Recognition Denied: The untold story of a daring World War II night parachute jump by Darby's Rangers into a German-held airport

Rate this book
The only parachute jump by Darby's Rangers in World War II is a closely-held secret, although rumors of the mission have been whispered for decades. I have searched in vain for written documentation, but the manner in which I initially — and subsequently — learned of the mission is incontrovertible. Reading this book will inform you of everything I know about the drop behind enemy lines. I am convinced it happened. You may decide for yourself.

Excellent read

Great tribute to the unsung heroes, so many things we don't know about the war. Young people should absolutely read.
