For aspiring journalist Harlow Ransom, life is just a well-oiled machine, and if she plans well, all things will go accordingly. And that is exactly why Harlow lives her life by perfectly polished to-do lists that she refuses to stray from—even when she's celebrating her 21st birthday in Sin City.

1. Visit the Boom Boom Blues Lounge
2. See the water show at the Bellagio

Things can't possibly go askew if she crosses things off her list one by one. But after a night of celebrating leads to waking up in bed with a sexy stranger and a ring on her finger, Harlow realizes that in no point in time did she ever have "Get Married" on her trusty to-do list. Yet that's exactly what she did.

Professional snowboarder Trace Stone loves a good challenge—he's all about the win. And this time, he's going to find a way to win over the feisty, meticulous Harlow. The wedding may have been spontaneous and impulsive, but when he said "forever," he meant it. Now, the only thing he wants on Harlow's to-do list is him—from this day forward.

I loved this book! The hero is amazing! He's charming, witty, sexy and made me laugh!
Book boyfriend for sure!

Trace and Harlow.......

Oh. My. God! I loved this book! I had never read anything by this author before so I didn't know what to expect. I chose to read it because I have a soft spot for the 'one-night stand/wakes up in Vegas married' trope. Hitched was one of the best in that trope I've ever read. I totally recommend it if you love rom com.

So Harlow is a college student. She is a bit stuck-up and very set in her ways. Her reasons for her attitude will reveal in the story. Harlow will not let anything or anyone deviate her from her well laid, carefully thought out plans for her future.

Not even a marriage.

Not even if that marriage was to one of the sexiest men she's ever laid eyes on.

Trace Stone is a pro snowboarder and has been getting ready to return to the snow after healing from a serious injury. Trace and Harlow meet in Vegas and spend one night together dancing, drinking, having sex and well.....getting married apparently.

Trace isn't ready to annul the marriage even if Harlow insists. He feels a strong connection to her and wants to get to know her better.

Harlow isn't having any of that. She wants her annulment and to continue planning and working towards her future. A future that does not include a husband.

This book is not only sexy and sweet; I was laughing non stop. It's not too often I find a hero like Trace. He was fun and funny. Trace was so sweet to Harlow. And I loved him even more for his incredible patience persistence and understanding with her.

I'll say this.....Harlow was not easy to like. As I got to understand her better, and by the end of the book, she somewhat redeemed herself to me.

Trace was the second Stone brother to have a book. I haven't read his brother Huck's story but I definitely will. This book was amazing! I absolutely loved it! All the 'feels' were there. The writing flows well in a nice steady pace and I hated the times I had to put my Kindle down.

*I voluntarily read and reviewed an advanced copy of this novel. My opinions are honest and unbiased.*

Very entertaining!

Hitched was the first novel I read by the Christine Manzari and the second book in the Hearts of Stone series. I can be read as a standalone.I chose to read this novel because I have a soft spot for the “waking up married’ trope. I didn’t know quite what to expect, but I loved the dialogue and relatable characters.

Gosh, Trace was such an entertaining hero! Not only was he so sweet, but sexy and charming. The witty banter between this couple put a smile on my face, plus the chemistry and sexual tension were explosive.

It was a funny and sexy New Adult, I was hooked from the start. Hitched put a smile on my face and I had fun reading it! I’ll look for more books by the author.

You may or may not know by now that I'm a HUGE FAN of Christine's first NA contemporary, Hooked . I read it back in January 2015 and it was one of my favorite books from all of 2015. I wanted so badly for her to continue writing in that world, so you can imagine how excited I was when I got a message from her asking if I'd be interested in reading Hitched, the second book in her Hearts of Stone series. Obviously I said yes and jumped into the book as soon as I could. And guess what? I LOVED IT.

