This series keeps getting better and better. Our heroine is captured by the Turks and forced to work with them, and given a xiongnu slave that reminds her of her mother. The extra story that was in the 2nd Chinese book is put at the end of this one, which is a nice place for it as it's now obviously about our Princess's parents. There's also a lot of background history in this one, at the start and the end. It probably would have been better to include this earlier for the French audience. But it was nice they included it this time at least. I'm looking forward to going and reading this in Chinese now.
