I really wanted to read this story because the topic itself - a Zambian warrior for the independence of his country, a scientist and a teacher wanted to outdo the USSR and the USA in star wars and send his afronauts to the moon.
The author, however, encountered great problems with the sources and the talkative/truths of the witnesses, and he did not manage to reach the key people.
So he fills this book with poetic descriptions of his own experiences in Zambia, the fact that he is not a fan of Star Wars, the mass at the stadium, he mentions Michael Jackson twice as a metaphor, he is not very good at writing about blacks without stereotypes, and he does not know exactly what his book is about.
Of course, it is worth reading it to learn about this intriguing story, but it is about 40-50 pages long, all the rest is the author's disordered impressions.
A quick sample of author's storytelling: "I was most moved by this photo: he's extremely black (XD) she's aristocratically white with a crown in her hair. He was still rotting in a British prison 3 years ago, poured in the urine of the guards (this is a euphemism on the pissing at him?) And humiliated. She's a member of the royal family, haughty and proud."
Btw great photo that shows not only the reality as it was taken, but also what was 3 years earlier.
