This is a great story of an older man, Killian, and his younger ex-stepdaughter, Dusty Rose. Killian was married to Dusty’s mother but the two developed a great relationship based on trust and love: they became best friends. Dusty trusted Killian with everything she was feeling and learned that she could talk to Killian more than she could her own mother. They have lived together in the past and did not have a romantic relationship until she was of age. Dusty was the pursuer of their relationship and Killian tried his best to deny his feelings for her. Killian is quite protective of Dusty and finds himself in the protective, possessive alpha male role in her life. He does what it takes to protect her and make sure her dreams come true. Dusty is a virgin and has decided that the only one she wants to lost it to is her best friend, Killian.
The story is sweet, hot and full of great scenes. I loved Killian and felt he was the best part of this story. There was a little drama to add to their difficult romance but it was just enough to add to the story and not take anything away. I loved their HEA and the ups and downs of the story. It was well written and left this reader completely satisfied. I received an ARC and am leaving a voluntary review.

I don't know. I think I would have given it a 3 stars has there not been that whole misunderstanding to the extent that he would be out for that long. Otherwise the heroine seemed very immature a times.

I really enjoyed this story of an older man, Killian, who falls in love with his step-daughter Dusty. Unfortunately that attraction lands him in jail when one night he refuses her and she tells her "boyfriend" and her mother finds out and presses charges. Upon his release he has a restraining order against her but can't deny himself because he still loves her and wants to protect her. Dusty still loves Killian and now that she is older, when she sees him again she can't deny her love and want for him.
I really enjoyed the story and Killian but not Dusty so much even after everything that they both had gone through she was still immature and only wanted what she wanted w/o thinking about the consequences. It was like she never grew up and was a spoilt brat only thinking of herself but Killian's character made up for that. Told from both POV's which I love in a book.

This is definitely not the kind of book for everyone. If you get offended or are uncomfortable with step-dad/daughter books this probably isn't the book for you.
Killian has served his time. Now he's a free man, but the only reason for him to live is off limits to him. That's the only rule he has to follow, but all those rules go out the window when he discovers his love isn't being taken care of like thought.
Dusty Rose's life fell apart when Killian went to prison. But he's back now and trying his hardest to take her away from the life she's living. But what's a better life if the man she loves can't be with her?
Such a great story! However, I really could've done without Dusty Rose being so whiny. I enjoy reading stories that are older man/younger woman, but I can't stand when the woman acts like a little child instead of the adult she is.

Good
It was a good short book the characters were good. Dusty Rose annoyed me a lot so whiny if the male was a bad character this book would have gotten 3 ⭐️⭐️⭐️ instead I’d 3 1/2 ⭐️⭐️⭐️✨. Because it was short it was rushed didn’t have flow. I’ve read a lot of short reads and the right authors know how to make it flow event to event smoothly not choppy. The steamy scenes were just okay. It was just Good that’s it. #Bookaholic

Killian and Dusty Rose have a rocky relationship, but they are in love. Killian is really intense. He went to jail for a while because of Dusty, but it didn't stop him from finding her again. It seems everyone is out to get them, but then they find a way to be together away from it all. This was such a sweet story! I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

love me some daddy books...this read want anything spectacular I always enjoy the wanton younger heroine and the hero's obsession. The characters were alot stronger than the storyline for me. In fact it made no sense but it was smut and not the worst I've read by far, I liked it.

"The only man that's ever existed for me." - Dusty Rose
This is an intensely sexual (bordering on pornography) written shorter story about an honorable man, Killian who had so much of a soft spot for a neglected 14 year old girl, he married the mother for the sole purpose of caring for this sweet, precocious girl, Dusty Rose. He was an honorable man. He was also blessed with charm and movie star good looks...oh and a killer body in every respect. As Dusty Rose grew into her teenage years, she found herself in her burgeoning sexuality desiring a sexual relationship with her sexy, attentive and attractive stepfather. And certainly there was little love lost between Dusty Rose's mother and Killian.
Killian kept himself in check the entire time Dusty Rose would literally throw her body at him and fondle him in blatantly sexual ways. Her immaturity was injurious to Killian. Because of his rejection of her sexually out of honor and her welfare, she lied about Killian having a sexual relationship with her.
Killian was sent to jail, lost his billion dollar company and spent two years in jail dreaming of Dusty Rose. After his release, his intentions were still of only watching over her from a distance insuring she is well and cared for. Dusty Rose was punishing herself by working as a server in a low-rent strip club, holding on to her virginity and pining for her true love Killian.
When Killian is released from jail, she is of age but conditions of Killian's parole put him in jeopardy if they are seen together. Despite the danger, they take some chances and find a way. Dusty Rose still acts quite immature and almost unbelievably horny all the time. No need to seduce her or him for that matter. Just put them in the same room and bam they're going at it...And I suppose a little seduction between the two is what I sensed was missing in this short novel.
The melodrama or angst was created by outside influences...outside threats. The sex while descriptive and hot became a bit of a sexual overload.
So while you do have that "sweetest taboo" element going on to satisfy your sweet tooth for erotica, you may also overdose on the sugar high that is this novel.

