One Last Hail Mary attack by those on Earth goes awry when the Queen herself shows up with John Grimes along for the ride.

The Queen has a problem, and her closest friends travel to Earth to find her a solution.
It's time for an audience with the King of Yoll, and he isn't going to like the outcome. Not one bit. He has a secret he has been hiding, and those sneaky Aliens in space find out what it is, and turn it against him.
It's time to release the Queen Bitch for her final clean-up of Kurtherians - This area of the Galaxy will never be the same, again.
So grab your favorite drink, recline in your favorite chair or bed or couch, and relax for just a moment or two, because...
Bethany Anne is BACK!
**Please note, as mentioned in a review, there is flagrantly foul language in these novels. The main character does not have a problem with cussing, just uninspired cussing.

This one was still a little bit disjointed but Emily Beresford seems to have put some effort into sorting the plethora of character voices and so it was a bit easier to keep track of who was speaking at any given time.
I understand that a lot of people like all the gung-ho rhetoric but I think it, and Anderle's notion of what interests women, is cliche and tired. That said, the direction the story is going is still interesting and the characters can be a lot of fun in a 2 dimensional, take-it-like-the-fluff-it-is, kind of way.
Sometimes I think this series is the current train wreck from which I can't look away, but it's usually fun when it's not over-the-top with conservative talking points and "lets all rock the fascist dictatorship and call it concern for the planet!" I just try not to take it too seriously.
Well after a few hiccups like finding the recipes from Coca-Cola and Pepsi and stealing them I might add, they are sorting the last few things they need from Earth, before they exit their own solar system. It's kind of funny really. BA's favourite drink is Coca-Cola and her friends are worried how they will maintain her supply. Also, interesting to note is that Pepsi is banned. BA hates the stuff so they have to produce that on the black market. There's also various beers and wine recipes stolen.
Can you imagine, hey guys we are gonna kick some alien butts but we need coke. Also, some kids have found the cave housing the enemies space crafts. So Richard and Samuel (both vampires) are sent to scare them away which they do in style. Also the U.S. military are trying to find left behind technology.
Tabitha the Queens Ranger go's to the rescue of Ted a New York detective. His girlfriend has been abducted and asks for her help. She finds him cute so agrees. What happens is, it's her they want so they can get BA to come get her then incarcerate her. Oops! Wrong move. The Queen Bitch brings mayhem.
BA makes a personal visit to the White House and the names she calls the President are out of this world as it is he who drives the attack by firing a nuclear warhead at one of her ships.
So now we are ready to take the fight to the next solar system and leave Earth to it's own devices. Hope you're practicing your inventive colourful words. Still very addicted and still going. Enjoy!
It’s probably my own fault, but I am finding it more and more difficult to pick up these books and be able to follow what is going on. There are too many characters and the story is so disjointed. Then just as I think about giving up there is a section that is suddenly coherent and doesn’t jump every page and I find myself engrossed again. In this book the moment it finally grabbed my attention is when Tabitha goes to help Ted and then when the fleet leaves for Yoll. If the entire book was like this I would happily give 4 or 5 stars. I know this is the author’s style and its probably not going to change, but having already read fourteen books I feel compelled to keep going even though they are such hard work to read.
I love this series.. BA is my girl.. absolutely love her. Michael Anderle never disappoints in his books I'm enjoying every single one and can't wait for more.. Bring it on I'm ready.
OK… I usually use the star system and move on. But, Michael Anderle is as out of control as his depiction of what is happening and inability to use simple storytelling. He continues to have no idea of how to write dialogue so that’s a reader knows who is speaking. Also, the gratuitous use of vulgar language is so amateurish that it makes me cringe. The salacious language is supposed to be pointed, but it is as if a child is speaking and does not want to get scolded for the use of vulgarity by his parents. The thing of it is, though, I am so deep into these mindless pieces of Science Fiction that I am virtually addicted to an attempt to find out how it ends. The buildup to the “fight“ with the king is anti-climactic. The empress just dispenses of her opponent through trickery, and there is little or no description of the fight scene. I will continue, I suppose, to use this mindless and amateur series to act as a parenthetical pause between reading real novels with well developed characters. By the way, I read an authors note , and learned that he had actually hired an editor. There are so many poorly constructed sentences, fragments, runons, and poor punctuation that I felt like a musician with perfect pitch at a middle school concert. They jump off the page and offend sensibilities. If I could change the rating above, I would.
