They say great things come in small packages, well this is definitely one of them. The simple and short collection of thoughts are great for inspiration, refocus, and simple reminders of what we forget during the hectic day.
First of all the author did ask that the book not be read from cover-to-cover but since I am reviewing it I went against that particular comment so I could get a hold of the whole actual book. As a fallback tool I think there are some quotes that will prove to be amazing and will talk to the heart for there were a few that jumped out at me with some of the issues that I am facing right now.
I truly enjoyed the idea of having an inspiration book that allows you to share the word with your social network, especially if you have one, for there is so much negative within the world while that is all that you are seeing. Instead of encouraging each other we are tearing each other down while there is a quote within the book that proves beautifully what we should be doing instead of what we are doing.
I didn't find a lot of problems with misspellings or grammar, which is a bit refreshing. I did see that out of all the themes the first one was the only one that didn't open with the picture but with a quote while the other themes were opened with a facing page of the photo that is on the cover.
And it is the same illustration that has captured my attention. Is there a particular use or meaning for this picture since otherwise it is just one of those blah types to me? It isn't enough to distract but in my opinion I don't know if I can say whether it adds to the book or not.
All in all a wonderful little book to keep for yourself or for friends and/or family who may need some encouragement occasionally or who wants a quick inspirational read. Along with the deep exercise questions in the back of the book to help your own personal growth it will have you hopefully thinking and working to make a better world.