Dusty Rose's age was not the problem...Dusty Rose, the spoiled, selfish teenager, was my major problem with this story. Kilian's obsession didn't make all the sense, but she is young, nubile, untouched...things our culture encourages men to acquire. But the story suffers from lack of characters' developing...their changes are superficial, and it's a wonder that at no point, does this rich man get a chance to "confront his victim," aka Dusty Rose. At some point, someone would have asked her...or else his defense team was criminally inept. I love age gap/daddy stories, but they need more plot and characterization in order to be good.

What an amazing read. This book is very intense, heartbreaking, heartfelt and Hotter than Hot. Dusty comes across as a spoiled little brat at first until you get further into the story. Killian did nothing wrong in the beginning, and I got so mad for what his ex and business partner did to him. The ending was perfect for them. I highly recommend the book.

Then as she got older, she developed a crush on him was trying to tempt him to sleep with her. Killian loved Dusty but he knew it was wrong to have sex with her and she was under-aged. However lies were told and he ended up in jail for supposedly sleeping with Dusty. The whole time he was in jail, all he could think about was Dusty who he tried to provide for before he left. Now he is out of jail and on parole on conditions of no contact with Dusty.
However the temptation is too much and he tries to check on her. He watches his old house and never see her. He checks out the college where she was enrolled but she dropped out after one semester. Finally he finds her as a server in a strip club. He is angry and wants to make things right.
Dusty misses Killian. He was both a protectshe said to a friend. She feels she betrayed him. After he was in jail, her mother disowned her and kicked her out of the house. She could only support herself by being a server in a strip club. Then one night Killian comes in and Dusty is thrilled. She feels that now she is older, they have a chance to be together. Was an ok read young girl older man HEA ending
This was an ok read. I didn't feel a strong connection to the characters. There were a lot of fantasies in the beginning. I would like to read more by this author. HEA ending. Ex-step daughter and daddy taboo.

When released from jail, Killian is warned that he must never contact the one reason he was in jail in the first place. Rejected by her mother time and again, Dusty Rose is working in a strip club to pay her bills. When a blast from the past tells Killian that Dusty Rose isn't as well off as he thought she was when he was incarcerated, what lengths will he go to find her again? Will they finally find out the entire reason on why Dusty Rose's mother turned him into the police?
Another hot Savannah May book in my opinion. I'm a sucker for forbidden step-daddy romances and this one was perfect with the right amount of twists and turns! I was really happy that even though he hated where she worked, he continued to go back there to see her each night knowing it could get him thrown back into jail. All the questions I have were answered and thats a big thing with books like this! I was really happy to learn the ENTIRE reason that he was put into jail and that we weren't left guessing! Great book and cannot wait for more from this author!

Dusty & Daddy by Savannah May is spicy emotional DD/lg romance. Readers won’t want to put it down and will not have to since it is such a quick read. Readers must realize Dusty is very young and it shows, not in her recognition of feelings, but in the way, she responds at times. Killian loves Dusty ho she who she is inside and for him she is perfection. I am this book with 4.7 stars!

That was one surprisingly awesome story! I had to admit that I was shocked but in a good way how the story developed. It's sexy, and naughty in a very irresistibly sweet way.

This is the story of love that is looked upon as taboo, the story of how some people's jealousy, greed, hypocrisy and false sense of propriety can ruin other people's lives.
I loved the fast pace of this story and how it unraveled. I loved Killian's integrity, his restraint, his consistent denial of the young girl's advances. And I loved Dusty Rose's determination. And I loved the HEA of course.

This is a sexy, romantic and hot hot hot book, I really did not want to put it down and read it in one hit.
It is well written, fantastic storyline and I cannot praise it enough. Killian was romantic and so loving that I wanted to be Dusty Rose, who was Sassy, stronger than she came across young woman who knew what she wanted.

I enjoyed this book - a little taboo and forbidden but well written. Killian and Dusty have feelings they just can't ignore, despite others trying to keep them apart. Emotions run high in this older man/younger woman / daddy love romance. I liked the way it was written - the steamy parts were steamy and evocative, but it was really about taking risks for each other. Didn't get too deep but we got enough of Killian and Dusty to understand their love. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

This fast paced, yet flowing taboo story is fraught with jealousy, greed and deception, and will have your emotions on a roller-coaster ride. Killian is determined to stay away from Dusty, but he also wants to protect her, while Dusty's determined to be with him, will their love for each other out way everyone trying to ruin their lives? I highly recommend this read.

This was a steamy book about the attraction between Dusty Rose and her step father, Killian. What happens when attraction happens when it shouldn't? They started out attracted to each other when she was underage. After serving time, Killian is back. Dusty Rose is now over 18 but is there an sort of a future for two people with such an age difference? Enjoy their story of forbidden love and inner strength. I was drawn to their story. 4.5*

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. This story might be considered somewhat taboo but it was a great story. I loved the chemistry between Dusty Rose and her stepfather Killian. This book was well written. The story of the two and what they go through with with everyone else not wanting them to be together was so good. There are a lot of emotions involved in this book. I highly recommend it to anyone who loves a great read and doesn't have a problem with this kind of storyline.