The setup for this novel was fun: good girl goes to Vegas with friends and lets loose. In fact, she lets go so much that she not only hooks up with a guy she meets there, she marries him! What she doesn't know at the time — and for a long time afterwards — is that he's a famous snowboarder. But, I'm getting ahead of myself. The most important thing to note is that they had an immediate connection and tons of chemistry. I mean, there's obviously something there if you're going to run off and get married. Of course, Harlow freaks the next morning and runs back home. Thankfully Trace decides to chase her. And that? That's all I'm going to tell you about this story. You can discover the rest for yourself as you breeze through this book.

Hitched was a fantastic read from the very first pages. I loved Harlow and identified with her "good girl"-ness and her list making. Trace wasn't at all the guy I thought he was during Hooked. He was sweet and hot and completely determined to get Harlow to recognize what they had was real. I loved how he pursued her and how he pushed her when she needed it most. So, yeah, I adored Trace as well. I understood why Harlow was holding back, but he was so amazing that I just wanted to smush them together and tell her to get over it and jump in with both feet.

While Harlow and Trace had an unconventional start, I loved when they pulled back and really started to get to know each other. Reading along as they went from friends to lovers — all while still being married to each other — made me smile. It was great to watch things develop between them. I swooned over the romance and fanned my way through the sexy times. (SO HOT.) There were also plenty of laughs along the way... and maybe a few tears, even. (No maybe. Totally tears. I'm a sap.) Hitched was the total package and I loved every single page. I already have grabby hands for the third book, Hated. It just can't get here soon enough.

Hitched can absolutely be read as a standalone. Of course, I think you should read Hooked first if for no other reason than it's absolutely amazing and still one of my favorite NA contemporaries. So, get on that if you haven't already. :) For those of you who have read Hooked, you'll definitely want to pick this one up. It's a great follow-up to a wonderful book and not only will you find new characters to love, you'll get some feels from favorites Huck and Cat, too.

I received a copy of this book for free in exchange for an honest review. This does not affect my opinion of the book or the content of my review.

FAVORITE QUOTES
One night. One girl. And I could feel it deep in my bones. I was addicted.

I wasn't the crazy girl who chased guys and a good time. I wasn't the bad girl who drank until she passed out. I was the girl who aced classes and killed the fucking bell curve.

"You can keep running, Harlow. But I was made to race. And I like to win. I was born to win."

"I'll be your dirty secret again tomorrow if you give me tonight."

"You think I can't tell what you sound like when you're ready to be fucked into next week?"

Things that make me happy:
1. Harlow.
2. Trace.
3. A Vegas Wedding.
4. Very very determined characters.

This book was so fun. I giggled and swooned my way through each page.

I felt like on some level I really understood Harlow. She was so goal oriented. She wasn't quite cold, but her focus was so sharp.

Trace was *fans self* the hero we always want. He's determined and kind and lighthearted at the same time. He just is all of the things.

I absolutely adored this read. It was a first from the author for me, but won't be the last.

This was my first trip into the world of Christine Manzari, and boy did I enjoy the ride! Harlow Ransom is very singular in her goal oriented life as an aspiring journalist. She lives by perfect to do lists that she won't stray from for any reason. Harlow believes that even celebrating her 21rst birthday in Vegas needs a list, so she can check things off. However, life doesn't always go by a list, so when she wakes up with a ring on her finger, she has no idea how it ended up there. Trace Stone, a professional snowboarder, never shies from challenge, and he's always in it to win it. But the stakes are higher than before, as he's determined to win over the feisty, perfectionist Harlow. I have to start with this is where the fun really begins, but I'm not giving anything else away. Hitched is the funniest read that kept me laughing until my sides hurt badly. Lately, I've been reading a ton of suspense stories, and I LOVE those, but what a treasure of a sexy and super fun read (yes I can't reiterate the fun part enough) that I had the opportunity to read, to make my day full of laughter. The witty banter by itself was a perfect rating, but add in a hero that isn't a bad boy, but loveable with patience of a saint, it only gets even better. Christine Manzari has a light, and very talented writing style that held 100% of my attention cover to cover, and I found myself devouring it before I would even get up to eat. I'm so very glad that I read this amazingly fun, and highly addictive read, and I cannot wait to read more by this awesome author immediately! Bottom line, HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND Hitched to all!

