ARC Provided and Reviewed by We’ve Licked that book blog!

I have to say I really enjoyed this book it is different from any I have read before of Andie’s.
I was hooked from the start, I kept turning the pages to find out what was going happen in the story.
Eden tired of having one night stands takes a job as a PA but not just a regular PA it includes to their bedroom as well, she enjoys it at first then she starts to get a bit bored…
Then she goes missing, Xavier, one of her one night stands is the last person to see Eden before she goes missing, with the help of her best friend they help people out in trying to find out what has happened to Eden.
I loved Xavier he is hot but also has a broken past
I will not go into details but the story is great and well written.
This book was thrilling, Dark in places a roller coaster of a ride.

Based on the synopsis and cover, I had high expectations, hoping for a seriously dark and deviant story. There are definitely glimpses of that but this book is much more than, “dark erotica”.

Sexually uninhibited Eden takes a job as a live-in housekeeper AND ménage partner.
“Can you fuck me later? Okay, I’m off to do the shopping.”

The night before Eden moves into the home of her new employers, she has a sexy one night stand with a man named Xavier. Eden doesn’t have time to think about Xavier for long as she is quickly immersed in to her new life with employers/livers Jack and Sienna. Initially the job is ideal but not for long....
“This job represented a way to live free of relationship constraints. Instead, I’ve ended up out of my depth with a couple who seem to think they own me.”

When Eden suddenly disappears, her best friend Kara is determined to find her. Being the last person to have seen her, Xavier is also sucked into the investigation.

I’ve read a lot of books about women taken into captivity and forced to be sex slaves yet this is the first book I’ve read where we get to read about the aftermath following the woman’s return. I loved the way Eden’s psychiatric issues were dealt with
(for example the realistic exposure therapy sessions); it was obvious that Ms. Long did her research! With hot sex, police investigation, secrets, false identities, ménage, unwavering friendship and so much more – this book really has it all!

This story was amazing. Without giving anything away, all I can say is this book to me through a gamut of emotions. Have the tissues close as you will need them. I was hooked, I could not put this book down. This book was dark and intense. I really loved how Andie Long drew you in. I felt so vested in the characters, hating some, rooting for others. The author revealed these characters strengths and weakness like peeling back layers in an onion. I will say that it is a standalone no cliffhanger with HEA. This is the first book for me by this author, but it definitely will not be my last. I voluntarily reviewed this book with my honest opinion.

Saviour by Andie M. Long is a fierce, forbidden, yet astonishing story that everyone will instantly love.

As soon as you begin Saviour, you will be intrigued by Eden Stark and the job offer she finds. It's thrilling, yet becomes a little scary with everything that Eden gets thrown into. It's passionate and exciting with plenty of emotions and affection thrown into the mix.

When you are introduced to the incredible man that is Xavier, you are going to adore him. I couldn't get enough of his character. He and Eden only meet once and he can't get her out of his head. So when he finds her and then everything takes a tumble, he never gives up looking for her. I love his pull to Eden and that they have this mutual respect to help one another, to love one another wholly. He was her saviour.

So if you love a story that sets you on fire and fully invests you in the characters, this is the book for you. But be fully noted, some of it is dark and will pull at all of your emotions. It was the best combination of raw, edgy, and exceptional writing. I hope to get more stories with these characters.

I give Saviour by Andie M. Long 5 out of 5 POWERFUL STARS.

WOW wow wow. I've read Andie's books before and I swear, this woman can just change genre effortlessly. I loved this book - it was fast paced, sexy and at times terrifying. It was written very honestly and the end of the book especially gave me the kind of complete closure I felt myself and the character needed. Throughout there were still glimpses of Andie's humour which lightened the mood when things got heavy. I can't say enough about this book - read it!

This was an emotional read. Poor Eden, she was a lost soul trying to find herself and ended up in hell. Xavier really was her saviour. He was awesome and had his own hell to deal with. I loved the friendships in this story, it was descriptive, so not for readers of sexual abuse sensitivity. Very well written.

After falling in love with this dark cover I knew I had to read this...Saviour didn't disappoint.

Eden Stark has a troubled upbringing but having one solid friendship, her best friend Kara is now her family. After a one-night stand, a job opportunity presents itself, the pair take their opportunities to spread their wings. Gain new experiences...

Excerpt:
I can't put my finger on why I'm never satisfied. I always feel there's something else out there for me. Something more I should do with my life...the need to experience life. I lust for thrills, exhilaration.

