This revised edition of 2020 contains new case files, photographs, documents and artwork. This classic book from the 1990's is re-published here due to popular demand. WITHOUT CONSENT was the first book to concentrate on accounts of alien abduction in the UK and as a result remains a classic of its kind. This unique book takes a close look at the alien abduction experience and treats it in a logical and serious manner. All aspects of the alien abduction phenomena is detailed along with a look at some of the main theories to try and explain these accounts. The book has a long list of alien abduction and missing time case histories many of which are publisher here for the very first time. WITHOUT CONSENT takes an honest look at one of the most controversial areas of UFO research and in the end leaves you the reader to make up your own mind. About the Carl Nagaitis was along standing Fleet Street journalist working on many of the UK’s national newspapers before setting up his own public relations company. This book was originally published in the 1990s, but has recently been updated and reprinted.
"Without Consent" focuses on some extremely well researched, and often shocking British-based cases of people who believe they've been abducted by aliens - although it does reference similar cases from around the world.
The authors share each case based on the evidence as presented by the witnesses, and I liked how the book offers alternative suggestions as to what may have actually happened - mass hallucinations, electro magnetic interference with the human brain, etc.
Regardless of whether you believe the people featured in this book were abducted by aliens or not, all the experiencers appear to be sane, rational, honest and normal people who have all been through some incredibly traumatic and shocking experiences.
This book is well researched, well presented and it highlighted a wealth of amazing UK-based cases that I was previously unaware of. For anyone interested in the phenomenon, this book will be a fascinating read.
Far too many of the stories rely on hypnotic regression, something the author claims to disprove of. There are lots of absurd statements made, plus the kindle edition suffers from the usual problem of being poorly transferred from paperback. It's the kind of book I would have lapped up in the 90's, when I was a lot more naive and gullible.
This book is absolutely appallingly edited. It is littered with wrong words, spelling mistakes, missing punctuation. The stories too are light on content, and the book felt repetitive.