A book I could NOT put down.. I do love the romance novels! The storyline was very interesting and kept me on the edge of my seat the entire time. I had to force myself to stop reading to get some sleep or I would have kept reading until the book was done. Christine's stories are very easy to picture in your head as your going thru the story and it keeps you interested thru the end. I must admit, I never want the story to end! I am looking forward to book 3 of the series...Hooked was also a hard book to put down... I'm 100% confident book 3 will be as well.

I am absolutely loving this series. Seriously I am completely hooked on Manzari writing style at this point. Though I have to admit, I preferred Hooked more, I still find myself saying this was a damn good read. Once you get started on these, seriously there is no putting them down until you finish.

From the start I loved the main characters, which is exactly what I love about Manzari writing style. Her characters up to this point have been the perfect blends, the perfect personalities – the total package. Harlow for one is definitely an interesting catch. Mixed with her inability to show connections mostly because of her ambitious attitude, she is in control of her life yet she is flawed. One particular is her compulsion for list making to keep her on the right track. She is clumsy and sweet, so many times I could see myself through her, she is basically the easiest female lead to connect with, utterly relatable.

Then there is Trace. Oh bloody hell – Trace. Mouth watering, sexy as hell, witty and cocky piece of man meat in full fictional form. He has the perfect athletic tool persona yet is a closet sweet heart. As a reader you are left swooning over his every move. Trace is a definite charmer. This is definitely parts of the reasons I enjoyed their characters chemistry. After their night of flirtation that leads to more drinks than needed, waking up to realize a mistake – it is fun potential where my expectations are met. Majority of the book is them getting to know one another, building a relationship from what started out as a drunken night in Vegas. Super fun. Not to mention when they collide it is nothing but fireworks.

Although I loved their chemistry, Trace was definitely my favorite aspect of the novel it was Harlow who made some areas little lack luster. I loved her and I hated her. During the build of their relationship I felt that because of Harlow’s guarded personality, at times she became somewhat rude and well, quite frankly a bitch. Her childish attitude made me cringe with how she treated Trace at times. I understand it was the purpose of the writer to add to the drama filter of the plot, but at times the hot and cold of Harlow really made some spots in the novel little less than enjoyable; really took away from the build up of their chemistry. I am not saying I need everything to be rainbow dust and unicorn snot the entire way, but at times the attitude of Harlow mixed with the chemistry build made their relationship seem more forced, less enjoyable.

Aside from my slight pet peeve for one character, there are also some really neat toppers to the chapters that I really enjoyed. There are little articles that kind of give you a feed or foreshadowing of what is to come in the current chapter. They presented like news articles. It ranges from Trace’s career or choices while Harlow is more through her thoughts. It was sweet, adorable and downright hilarious.

In a nutshell, I adored this novel. Hitched was perfect blend of all things wonderful, sweet and adorable with a dash deep emotional digs and steamy sex. Definitely a solid read – easy flow and enjoyable. I highly recommend diving into this series. This is my first series I have read of Manzari and quite honestly I have been loving it. I cannot wait to finish Hatred as well as dive into her YA Series. Definitely a must read.

This was my first book by this author and I had no idea what to expect going into it. The blurb had me for sure, I mean who can resist the whole crazy partying and ending up married in Vegas story? Well not me and this couple had me hooked. I experienced so many emotions while reading this book. I wanted to strangle Harlow on many occasions but if you think about it and not let all your emotions take over you'll realize why she is the way she is. Doesn't make it easier to swallow especially for Trace.

Harlow and Trace come from different backgrounds and couldn't be more different. She is the good girl, study hard and think about her future to the point of being obsessed. She is the list maker and can be quite neurotic so needless to say this marriage is one that is throwing her world in a tailspin.

