"Everything is unified. Everything is One. Separation is the true illusion". The Indian sages have been saying that for long but with the advent of Quantum Physics the west seems to have come around to the same idea of "Universal Consciousness". The west now concludes that "matter is energy" and they are interchangeable. "Energy doesn't have a cut off point where it ends and another separate energy begins. Just like the waves of the ocean, it's all connected. It's all One. The only thing that changes is the rate at which it vibrates- that is, its frequency." The beauty of this book is that it presents these complex ideas and formulations in such a simple manner that they becomes intelligible to a common man. The author gives examples and draws from experiments to prove his point scientifically. Ultimately there is a message as well. He does not advocate total submission to circumstances. He also believes that one must respond to the best of our abilities in the physical world". However, "after acting in the appropriate way on the physical front, try not to harbour resentment and hatred towards your attacker, but see them as someone who has come to teach you how to love despite how difficult it may be"
A book worth reading, keeping and practicing.

We are waking up and this book is proof

I have followed a path that many have traveled before me and many will follow after. I enjoyed this book as more confirmation of what I now know as truth. We are all waking to truth and it is setting is free. We ultimately are all one. This world is an illusion. More and more of us are waking to truth. This book condenses the truth of many high minded teachers.
It gives mental exercises to help you help yourself and the world. If we all did the exercises in this book we would have heaven on earth. Recommend reading and doing the exercises. Do your part to create heaven on earth for all. I Love you. Thank you. Peace of God and peace beyond all understanding be for all of us one..

Many theories are building upon absolutely unscientific pseudo science. I do like many ideas in that book but trying to base them on science where there is none is just unacceptable.

Full of contradictions and misinterpretation

Mind bending? Yes but in a different way as the author intended. It is such a blatant collection of misquotes and misinterpretation of science that it bends my mind.

Let's take the example of water reacting to music. Water reacted positively to John Lennon and negatively to AC/DC. Seriously? So how do we know that water is a John Lennon fan and doesn't like AC/DC? And is there water somewhere on this planet which is an AC/DC fan? Or is AC/DC negative in general? The other example with eggs reacting. An egg reacted to other eggs being boiled in the vicinity. The book also says there is no separation, all is One etc. But then the author describes how an egg SEPARATED from others by a lead container is still reacting. Ummmm......

Too much misinformation

I wish I could have given this book more stars, but it presents logical fallacies and pseudoscience. Now, don't get me wrong, I am not arguing in favor of scientific empiricism. I fully support science exploring questions that go against the "status quo", but Dr. Emoto was not a real scientist, and his experiments were not only poorly performed but could not be replicated on a larger scale.

This book also argued against Darwin's evolution theory. Although I am open against other interpretations, I did not find his rebuttal to be logically sound. There few other errors in his book as well, many of which have been refuted.

I give this book one additional star for properly interpreting quantum mechanics as well as explaining the oneness of things and how we are all interconnected. There were a few orher intriguing things as well, but all in all it was full of too much misinformation.

Mr. Masri's book, Reality Unveiled, was an eye-opener to say the least. Very well written and easy to understand. I couldn't put it down. I've read dozens of books on buddhism, hinduism, new-wave spirituality, general eastern philosophy and mysticism and many more. I can't remember reading a book that elicited such excitement within me for a very long time. It was as though I ran into a very close old friend that I missed and hadn't seen in a long time. The seeker has discovered a treasure and it's this book. I highly recommend it to the newcomer to self-discovery and to those such as myself that have been seeking for lifetimes. Bravo!

Awaken to Your True Self

A “must read” for those who are setting off on the path of spiritual awakening. Drawing from diverse sources, Ziad brings the threads of research into consciousness and metaphysics into a book that offers to open the mind and expand the soul. His style is sincere and unpretentious and I thoroughly enjoyed his book.

I received a copy from Netgalley, in exchange for an honest review.

This was an alright read. The book was interesting at times, while other parts were boring. The book was a fast read. I was kind of disappointed with the way the book turned out for me. The book made some interesting points, but it was not enough to grab my attention. It just was not my cup of tea. I hope this author writes more books that are more engaging. Overall, an okay read.

So many five star reviews had me thinking this book would change my life. But, in fact, the reviews only prove human gullibility.

There are some lovely spiritual concepts in this that the author is putting forward, and they generally match my sense of faith: We are all one. There are things/energies we cannot sense. We should all strive towards unconditional love to change the world.

