I thought that this was an okay installment in the Borough Boy’s series. Brad was a bit hard to like, but I could understand his feelings and why he had a hard time settling down in the pack. I also don’t like it much when the author makes one of the MCs straight until he’s mated and then suddenly he has a male mate. I can buy into it a bit when it comes to shifters, but it’s not my favorite trope.

The action and conflict in the story was good. I liked confrontation at the end of the book. All in all, I liked it but it wasn’t anything spectacular.

The story concludes with a battle for the future

This final book in the Borough series has a hint of misogyny with one of the female characters being referred to as a 'betas bike', which jarred somewhat.

Other than that, it had the least interaction between the pairings and a bit more about the pack dynamics and future than elements of a romance.

The series as a whole is an okay read though.

So I read books 1 and 2 and loved them. This one disappointed me however. I liked Stephen but Brad made me want to toss the book out the window. (To bad its an ebook). I hated Brad. He was selfish, spoiled and irresponsible. I get that he didn't want to be an alpha and he was born to it with no choice but being an alpha comes with responsibilities. I could not believe fate would pick him to be an alpha to start a new line of alphas. Being a good alpha means putting the pack first (at least I believe so). Even in the end when he gets a mate and is ok with his hometown he picks up and leaves 6 months of the year. He and his mate also plan to have a baby and be gone those 6 months even after its birth! That man should not be an alpha or a father. I am glad the series ended before Brad and Stephen had a family or I would never been able to continue the series. Stephen would have been a better choice for alpha. A way better choice. I liked him much better. The story was also not as good as the others being very thin except for the battle with the rogues. That did not help. All in all i recommend reading books 1 and 2 and skipping this one.

Disappointing

I had very mixed feelings about this book.

One the one hand, I love the situation of having a fated mate who has to open himself up to a new sexuality. Added to that, Stephan didn't have much respect for Brad, initially, seeing his wanderlust as immaturity and a refusal to do his duty. If this book had focused on their relationship and Worthing through these differences more, it would have been great.

Unfortunately, that wasn't what we got. The conflicts between Brad and Stephan were swept away rather conveniently - all part of the magic of mating - where any rational reservations, or personal dislikes suddenly melt away. But then we also had to learn about a whole new prophecy created to explain the inconsistency in the story from the previous two books - if the prophecy was lost, and no one was researching anything about the marks changing as they have with the alpha pairings, how did Brad suddenly know about this prophecy that no one else knew?

If the people of the Borough isolate themselves from human society, why would Grayson and Aaron say that not having their marks any longer makes them more normal? It's the exact opposite in their community. Why did the mate bond form with just sex for Grayson/Reagan and Brad/Stephan, but required a bite for Aaron/Jordan? What triggered the new alpha form if it wasn't the mating? Can Reagan or Doctor Sarah not provide IVF services? Or can females not be impregnated via IVF due to some quirk of the werewolf gene?

Overall, I wanted to like this book much more than I did, but it felt like the author decided that the rules she had set up were to restricting, so she just magically broke them, or ignored them to get to the end.

Brad and Stephen

The final book in the Borough Boys series is a fantastic conclusion to the tale so far. Once again picking up where the story left off, Brad, the only remaining unmated alpha of the generation, is forced to return to his pack in their time of need as they fight the rogue wolves. Brad is unconventional in that he has this drive to explore the world and has no desire to be tied to the pack and forced to stay in one place. Stephen, a gamma born wolf who fought to become a beta wolf, is the ultimate pack member. He has strong pack ties and connections, and is ready to mate. He just didn't expect his mate to be a male, and one who isn't really part of the pack. As the two fight their desire and connection, fate has other plans for them. Stephen finally gives in to desire, but realizes he is in for heartbreak where Brad is concerned, but steps up when the rogues make their final attack on the pack. Stepping into his role of alpha mate, Stephen draws the entire pack together and breaks role stereotypes to show the entire pack just how strong they can really be. As the pack fights the rogues and wins the battle, the reason for all the M/M alpha pairings is revealed. In the aftermath, all the uber-alphas and their mates come together to make the pack better and stronger and change the way their pack runs. These revelations show Brad and Stephen that they truly are meant to be together and they compromise to find their HEA.

***I voluntarily reviewed an Advance Reader Copy of this book in exchange for an honest review***

I loved each book in the series as they were well written and easy to read. For some they can be read in one setting. They made me smile and sometimes laugh. They had some suspense and drama without moving for me out of the still romance category. There are sexual situations and scenes in these books although nothing overtly hardcore but you should be aware of them.