Trace wasn't going to do anything about the situation he awoke to but he can't get her out of this mind. He is supposed to be training to get ready for the season, especially after his injury but with Harlow running through his mind he is determined to get his woman. He will have his hands full that's for sure.

I highly recommend this book and I really, really want to read the first in this series now. I hope that there will be more of this series in the near future and will definitely keep my eyes out for more!

Oh my gosh this book was so good , I haven't read Hooked yet but after reading one scene that involves the couple my click finger got itchy and now book one in the hearts and stones series is in my kindle so yay and I can not wait for the next one . Loved the characters Harlow and Trace were the perfect couple they had witty banter , the attraction between them was off the charts hot the sex scenes were super steamy , and even though they were completely different from one anther they just fit together . I liked Harlow she was clumsy , with unique quirks , had a crazy cat , the relationship she has with her sisters and dad was awesome , and I kinda had a little teeny tiny dislike for her but only in the beginning when should would push the hero away . Loved Trace everything about him was laveable he was funny , adorable , perv , dirty talker sex god , and he never gives up the heroine when she pushes him away . This book drew me and I could not wait to see how it ended prepare to laugh , cry , fan yourself , and swoon Christine Manzari did an amazing job with Hitched and can't wait to read more of this authors work .

Fun and Games with Trace and Harlow.....

HITCHED is the second novel in Christine Manzari's Hearts Of Stone series. Having not read any of her books before I was unsure of what to expect, but I should never have been worried. It was a wonderful Romantic/Comedy and one that I would thoroughly recommend to those readers who love this Genre.

Harlow Ransom is a college student who is extremely set in her ways - until that one night in Vegas. Trace Stone is a professional snowboarder who has just recovered from a serious injury and is just getting prepared to return back to comptetion. One meeting, one night in Vegas and one marriage.

This was a fantastic book to read with numerous funny situations and predicaments that should keep you laughing for most of the way through it. The character development was a delight to watch, both being hard-headed and determined to resolve their situation in the best and easiest way possible - even thought their ideas are coming from two very different directions. The banter between the two was brilliant and constantly had me laughing out very loudly.

I thoroughly enjoyed this book, it was lighthearted ad flowed with exceptional ease. It held my full attention from beginning to end. Now I am definitely going to go back and read book one in the series, HOOKED, and then any other that may come after it.

What happens in Vegas doesn't stay in Vegas for Harlow Ransom and Trace Stone. When Harlow goes to Vegas to celebrate her 21st birthday with her sisters she ends up at the Bellagio fountain and meets Trace, a guy who makes her say yes when she is used to focusing on her studies. A night of fun and pleasure leaves them both waking up with a band on their ring fingers and sends Harlow running. When Trace is set to return to training for the X-Games 2017 and back on his snowboard he finds himself unable to focus and needing a change of scenery so he heads back east and hunting down his runaway wife. The lengths he will go to to win Harlow over are sweet and perfect. Harlow tries to resist Trace, but there is something about him that keeps her coming back for more. Even when there are misunderstandings these two are meant to be. I loved this book from Christine Manzari. I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

I received an arc of this book and am voluntarily reviewing.

I thought the juxtaposition of the two main characters was a fun thing to do on Manzari's part. Harlow lives her life by lists. Even her 21st birthday requires a list so she can have optimal fun. However her lists could not predict Trace Stone. He lives life freely and is determined to win her over.

The banter back and forth between the characters kept the story moving. The overall flow of the book was at a great pace. Manzari really understands how to write comedy and I could not stop from laughing at certain parts.

If you're a fan of characters who don't get along at first ending up in funny situations, and loving each other then this is the perfect book for you!

* I received an ebook from the author but it in no way influences my opinion or review. *

I have read all of author Christine Manzari's books and each time that I think I have found a favorite, she wows me with the next one! This book was an epic love story that starts out with both the reader and the characters having absolutely no clue that their lives are about to be flipped around and turned inside out. The author takes the reader on a roller coaster ride that starts out at 60mph and never slows down. The reader can't possibly figure out what is going to happen since it almost seems as if the author wasn't sure either....and that is the best kind of book in my opinion.