The new job for Eden as house Pa starts as a dream come true. The seriously hot ménage scenes are out of this world. Added extras on top of her job allowance. I know what you're thinking..it sounds a little predictable right? WRONG!
Cue the darkness....

Excerpt:
This job represented a way to live free of relationship constraints. Instead, I've ended up out of my depth with a couple who seem to think they own me. This is not what this arrangement was supposed to be.

Remember that one night stand I mentioned? Yes? Xavier. Doesn't the name just get you all hot and bothered? Just me?! Well, in trying times, he and Kara turn to one another emotionally to be Eden's Saviour. Because she was going to need one!

Excerpt:
...I close my eyes. I try to relax as he takes my body, but it hurts. For the first time, there's no pleasure in it for me. My soul cries though I cannot.

What I loved was seeing the girl we know break, but also heal again. We stay with her beyond the usual suspense timeframe. It was real, raw end just astounding.
Didn't know what to expect from this given that I know the author well for rom-coms but Andie M Long has blown it out the park with this incredible story which had me at five stars at the 50% mark. It went above and beyond for me.
Outstanding read for those of you who like dark/suspense reads!

Final excerpt:
I'm swapping one captivity for another, but this time, I can be myself, the barely existing Eden without the expectation that I can return to my old self. I feel like that woman has gone.

I really like Andie's Ball Games series. It was super funny. I haven't read anything else by her until this one. Saviour is very different from the Ball Games. I was hooked. I started reading it and I got totally pulled into the story that I lost complete track of time. I loved the way this book was set up. It has four parts and is told in a few POVs.

Eden enjoys sex but isn't really looking for a relationship. She is looking for a better job when her best friend, Kara, tells her about a house PA job that may involve sex too. Before she goes for her interview for house PA she has a one night stand with Xavier. I kind of thought that would be the last we saw of him. Her new employers are Jack and Sienna. At first, I liked them a little bit but them they take a weird turn. Thing aren't always as they seem and Eden learns that pretty quickly. Xavier and Kara team up to help save Eden. I loved Kara, she really is a great friend. Xavier is a great guy too. He has had past that was not so good.

This one is has gritty parts but it also has nice sweet parts too. I really enjoyed reading this one.

I've just spent my afternoon/evening reading this and I thoroughly enjoyed it. I've not read anything by this author before but that's certainly gonna change after reading this gem.

Eden searches for happiness through sex. Just before starting a new job she has a one night stand with Xavier Harrington. Neither can't forget the other. Edens new job is a live in PA for a couple with sex included.
When Eden disappears her best friend Kara frantically looks for her. She drags Xavier in to help. Can two broken people really help each other to move on and heal from the past?

Well written story full of suspense, twists and turns. I would say this is a lighter dark read if ya know what I mean. I'm so glad I spent my Saturday reading this and I'll certainly be reading more from this author.
I highly recommend this read.

My first read by Andie Long, and it was dark and graphic and oh so sad. What this poor woman went through was horrific and heartbreaking. I don't want to give much away but this young woman is searching for sexual fulfillment. She, unfortunately, finds it in the most graphic and violent way. The story is told in four parts in alternating POV's by three people. I was searching for the big "wow" during the story, but I was not "wowed" enough when the big reveal was experienced. I needed more to give this book higher than three stars. I'm not saying that it was not good, but I guess I was just expecting that huge reveal somewhere towards the end. It does have a very fitting ending where the heroine finally gets to move on with her life. She was a very brave and strong woman, and I'm glad that she was finally able to take back her life. Looking forward to reading more from this author...

I loved this book!
I mean... even the cover was dark hot and sexy!
Well, that cover set the tone for what turned out to be an amazing read!
The characters were beautifully developed and Andie took care of giving us a story that when I finished it, it felt truly complete.
Hot, edgy, and dark.
The suspenseful, twisted story of Eden is sooo good!!
Eden is a woman with a troubled past who finds comfort in one night stands. To celebrate a new phase of her life, Eden celebrated by hooking up with Xavier. Except trouble finds Eden and she disappears. Xavier is dragged by her best friend Kara into helping to find her as he's the last person who saw her alive.
What unfolds is what makes this story a must read!

Saviour is an incredibly well-written thriller with perfect light and dark elements. A sexy and passionate novel that turns harmless fun into twisted and sinister.