I am a young adult, and I realize I have been neglecting to show my huge appreciation for Michael Anderle. I read through the books to the end, which is rare for me. I have become hooked on this series. It's been less than a week and I've read 15 books from this series in addition to several related/recommended books. I am so excited that there are so many books left to read. I sound like a lunatic trying to describe What is going on in these books to my friends. First there were black government agencies then werewolves and vampires and then ALIENS!!! Then space battles. Not to mention so much badassery. Now, for the nitpicks...Sometimes the naming is crazy, like too many of the same name and learning the names of the soon-to-be-dead. Unless that is a tribute to the sanctity of life, in which case I can respect that. Sometimes even the edited versions have bits that are difficult to get through, but overall not too bad. I am really picky about thorough editing and I wouldn't have read this far if it was too bad. I wonder though, am I supposed to take a break here and see what's up with Earth right now, or should I finish and loop back? Thank you Michael and your team.
Loved this book! I seem to be saying that a lot lately but it is nevertheless true facts. This book is another fantastically written sci-fi paranormal masterpiece and at one point it gave me chills. Why, do you ask? Sometimes even reading these storylines in the these genres remind us of some very important wisdom and knowledge...and even having heard and read these words before they resonated deep in my soul this time and have given me new purpose and strength in my personal life....“Never Submit, Never Surrender.” Those are some truly remarkable and inspiring words that I needed to hear and remember right now...it's amazing how four little words can transform you! This whole book and series is about ultimately overcoming, out maneuvering, outsmarting , and rising above your challenges and having key people to help in all areas of strength and wisdom with you to accomplish that task or goal...a lesson I won't soon forget! I flove this series so hard!
Never Submit is the fifteenth book in The Kurtherian Gambit series by Michael Anderle.
Even if more than half of the boom is still focused on shenanigans dealing with Earth, before they through the Annex Gate. It mostly just that; her friends and trusted Guards and Rangers having a last hurrah before they left their home planet behind. I wonder how many years it has been since Michael passed? I’d have to fact check to see how long we have left until he finally revives, along her story’s plot line.
That Empress’ first alien encounter leads her up against a secret Kurtherian overlord hiding within the Yollins as their King? It’s just desserts. Only the first strike against their ultimate enemy.
And her plots to sell coriander oil to track Pepsi sales, is the most incredibly genius way to keep up with her detractors. Only leading me to adore Bethany Anne that much more. I can’t wait to see what other species she encounters and the mysteries that lie beyond Yollin space.
I've read almost all the books. These are so much fun!! My girlfriend gave me a kindle for Christmas last year, because she was tired of me using a headlamp to read in bed at night. After signing up for the Amazon "read till your eyes bleed" plan I found this line of books. I started with the magic series, super fantastic, then backtracked to this original lineage. Almost twelve months of super fun reading! I really like the end notes. Michael Anderle, thank you for sharing how you and others create these stories. I think it adds a huge dimension to experiencing the stories. The creation now has become part of the story. As it should. Monks painstakingly copied stories, sometimes using their own blood for ink (originating vampire stories!) just to keep a record of what was happening. These are fun, relative story lines, and I'll keep reading more!!!! Michael, tell Amazon to pay you more!
A good read. A bit disjointed but entertaining nevertheless. She is close to loosing her patience and this act (just as she is off to have a little fun) has really made her mad. A team has kidnapped a police officer's girlfriend, to capture Tabitha and thus get her. She has had all she can take. What will her reaction be and the reaction of her crew. Plus the pups are getting ready to strike out on their own but have decided to choose their own new owners. What has TOM been up up? Then there is their goodbye to Earth, passage through the gate and the challenge to the King. Will the King accept and what secrets is he hiding. Plus the war between Coke and Pepsi heats up but getting the recipes comes first. Yes it was a good read but the characters seemed to have gained experiences that we don't know anything about. Okay most of them aren't the major players but they tend to make you go - when did that happen?
This is a great beginning to the green arc in the Kurtherian Gambit series.
Bethany Anne, and all of her people, are readying themselves for the move out of our galaxy, and through the Gate to the Yollo planets, and beyond.
There are all kinds of last minute shenanigans going on before the move but, when all is done, the space armada, filled with the people of the Etheric Empire, go forth through the Gate.
As is her wont, Bethany Anne is soon creating mayhem in this new place, and it's not long before she challenges the King of Yollo to a duel to the death.
This is a good ending to the Earth portion of this story, and a great beginning for Bethany Anne and her people, to start their search for the baddy Kurtherains.
I'm now totally addicted to reading these books, and haven't a clue how long it's going to take me to read every single one in the KU - but I love that there's new ones appearing, even as I go on to the next book on my list!
