. I will highly recommend this book.

I loved this book!!! I enjoyed learning about the ins/outs of reality tv! I am sure that wasn't necessarily the intention but nevertheless. I do not like Giselle!! She is manipulative and very rude!! I did not feel bad for her at all with the ending. I liked how Livia grew as a woman and dancer. She came into her own and proved herself worthy to be up on the stage with the rest!! I liked the ending, not giving anything away;) I am looking forward to reading the next book!!!

I am loving the story of Livia and Blitz. Each story their love develops even deeper. This story does not disappoint. It follows Livia and Blitz through the world of reality television since Blitz is forced to finish out his contract for the show after Livia stormed the stage at the finally. The women are mad and want their chance to “win” Blitz for the star power, which Livia just wants to keep the love of her life. It is great to see their story develop and to see Livia get more confidence with each story. I can’t wait until the next story in the series. I’m hooked.

I thought Wicked Dance was the best of the series so far. Livia shows how much she has grown not only as a dancer but also with more confidence in herself and her love for Blitz. Of course those nasty former contestants of Dance Blitz try to throw monkey wrenches into their relationship. It has a few sexy scenes and lots of drama. I really am looking forward to the next installment of their Tender Dance. I was gifted a copy by the author.

***I voluntarily read this ARC to give an honest review***I am truly in love with this love story. Livia and Blitz are forced to return to the Dance Blitz reality TV show. And it's to keep Benjamin from being sued for just about everything he has. Livia is now one of the actresses and dancers and she must perform as one of the contestants. The love holds true and as long as she trusts her man everything will work out for the best.

Loved It!!
Deanna made me feel like I was right there along side Blitz and Livia. I loved how they both "played the game" and came out of it together. The continuing saga keeps getting better and better. I got so involved in the story that there is no hope of sleep until I reach the last page.
Purchase this book and continue dancing with Blitz and Livia, you will be happy you did.

This is one book you absolutely get lost in
It just grabs you from the first page and it
keeps your interest right through the book.
This is book 3 in Lovers Dance if you have not
Read the books before this you should not let
that put you off this book because the way it's
written you will understand what it is all about
but once you have finished this book you are
going to want to grab the two books before this
one and read them.

Woohoo! This is the third book in this series and it keeps getting better and better. Ratings, ratings, ratings; this is all the producers of Blitz' show talks about but our heroine will not just step aside and let the remaining girls try and get her man! Don't want to give away any spoilers so you just have to read this story to find out how this one ends. Waiting for the next book in this series.

This was a great conclusion to this part of the story as Blitz and Livia try to navigate their relationship as they have to fulfill his contractual obligations while dealing with the "contestants" on the show. The entire series is wonderful and very well-written.

This book delved into the ugly side of the fame that was responsible for Blitz's notoriety and for Livia & Blitz meeting in the first place. It's a tense, dramatic story, filled with the staging & stress-filled world of reality television.

This series has me hooked. The teaser of Book 4 we got whetted my appetite. I can't wait to read it.

These characters make you want to fight for them. Deanna Roy has a way of making you unable to put down a book until you have no choice because you are at the end...then you are waiting anxiously for the next one to come out! Livia an Blitz are so believable and so in love that you want only the best for them.