I like these ideas. But they aren’t earth shattering. These are ideas I hear a lot and attached to long ago.

But then the author wants to give evidence for this notion of faith through proving some things: that aliens are real and have visited, that atoms are empty space so reality is an illusion and nothing is solid, that we reincarnate, that there’s life after death.

Again, there’s not a single idea here that I haven’t heard before. And sure, some of them I like to think about, like wondering about aliens or reincarnation.

But then he presents the “science.” Oh no.

When you first read it, a lot of the “science” sounds convincing. However, a simple Google search on EVERY SINGLE CLAIM reveals that these have all been debunked over and over. Oh, some guy in the 1960s put a REALLY OLD TECHNOLOGY lie detector on a plant and it registered emotion? Hmmm. How about with technology 60 years later? Oh, no one can replicate it. Not a single one. Just this one dude, alone, this one time, 60 years ago, and we’re supposed to then trust that plants OBVIOUSLY have feelings.

Are atoms empty space, Google? Turns out no. Waves of electrons and energy.

There are a lot of logical fallacies too. Like the fact that buzz aldrin talked about a monolith on mars. Um, so what? Aldrin went to our moon, not mars, and these two places are not nearby each other in space. It’s not like he was out driving his rocket and he casually saw a structure on mars. That’s not proof.

He also says so many inaccuracies, like that a rectangle shape can’t be made in nature. As I was reading I just glance up at all my fluorite crystals, perfect cubes. Or I think of my visit to Ireland and Giant’s Causeway—hexagonal rocks. Ok. Next!

He lost me entirely at the idea that people choose evil over love. He needs some education in psychology and an understanding of narcissistic personality disorder.

But the worst is the tone. The tone is condescending. It continually says “obviously” and “irrefutably” and “clearly” as it makes its bogus claims.

However it’s easy to read. The spiritual stuff, though pretty mundane and common sense, isn’t off the wall, and I do love pondering aliens and ancient people and whatnot.

But this book is for people that don’t think critically, people who believe something is true just because someone typed it onto paper and bound it in a nice book (and people that need less than that even…)

And there’s nothing life changing in it whatsoever.

The book started decently well, talking about the connections in the universe in a scientific way. As it hit the half mark, most of the things, the author proposed were either based on conspiracy/philosophical views and not essentially the truth. Please use introspection and don't take the things written here on faith. Few of the things about the universe which were explained is borrowed info. Sorry. Not recommended for starters. Read Richard Dotts/ Vadim Zeland.

The author asks us to question everything yet he doesn’t question his sources. Over 75% of these studies and so called experts are not legitimate. Every reference even for those things that could and should be proven by well known and respected sources are taken from mystic writings. Those sources that are well known and respected, have their ideas extrapolated and twisted such as the principles of quantum physics and Einstein’s understanding that time isn’t universal.

Wow

Pulls together so many studies and then focuses on a coherent avenue to integrate this into your life. From all I've read before and what he presents in his book, this is an excellent explanation of the "true" reality . Thanks!

Mind-blowing. This book perfectly sums up everything I’ve learned from my own spiritual awakening, but from a scientific perspective. Must-read! I guarantee if you enter this book with an open mind, you will come out of it a different person.

read the Chinese version - 覺醒練習 by 賴柏任

“你不是大海中的小水滴。你是包含整個大海的小水滴。”

like most other negative comments on the main page, it was super hard for me to continue reading upon the claims of water bending/shadow changing. If not for Ho Ching's strong recommendation, this book would most probably be left in my 'dnf' shelf.

This book also mentioned a few other religious ideas along side with Buddhism. I couldn't get the first two Chinese characters right. My parents where strong Buddhist practitioners, but they always said the first two words in reverse order. Today I found out that they have been saying it wrong all along, and the book title is actually the right one - which means I have been listening to these two terms all along, without knowing what they are.

My first exposure to corn maize and unearthly-humans was the young me watching Chicken Little. Things never go to deep thought with my brain.

This book has changed me, but there's nothing specific that I can pinpoint on. I only remember what made me feel mad - the ideas that made me feel tiny and worthless, the "experiments" that does not go by what I've learnt in school, the fact that they ask me to love a*holes that make my life hard, to feel sympathy and compassionate to these people...