I have been very remiss in leaving review because I can't wait to start the next book. The books are so closely related it's like you turned the next page. I have loved this whole series even the cooperative efforts. I don't see a big change in techniques. The Kurtherian Gambit series is novel fast paced. I don't have any problem with the cussing. I think any middle school student interested in science and technology would love the whole series. I remember what I was reading at that age. Cussing is minor. Any way, I digress the series is well crafted characters evolve. It is worth reading the series in order. I would suggest more prompts as to what story goes where as your Universe grows. Thanks for staying with Amazon Prime. Those of us on fixed incomes it really helps.
I loved this one. The entire fleet made it through the gate - unfortunately it was destroyed. Of course the Yoll military lied when they told the fleet they had safe passage though their space. One huge battle later, the Yoll attack force was pretty much decimated. The plan to issue the challenge of battle to the death is given to the king. What transpires is very informative and so Bethany Anne when she’s angry lol. This is another one that had me laughing out loud in places. Don’t get me wrong…I love all the action scenes. But these funny scenes I can picture in my head and I can’t help but laugh. I think this is one of the best series I have read that didn’t involve zombies!
I love the fact that even side characters are interesting people. As you read this series events from prior books keep coming up and a person from that story or a person affected by the events of that book will make an appearance and make you wonder more about their stories. The U.S. Squared sounds like it is full of interesting people and stories. The Pepsi and Come wars is hilarious (as well as the results of the final result). The most surprising part is the twist i did not see coming in the challenge, the different forms of one of the 5 and one of the 7 is also interesting....
I almost was going to be finicky when I read the "talking smart looking for their mates ? Puppies " ? . Then I reminded my bad side that I read about vampires and series . I know , right .? Again a story by Michael that one can read with total confidence that one will totally love it . I think , Michael , if your head broke open we would see stories , words and balled up paper run out . Too much ? Too bad . I look soooooo forward to your stories . Never loose that great mind . Yes , I' m selfish . Lol
The difference in his writing from the first few books is striking. He said he hired an editor and it shows, but you can also see the confidence he is building with each story. I really am enjoying this series and its so hard to put down. Something is ALWAYS happening, it is non-stop action. I love Michael and Bethany Anne (yes I know they are not real:) I'm trying to get through this series and I already cheated and read the first 2 books called The Dark Messiah. Can you blame me? He had me at Michael and Messiah! Well, and aliens, vampires and werewolves.
BA always has the people in mind and bases her decisions on them going thru extraordinary lengths to find and fix problems for those who are like minded! She brings them together and gives them strength and expects unequivocal honesty and loyalty, and gets it. She doesn't have to deal with lies, spin, and embedded fictions except outside her organization. She gives choices for allegiance or the highway, and death to harm doers. To do this she has to be almost all powerful, knowing, omniscient, while caring. Thanks Michael
After all the good and positive actions of TQB in her human country of origin, her patience in dealing with all the governments of the earth attempting to steal her good works, Queen Bethany has completed her business and is ready to go. This one helps to close several open storylines, while opening others. I enjoyed Michael Anderle's comments afterward too. Looking forward to the new possibilities coming from his amazing mind.
After so many books building up to this i wasn't sure if MA could keep it up, glad to see this was true as we find out that yes we can kick an ants nest as we leave we get all those important characters going with us and we still make it to the Boss battle in the Yollins system. A page turner and a half if any and still has some great jokes in those pages.
It's book #15 in this series and one thing is certain in each book, again and again. And that is the fact that you will never know what is going to happen in the story. They're all well written, interesting characters, intriguing stories, and books that you don't want to put down until the end. Oh, it's also got a kick-ass sense of humor and a creative potty mouth. What are you waiting for? ✋🐺
This is by far one of the most enjoyable books I have read. There is a neet flow from one area to the next, where one could become lost that didn't happen. Don't forget us who are over sixty five who enjoy your series. Magic is good as another series has shown. Keep it up, I hope to be reading many more stories.
I couldn't wait to find out how they left earth and what happened. I waited it seems likes forever but I wasn't disappointed, Five stars t9 author Michael Anderle for a great series and so much more. I can't wait to find out what happens next. I loved the fight scenes and the language lol.....
I wish I could go into the future just so I wouldn't have to keep waiting for the next book. This whole series and its tie ins have been such an exciting read. Great work and I can't wait to see what happens next!
Also for the record I fall into the age range you would consider YA so while I can't say there are more than me you have at least one YA hooked!!
I really liked that the transition through the gate occurred within the book, instead of at the beginning of a new book. There is still so much more to come, of course, but wow! The start in the Tollin’s part of space was definitely exciting and a little surprising!
