Harry, a normal university lecturer is spending a quiet Sunday. Rising late in the morning, Harry makes the short journey to the local shop for the Sunday papers. Life for Harry is predictable and safe, his only concerns in life is to survive each day attempting to teach a class of teenagers the rudiments of science. His only pleasures involve the local pub and a microwave meal. Nothing exciting ever happens to Harry, until this day. On the walk back from the shop, Harry encounters a small jade box on the pavement in front of him. Curiosity leads him to pick it up and take it back to his small flat for further investigation. Once alone in his kitchen, Harry opens the box . . . .
When Harry awakes, he is no longer in his flat. He is no longer on Earth. He is no longer human.