Eden Stark is a loveable loose cannon searching for affection in all the wrong places. Xavier Harrington is the one-night-stand that proves to be her saving grace when he's the last person to see her alive.

This is very much a story of life choices. Coming from a turbulent childhood, Eden is no angel but she never set out to hurt anyone. Her release comes in climatic form when her desire to feel wanted makes her an easy target when a housekeeping position in Manchester for a professional married couple turns into a consensual menage love affair.

All seems well; that is until Eden realises that appeasing one sexual partner is hard enough, but pleasing two becomes a challenge. Leaving her position should have been easy... And yet it was only just the beginning as consensual turns deadly when saying no is a ticket to hell, and Eden must do all she can to survive.

This book was my first read by Andie M. Long and I enjoyed it immensely. Saviour is true British grit filled with determination, strength and loyalty. Eden's plight is tough but through friendship and persistence, this book just kept giving until the very end.

A few nice little twists with good well-rounded characters, Saviour is a great read if you don't mind tackling captivity and darker themed stories. Great read!

Being sexually promiscuous and bored with her usual one night stands Eden accepts a job as a House PA. She cooks, cleans and sexually services her straight bosses. They're are open to a sexual relationship with Eden. She thinks she got the perfect job, when something is too good to be true it usually is.

At this points you know things are going too smooth sailing and you're waiting for the big WTF moment, it hits and it's more shocking than you can imagine. Read with your eyes wide open.

I absolutely love Andie M Long her books are very well written with humor and enjoyable. This book was alot different then what I was use to reading by Andie. This one was a lot darker and much more intense. But with that being said OH MY GOD did I love this book. It was well written from page 1 to the end. The characters were amazing , the storyline was all that and then some and it will grip you from the beginning and have you holding on until the very end.You just have to know what happens to the main character Eden by the end. I absolutely love the character chemistry betwen Eden and her best friend Kara. Through the whole book the chemistry is so obviously there and there is so much background and history between these two. You can see that their friendship is built to last and everything that happens in this story only builds on that friendship. This book starts out like you would except any good book. Two girls on their own just wanting to live life. Kara ends up at a night club where she has a one night stand with Xavier. A very hot steamy enjoyable one night stand. So much so that she cant get him out of her head and he cant get her out of his. But nothing becomes of it until later.
Eden decides to take a job working for a couple. There is an understanding walking into this job that it is not going to be your normal job like you or I would be getting. The interview is nothing like you would see either. But Eden likes where the interview goes and agrees to take the job. Things are going well for her for the most part. She is living life like she wanted . She has her own space and can do basically what she wants and is getting favors in return. But after being into it for a while she starts to feel that it isnt enough. She wants to get away and see her friend Kara who she was basically kept from.
Eden runs into Xavier again and shortly after that things change for her but it is not even close to being for the better. This is where the storyline gets extremely intense and dark. I will warn you that I am talking dark . Eden goes through things that no person should go through. But I will not tell you , you seriously have to read this book. During this whole thing going on with her Kara starts to worry that something has happened to her. There of course is an investigation and thankfully Eden is found safe. But for Eden this is where the story really begins because now she is dealing with everything that happened and healing. I loved this part of the story because it was well written. It really gives you the story of what she is going through trying to get herself back and deal with everything that happened to her. Eden is the strongest girl that I know at this point. She is fighting to get herself back with just the help of her therapist really. Reading through this part of the book you feel everything that Eden is feeling that is how well written that section is.
I absolutely loved how this story ended. I was actually a little surprised that it ended this way but I was glad that it did. I highly recommend this book to anyone who will enjoy a book that has a girl suffer the worse but come on so much better in the end. Alot of us have been there in one way or another I guarantee you will enjoy this book

