Ninety years in the future, in the center of a rebuilt Los Angeles is located the offices of Samuel Sloan, P.I. Sam takes a moment to enjoy his last cigar as he waits for his next client to walk through the door. Arthur Dowles had made an appointment to discuss the recovery of a valuable piece of art from his private collection. There are a few hints that he is not completely trustworthy, however the money is just too good to walk away from. The Case Files of Samuel Sloan is a collection of four Samuel Sloan mysteries. Futuristic detective stories narrated in a classic noir style. Taking place in a city filled by robotic policemen, gangsters, fist fights in abandoned dark alleys, at least one femme fatale, and a decent Bourbon if it would not be too much trouble. His only constant ally being the SARAHX77 model computer generated hologram, a combination of accountant, personal assistant, and nagging housewife that is rarely out of earshot.