The characters of this story are instantly lovable and relatable by the reader. Harlow is NEVER without a list....she makes a list for every aspect of her life and she needs the routine, the stability and the checking off of things to make her life run smoothly. She has a regimented father that she feels that she can't disappoint and 2 step-sisters who want her to let loose. Harlow decides that on her 21st birthday she will do just that....but as we all know "What happens in Vegas, stays in Vegas..." except a marriage to a man that she doesn't know but actually enjoys and could learn to love if she didn't already have set plans for her life.

Trace Stone is trying to come back from an accident that may cost him his snowboarding career and has no intentions of finding a girlfriend, let alone a wife, but a drunk night in Vegas changes everyone's plans. He makes some changes that he didn't think he was capable of and decides that he really does want to stay married. Now he just has to change her mind and her list to include him.

The reader can't help but zoom through the pages of this book - and once they get to the end they start reading it all over again because they have to see what they missed the first time around. It is a fun read, an exciting read and one that instantly becomes the readers favorite (so far) by this author! Don't miss out on any of author Christine Manzari's books - they are amazingly good!! Sit back and enjoy this one, because you are in for a wicked good ride!

This is the first time I have read any of this authors work, and I am questioning myself as to why it has take me so long. This is the second book in the “Hearts of Stone” series, but each book is a standalone. I loved Harlow and Trace, and the intense chemistry and attraction they had for each other. No spoilers from me through, you really need to read this series for yourself!
This author has done an amazing job with this story, which is fun, has witty banter, and lots of love. I was hooked and intrigued throughout, and I will be 1-clicking the 1st book ASAP. I recommend this authors work for all readers, and look forward to reading more of her work.

So freaking hilarious, it will have you laughing out loud at the madness! Couch cat is my favorite character even though I hate cats, this one causes more accidents and injuries that it's way too funny!
The story how Harlow got the cat is epic! Enough about the cat though. She marries an professional snowboarder without even realizing it. He's a dream! Swoon! I mean who moves across country to follow someone you barely know. Trace that's who! He's persistent and stubborn, but not near as stubborn as Harlow. He is a little sneaky too. Their first official date is a meet the parents he sprung on her! I was cracking up left a right through the entire book. It's a definite must read!

You know when you are on a roll of good books and you worry that the next book might not live up to your high expectations? Well this book not only lived up to then but passed them.

I know you think you have seen this book before or ones like it - strangers marry in Vegas etc but I promise you this story will throw in a few twists, add in a super sexy not to mention understanding leading man and you will be taken on a very funny, sexy and emotional ride.

These two characters were made for each other and even when Harlow frustrated me by not just falling at his feet (I would have) I still related to her and couldn't be too mad.

This is the first book I have read from this author and I loved it and will be back for more.

I enjoyed this book, though not as much as the first one, Hooked. I liked Trace but I kind of had a hard time seeing what he saw in Harlowe. She was kind of horrible to him and just pretty selfish. BUT I’m glad she realized it in the end!

I can’t even begin to tell you how embarrassing it is to totally fangirl over someone you interact with on social media…but I’m totally about to do it. If you’re new to my blog, you’ll quickly learn that I have very little to no shame. So…without further ado, I will now proceed to fangirl. Christine (aka Xenatine) please don’t file a restraining order…

THIS BOOK WAS AMAZING! My second 5 star read in a 24 hour period. Hitched was absolutely impossible to put down. Trace was everything I want in a man – sexy, driven, witty, a little too cocky for his own good, and miraculous in bed. The total package ladies. Unfortunately for us, he’s taken (and fictional, but we can glaze over that).

Harlow was an interesting character. She had commitment issues, sure, but not for the cliched typical reasons. She didn’t have an abusive father or exes who cheated, she was ambitious and scared to let anyone in because of it. As someone who is immensely career driven, she was impossibly easy to connect with.