However, there were also other things that made me feel..., better. I wouldn't say that it would change anyone's life, but it does make life easier - just by changing your perspective. It's a lot harder for me to really "feel" on the spiritual level, so let me just start from the psychological side. It does mention something that is common in most self-help books, and it's that everything in life is to hone you, to make you better, but this book mentions that it's our spirit where it gets elevated, and we get prepared to move on to another dimension. Another more common idea is that love (or other acts that are perceived as generous, kind) should not be an act of fear, where we give with an expectation of something in return. What's new to me was the idea of hugging and accepting our dark sides. This was one thing that my friend had always helped me with prior of reading this book. It's to let yourself immerse in those strong, yet seemingly dark feelings. To not be afraid to be angry or sad.

I've started to take up yoga (again) after reading this book, but this time, from a spiritual perspective instead of being fit. To date, I still do not buy all the ideas, but it has definitely made me feel less excess emotions, and being able to face my dark side, or even wanting to understand it more. Because only by understanding the root, I will only get a chance for other alternatives to give my self other options in terms of reacting once more.

I look forward to re-reading this in the future, hopefully the English version. Thank you HC for giving this book to me, holding discussions, and providing insights when I had seemingly contradicting questions with this book. At some point, this book did help me with my 2023 mental trauma.

The book delves into the profound concept of reincarnation and the interconnectedness of all beings, presenting a compelling argument that we are part of a greater whole—Ultimate Selfless Love. According to the author, our existence is part of the third plane of multiple souls, which are fragments of a singular Wholeness. The central thesis revolves around the idea that everything in the universe is composed of vibrations, frequencies, and energy, and that our purpose in these cycles of reincarnation is to learn essential lessons, ultimately ascending through seven planes of existence.

The narrative also explores the possibility of extraterrestrial beings from higher frequencies or other planets who may serve as spiritual guides for humanity. To elevate our own frequency and achieve Enlightenment, the author emphasizes the importance of practicing love, forgiveness, and meditation. These practices are portrayed as the keys to transcending our current plane and reaching higher states of consciousness.

While the book offers a fascinating perspective on life, spirituality, and the universe, I find myself sitting on the fence regarding its claims. Perhaps this hesitation stems from a lack of personal experiences that align with the extraordinary phenomena described. Nevertheless, the book provides a thought-provoking lens through which to view existence, encouraging readers to reflect on their own beliefs and the universal principles of love and kindness.

Ultimately, the book aligns with the core message shared by many religions and spiritual beliefs: the importance of cultivating a kind and loving attitude throughout life. Whether or not one fully embraces its ideas, it undeniably offers a fresh and intriguing perspective on the nature of reality and our place within it. Time will tell if these concepts resonate more deeply, but for now, I appreciate the opportunity to explore this unique worldview.

The Memory

Memory Beyond Time and Space

This is a note of gratitude to Ziad for expressing my understanding of reality. In every fundamental respect we view reality through the same window. While my view is more simplistic, it corresponds and resonates with what Ziad has written.

My purpose is to share love and peace through unity with all that is. My mantra is, 'Let LIFE lead', LIFE being defined as the infinite and eternal unity of all that is.

My practice and understanding arise from the 'earliest' memory I have. This memory corresponds to Ziad's meditation experience detailed in chapter 10.

There is no sensory input, not even a sense of self. There is an infinite and eternal nothingness or emptiness that is beyond any concept of infinity or eternity. No concept or thought, neither time nor space exists. The exquisite awareness of being is all that is.

Somehow in the emptiness the sensation of movement through the darkness arises. As the movement accelerates a faint gray boundless wall of light appears in the far distance. As the movement accelerates the wall of light becomes brighter and more intense until finally, moving at unimaginable speed, the awareness crashes into the blinding wall of light. The memory ends here.

I take the initial awareness in the void to be an experience of what Ziad refers to as his experience of 'The Gateway Density.' The subsequent movement and crash into the wall of light I assume to be a remberance of dying or being born.

It is immensely gratifying to know there are others who share these experiences.

A stunning achievement, synthesising everything we know about reality from every conceivable angle

This book is one of the three most powerful books I’ve had the pleasure of reading - and I have read close to a thousand books over my lifetime. Only the works of Carl Jung, Alan Watts and Jordan Peterson have had a comparable impact on me.

Reality Unveiled concisely presents the scientific and experiential case for reality as it is, not just what our selective sense organs perceive, incorporating the latest quantum physics as well as experiences and viewpoints from the most respected thinkers of the twentieth century - including Einstein and Jung.

