Satanism: A Beginner's Guide to the Religious Worship of Satan and Demons Volume I: Philosophy

Rate this book
In this, the first book in a new series on Traditional Satanism, Brother Nero, an outspoken advocate of the Devil and His ways for over 20 years, focuses on an area of Satanism that few other authors have discussed in the day to day philosophy and lifestyles of those who sincerely worship the Devil.
Many topics usually considered too controversial for print in a book such as this are dealt with in a straightforward, easy to understand manner. Some of the many subjects covered in this book
* Raising children in Satanism
* Satanic marriage and sexual relationships
* The nature of Satan and Demons
* Holy Texts of Traditional Satanism
* Al-Jilwah commentary
* Daily prayer
* Solitary practice vs. joining a Coven
This book is a series of essays meant to educate those outside of Satanism about the true nature of the people who practice it, as well as to provide a source of inspiration and spiritual guidance to the Satanic community.

This book is a good introduction to the practice of Traditional/Orthodox Satanism. Because this work is focused on the religious worship of Satan, it emphasizes the importance of prayer, service and devotion as keys to building a personal relationship with Satan and his Demons. The book does not focus on Magick or specific rituals, but instead describes how one can come to know Satan by responding to His call, making a pact, serving Him on this earth and ultimately in Hell – a place of reward for those who served Satan in life. After reading this work, I felt motivated to strengthen my spiritual connection with Satan and I feel that this author's zeal had a positive impact on my faith. I hope there are additional books to follow – the cover page of this book contains a reference to this work as being volume one of what I hope will become a series.

As many have said below this is the worst garbage you can find. Animal sacrifice, abuse of children and women, to include what I can only deduce was a rape fantasy, where the “author” desires a following of women to breed with and have “satanic babies”. I agree with the others who found it disturbing to say the least that a grown man wants to hang out with your children, and speaks about skinning animals.
I have not the slightest clue how anyone could read this and think it was spiritual or satanic by any means, unless of course you think Satanism is what the movies and the satanic panic made it out to be; which if this guy doesn’t stop with the nonsense, will probably begin another panic all over again.
At no point in time was their any syntax during this which leaned into the idea of objectivity, this was complete my side bias, and read much similar to a biblical horror story. Praying to the devil, fighting a war with “god”, choosing sides, being your own race as a satanist, is this Mein Kampf for the mentally challenged?

I also know of this “author” from his YouTube videos and ever changing stance within Left hand path and thought. I am aware after reading these reviews and this diatribe, that he has since changed his mind and is apparently now promoting the same ideas and content but under the guise of another name. This type of content is why we have so many problems in the occult community, and while priests have their hands on children across the globe, I honestly get the same vibe from this “author”. I would never leave my children alone with him, let alone allow him to poison the mind of anyone I care about with this absolute dumpster fire.

I would recommend this content to absolutely no one, and I hope you feel the same after venturing deep into the mind of a fanatical imbecile.

Embarrassing. Shallow and defensive throughout.
Even theistic Satanism deserves better than this.

"[A]nybody who can string more than two words together at a time can publish a book on Satanism..." Amen, Brother. If nothing else you've proven this.

This is the worst book I have ever read. The author includes a chapter about why you should let him hang out with your kids and then another chapter about how he kills little animals in his bedroom. This is a piece of garbage written by a seriously demented loser.

A book that spends more time convincing you that animal sacrifice is good and having non-Satanists friends is bad than it does speaking of the prayer that it says is so important. The small bits of wisdom aren't worth trudging through the ranting of an absolute fanatic.

Wouldn't reccomend to complete beginners. A manifesto of a man with... questionable views, who also happens to call himself a Satanist. Interesting read, but not very valuable as an introduction to Theistic Satanism.

I've read it cause i got the impression that it had a 1) gnostic workframe, 2) would be controversial. Not one of my hopes could be fulfilled. It was like reading a long rant. Not a good rant. A good rant would be more like a schizopost. Schizoposts are the best. Holy people do schizoposting. Brother Nero praises satanic unity and stuff but at the same time can't write one chapter without talking about things other satanists doing wrong. Most of his philosophy is defined about his detest for other practicioners who aren't so illuminated like him. Don't get me wrong. It is good to hate. Hate is love. But when you want to push your philosophy then show me what your philosophy consists of. Don't just rant. Be affirmative.

Satanisme traditionnel

Je pense que c'est un bon livre à lire. On peut trouve de bonnes idées, mais je ne pense pas qu'il faille tout croire dans ce livre.

Very straight forward, answered questions, left some more. Kinda questionable believes.... A bit problematic here and there.

Awesome beginners book

I loved reading this book. It maybe controversial to many, but I felt that it was a truthful book to help those starting out on this path.

Quite insightful. This is on traditional Satanism though. The book doesn't make the distinction clear to modern Satanism until quite late into the book.