Brad's the unconventional alpha from the Borough. He feels the call of the road not of the wolf community. He's called home when the Borough and it's residents are in danger. Reagan again with the help of his mate act as matchmaker setting Brad and Stephen together to "find" each other. Brad can't stay away nor can Stephen even though he really tries. Once the danger is over Stephen now mated to Brad dreads his departure. While fireworks flew whenever they got together Brad wants to leave and tries but the pain of the separation drives him home and to Stephen. Another male pairing of alpha's raises concerns but Greyson and Brad quickly tell the elders to essential butt out the 3 male pairings were in going to be in charge. Brad and Stephen have some serious issues they need to workout before they can find their HEA.

Brad is one of the five new generation alphas. Instead of staying and being the traditional alpha, Brad has been traveling away for over ten years. He really doesn't want a female mate since he is gay . With the rogue trouble increasing, he is called back to help his pack. The other alpha's have been discussing Brad and his mark and Jordan realizes that he has seen a friend with the same mark. Stephen was born a Gamma wolf but wanted more. He challenged for the right to work as a beta and won. His mate mark grew more distinct in the last year so he is hoping for a female mate. He is surprised when he realizes that his mate is alpha and male. Stephen doesn't have much respect for Brad who he feels deserted their pack. Can Brad win him over?

Brad is the last unmated alpha of the pack and is roaming the country. As the pack is in danger he is called back by Grayson. Other packs who have been attacked from the rogues ask the old council of the Greenborough Pack to come for a meeting. Brad was needed to protect the pack together with Grayson, Reagan, Aaron, Jordan, the Betas and Omegas. As soon as he is back he feels attracted to the Beta male Stephen. As he wants to get to know Stephen, which is not easy, both struggle with their attraction for each other and finally mate. Then the rogues attack and it is a bloody fight with losses on both sides. As the council comes back from the meeting Grayson and Brad stand up as new alphas including Aaron. Things are about to change.

The final book of the borough boys series. Boy this book had it all, stubborn stupid alpha. An unsure beta and hell of a war.

Okay so before I read the book, I saw a comment on Amazon from another reader saying how she wanted to beat Brad with his own book. And boy do I agree with her! I've never met a more stubborn foolish man in my life. And a selfish one at that, but he semi redeemed himself towards the end.

As for Stephen he was loveable if a little too stiff for my liking. But his character was written well.

Wasn't my favorite of the series but it wasn't a bad book.

Stephen is so not into men that he try to fight his attraction to Brad. Brad have a wandering soul, he can’t stay in place, he can’t stay in pack. And Stephen can’t stay without the pack. They need help of other Alphas to find their way to be together. Rogues became a huge problem and final confrontation is at the pack doors. The changes that going to happen after it are incredible, and future seems better for Borough pack.

Final Book in Series is Exceptional!!

Loved the final book in the Borough Boys Series. It is an exceptional read. Just like the other two, this book did not disappoint. MM themed books are not my usual read, but I am so glad that I gave this series a shot. I loved every minute of each story.

Another fantastic addition to the series. Brad and Stephen's story was exciting, action packed and gripping to read.

Brad was stubborn but his mating bond bought out a different side to him. I felt sorry for Stephen; Brad's actions broke his heart; physically and emotionally.

I thoroughly enjoyed this story - everything came together nicely.

Brad and Stephan mate

Wow most series start to the storyline as they get longer but these seem to get stronger. I enjoyed the way the author keeps the other MCs in the story but doesn't lose the two main MCs in each book. This one was no different with the drama and danger to the pack but also showed how the pack was changing for the better.

Alpha Brad returns to borough when his old Alpha friends call him. Running from the pack for over 10 years, he returns to find not only the pack in grave danger but his fated mate. The only problem is his fated mate is straight, or so he thinks. Another short story is full of attraction, hot action, and a pack growing into itself, finding a new way to exist. Worth the read

I did NOT like brad. Yes, there has to be a problem to be resolved. But the character is written in a way that makes him seem like a douchebag. couldnt get over it. Book not for me but I'd still give it a shot if you read the other books already

Brad and Stephen are mated and the prophecy is fulfilled with 3 ultra-Alphas producing the next generation of Alphas to strengthen the pack. The rogues are totally defeated.