It is a tour de force. My sincere hope is this book finds you when you are ready for it. The book has given my experiences in deep meditation and work with plant medicines a cohesive framework through which to order what I experientially know to be true.

A stunning achievement that has changed my life through by giving me an understanding of reality as it is. 10/10 recommend.

Thank you Ziad

An interesting read, looking at links between science and spirituality. It trods some same ground as other works, but does include some material (on experiments) I have not seen elsewhere. It provides an encouraging view of our human journey by leading readers down the path to focus on opportunities rather than what gets in the way. I didn't think the chapter on UFO's/people from other worlds was needed, nor fit with the rest of the contents. If they do exist and did create monuments, like the pyramids, which the author suggests, I am not seeing how it's a help to our spiritual growth and understanding. Also, if they are visiting now, as the author also proposes, it seems we are not to learn much, since the visitors seem not intelligent enough to avoid being captured and hidden by our governments; not once but continuously?

Greatness

The Secret sent me on a quest to find out more. So I read this book... it made my whole self smile from within...one day years ago I was saying a prayer and at the end I said the words my love and joy find each person I came in contact with and everyone they come in contact with and so on...after I said amen...I felt a peace that I can not forget. I've often wondered why of all the prayers did that one just play over and over in my mind I dont even remember why I said that particular prayer but now I know why. As I read more and more on this subject memories of the divine at work just pops into my memory... I didn't know it then but it's been working all along...amazing to me it is...Thank you for simplifying it for all of us to grasp...the experiments only further confirmed it and made me so overjoyed when they worked...again Thank you..

Wow

Absolutely amazing book! I don’t write reviews much and I don’t see why honestly everyone has to hate on this book which is the purpose of this book is to love regardless but anyways this book has so much depth and explanation and coincides with what I’ve been reading combined and a good reminder this will be a book to constantly look to and of course build upon. I’ve studied religion, love, compassion, shadow work, quantum physics, spirituality, etc and this guy I can tell with the information he has given us is from the heart and truly appreciate what he has done for us All. We “Seekers” know there is something more than what we call “reality” but this book shows proof to the skeptics and definitely needs a open mind and prayer before reading and truly resonate with. Thank you brother for sharing this knowledge with Love and to All keep searching!

Life changing

This book will change your life even if just a fraction of what you read resonates with you. I am already familiar with eastern and Vedic philosophies so much of what Mr. Masri writes about rings familiar to me and quite acceptable. If you are all new to this and coming from a conventional religious background you might be tempted to scoff. Read it with an open heart and an open mind and your life will be transformed. I especial like his references to the scientific studies that he uses to support his work. He also gives very doable practical steps to ground your life in loving kindness and remember who you are. My only regret is that I borrowed this from kindle unlimited - it deserves a place on the coveted hard copy bookshelf.

This book grabbed me immediately and held my undivided attention throughout during a three day period. If ever there was a book that should be read by everyone, it is this! I have read countless spiritual, self help & health based books over a period of 5 decades. At 71 and counting, Reality Unveiled has risen to the top of my best ever books and damn if there is anything that can replace it except for this authors next one.
Ziad Masri, if you read this review, I sincerely thank you from the bottom of my heart for writing with such passion and love for mankind. The message is still resonating with me and have recommended your book to everyone in my circle of family and friends.
This is a page turner and fascinating look into our reality. Don’t miss it!

DNF - I did enjoy some of the earlier theories explored in this book drawing from actual physics.... but my doubts set in when this author started toting the racist theory that 'aliens built the pyramids' and other such ignorant 'archaelogical' theories. While I do believe in aliens, this is language constantly perpetuated by colonizer societies to dismiss 'uncivilized' peoples of their architectural and societal accomplisments.

I tried to just skip this part, hoping maybe there might be something more to glean... until this author started toting anti-evolutionist theories. If this thought system is so "scientifically based" then why does it only draw on pseudoscience that is unrepeatable versus well researched and accepted theories?

Excellent book started with scientific explanation and then shown relationship of it with spirituality.

Author has tried his best to show spirituality is not imaginary illusion but it is science and he has tried to give best possible co relations with scientific principles. Not related to teaching of any particular religion but at the same time he has tried to explain that it covers principles of most of religions. Book will be equally interesting for any atheist or person of any religion belief. Different book recommended to be read by all of any faith. Author has done lot of hard work to co relate science with spirituality.
