Rate this book
Emma Anderson had dreamed of becoming a physician for as long as she could remember. She worked hard to attain her status and was accepted to the Philadelphia Women’s Hospital. To her dismay, she was rejected by patients simply because she was a woman.

In a desperate attempt to change her life, she began to correspond with Anthony Wilson a physician from Texas in the hope that he would invite her to move to Texas to be his wife. Emma was not concerned with romance, she simply wanted to do what she loved; to save lives.

Ralph Martin had been shot by lawmen and he needed urgent medical attention. He happened to find Emma in the clinic and threatens to shoot her if she does not help him. Soon, an innocent visit to the clinic turns into a kidnapping.

Emma fears for her life, and soon learns that people are not always as they seem.

Find out what happens to Emma, in this new wonderful story about prejudice, justice and finding love…