Saviour is the best book I have read in a long time, Andie M. Long writes the best comedy I have ever read, and I loved this more than her comedy writing. I can’t recommend this book highly enough. It deals with some difficult subjects but it deals with them in a real and compassionate way. Its suitable for over 18’s only due to some of the content.
Eden Stark is a woman after my own heart, she knows what she wants and she goes for it. Sex is just a way to get the release that she needs, Eden has never had people who care for her, she was brought up in foster care, and got unlucky in that the family she had didn’t care beyond the check.
When she gets word from a friend of a friend of a job as a house PA with added benefits she jumps at the chance, she loves those extra benefits after all, little does she know not all is what is seems. When she goes missing along with her employers, have they taken her on an extended holiday? or is something more sinister going on?
Xavier Harrington was the last person to see Eden alive apart from her employers, well that’s what he explains to the police when he goes with her best friend to report her missing officially. He has a checked past himself, so some people wonder if he is trying to help find and save Eden as they once have a one night stand, or is it something darker? Is he trying to save her after he couldn’t save someone else in his life?
Despite the difficulties the characters in this book face, you can’t help but get involved and relate to them each in some small way, I related to Eden easy enough in the beginning, we both enjoyed our youth, but I also related to Xavier in that I have marks on my body and they all tell a story like his, some sad, some happy. The difficulties they face and how the over-come them are so well written that you can’t help but know this author did their research and I for one can’t wait to applaud her on a job well done.

In a way this book reminded me somewhat of this authors first book, "The Alphabet Game". The reason being this had the mystery and suspense, just like that but there's where the similarities end. As similar as it was it was also different too. In the we meet Eden, and as angelic as her name is, she is the complete opposite which works against her. When she takes a job that she thinks is the best thing ever what she doesn't count on is that it could actually turn sour and be the complete opposite. In that respect she shows her niaveity.
We also have Xavier, who is basically Eden's last fling before everything goes wrong. He's not looking for more than what they had that one night but on seeing her again after he knows that something's not right. What follows is quite a twisted story.
What I loved about this was how we got it in four parts, for me it made the story feel that bit more realistic. Yes, the things Eden goes through aren't good. Yes, Xaviers past has left a permanent mark on him BUT they both realise that what's happened can't forge how there future is, all it means is that the road ahead, although at times may bumpy, isn't impassable. This was so well written, the characters were great and there were side characters who i'd really love to get to know more of too.
Overall an absolutely amazing read!

Can a one night stand truly be your saviour?

Eden is a promiscuous young lady, looking for satisfaction. Having no real family, she isn't looking for commitment or any ties to anyone. On a night out she has a hook up that causes a spark.

Having just finished university and no job prospects Eden jumps at the chance to be a couples PA, a PA with added bonuses. When the job isn't as exciting as she hoped she finds herself googleing her one night stand, Xavier. Whilst her new employers started off nice, they then take a turn in personality, and this becomes even more apparent when she bumps into Xavier. Not wanting their new PA/pet to be around other men, Xavier is the last person to see Eden.

What follows is a dramatic turn of events in the search for Eden.

This is a traumatic story, I'm amazed every time that I read the authors stories. She is able to flirt between genres but is still able to include that touch of humour she is well known for. The author has been sensitive with her subject matter, demonstrating her research to make the story give you the feels and empathise with the characters.

I have to say something about the cover, half way through the book the pieces connected and I realised just how perfect the cover image is.

Whilst I've been brief in my description of the story (I don't want to give the whole story away), I thoroughly enjoyed it and was gripped from start to finish.

Wow, this book was so different than what I normally read by Andie Long. I'm used to the witty humor that has me laughing for pages. This book was very dark and there are very explicit scenes that may bother some.

I thought Eden's story was one of rebuilding a life that has been torn down. I loved in the book how Xavier tells Eden that his mom says that life is what you write. If you don't like your story than you change the words. Have you ever heard anything more true than that? This book was a dark story and at the heart of it is a love story, but it's more about Eden going through something so tragic and dark and coming out on the other side of it and wanting to live her life. She doesn't simply want to exist, but to write her next chapter and live. Xavier patiently waits for her to move on and together they write their story.

This book was hard to read in some parts, but the story had me glued and reading it all in one sitting. I couldn't put it down. It was very well written. It was a great read.

A tale of abuse and redemption

The scary thing about this book is the fact that things like this could happen at anytime. What happens when no one cares about a person, or maybe only one friend who thinks something is wrong, but doesn' t know what to do about it?

I loved this book. It made me, laugh, scream, and cry. I loved Eden and Kara right from the start. Their friendship was amazing. I also loved the way Xavier was brought into the story, it was beyond hot!

I didn't like Jack and Sienna at first although they were a big part of the story. They hired Eden to be their PA …plus more. That plus more was beyond hot to read at times.

I highly recommend this book. It is definitely a 5 star book for me. The writing was great, the storyline was amazing. I enjoyed this from beginning to end. This is the first book I have read by this author and I will not hesitate to one click her books in the future.