To make this book even more fun and wonderful, little news articles began each chapter, either detailing Harlow’s thoughts or Trace’s career. It was a unique way to give the reader information and a lot of the articles had me chuckling.

My Takeaway: I’d stay longer and gush more about this book, but I just bought Hated and am DYING to jump right in. Just trust me – Hitched is sexy, fun, deep and absolutely a must read. I can’t wait for more of Christine’s books!

Oh my gosh...another Manzari book I couldn't put down! This book was steamy, had me seriously laughing out loud numerous times & characters who I want to be friends with in real life!! I always love the depth that Manzari gives to her characters & how strong her female leads are - Harlow was no different. Let's talk about Trace - he is definitely another new book boyfriend...hot!!! Absolutely a must read!!!

I LOVED Trace and Cat... but Trace and Harlow... swoon. This book has everything I need in a romance novel. Steamy hot scenes (hello!) and humor (Couch Cat! Buzz!) are some of what Manzari does best, but what always strikes me are the depth of her characters. They are real, flawed, and unique. Being a fellow Marylander, I love the local references, as well!

If you want a swoon worthy contemporary romance, where the characters are real and unique, then looked no further. Although I liked Hooked better than Hitched, both are not your typical "she's flawed and he is too" kind of romance. The characters are flawed, but in a realistic, every day kind of way! Oh yeah, the sex scene are definitely hot!

I love woke-up-married romances as a rule, but this one wasn't an all-time favorite just because Harlow was such a frustrating character. In fact, there were big sections of the book when she was unlikable just because she was making up stupid reasons not to be with her husband, who was a really great guy and was doing all the heavy lifting in the relationship.

I really enjoy reading this book from the start, their wittiness hooked me.
On the first book i don't have good impression of Trace but he prove me wrong here, he's a great guy, driven, gentle, passionate, and could be cocky just like his brother xD
Harlow is a sweet, independent, and hardworking girl. Through some personal experience she doesn't think she want or even need someone as her significant other, but Trace slowly but surely made her wondering her decision.
It's a sweet story, not just in romantic way but family-sweet especially how Harlow's father act around Harlow and her sisters, also like the first book you'll see some solid friendship too here.
And Harlow has cat as a pet! same like Cat in book one, but i haven't read many book with cat as characters pet so i'm just excited as cat lover. really not important detail from me, sorry.
I would definitely read the next book once it's out.

Book 5 of my "get trashed and married in Vegas" binge read. I love GR lists sometimes you get on a roll with a theme...

This one had the ideal amount of push/pull when it came to chasing down the annulment. I loved how the heroine had no clue who the hero was. The last book I read had that similar vibe but with Hollywood style fame not sports fame.

I loved the heroines sisters and dad along with the heroes family too - the support cast was great. The dating for her articles was perfect along with just the right amount of angst to keep the pace going.

Unfortunately the second book in the Hearts of Stone series has the same issue for me as the first did…. I can’t stand the female main character. Echoing my thoughts on the last review, love a strong woman and a good pursuit by the male hero, but this was just annoying. Harlow was so self involved that she never even thought to ask Trace, or even her sisters, about their own interests, majors, school or work. It’s a shame that I dislike the female characters so much bc the guys Christina writes are excellent.

As expected I couldn't put it down and didn't sleep much this weekend because of it!!

I found myself excited to see what Harlow was going to do and how trace was going to sway her next. I love that I didn't have to wait for the sexy stuff! This book was so fun and had the ending that you're rooting for, I just loved it!

This series just keeps getting and better . I thought Trace was a horrible person in Hooked, (Hearts of Stone # 1), after he betrayed his brother, Huck. But we get to see another side when he meets Harlow in Vegas and they wake up married to each other. That may seem romantic at first, but what they don't know about each other may just end the relationship before it begins!

Took me a loooooong time to finish this cause it felt too slow at several parts, but I ended up liking it. It was alright. I liked the Hero, Trace, more than I thought I would, and I loooooved the Heroine.
