DON'T SHOOT THE MESSENGER

The preceding five serials were amazing. Caroline, our h, is one of my top five book heroines of all time. This book though, almost singlehandedly unraveled all the warm fuzzy feels I have toward this series.

There is much to say about the economics of writing a best-selling series, particularly if, as the author mentioned in her closing words, the characters still have something to say.

What I will say is, Triumph ought to have been a novella, cut out the 50+ love making scenes and folks, you have yourself an extended novella. Which I would still have gladly bought for $3.99.

The last book, Rhapsody, ended with a fairly obvious plot twist but one which was pivotal to the very soul of this series and the author does not disappoint in giving us a resolution, even though it left ME unsatisfied.

Another issue which I had anticipated a swift and Triumphant resolution was the battle between the Santos' regime and the rebels. I expected a battle not necessarily blood and gore, but a strategic use of available resources to completely obliterate the evil that was President Santos. The author did not deliver. That resolution was an afterthought, one that was contrived and unimaginative. No, thanks.

Should I even mention how Caroline's character did a 180? This is not the woman that endured heinous physical and mental torture. This Caroline was indecisive to an almost annoying degree. And Jack was merely a placement character doing nothing more than getting Caroline's rocks off. Prior to that, he was such an inconsequence.

Time to wrap up this rambling review.

I did not appreciate this finale and I almost wish I hadn't read it.

"Be fearless, my love."
description

Triumph is an epic and unforgettable series. The Bellator Saga is a six-book journey riddled with pain, passion, joy, fear, strength, and every single emotion in between. In this final slice of heaven, Caroline and Jack come together, and as the plot comes full circle they are forced to face their adversaries and take back their lives and America!

description
"We love our country. We want to see it restored."
When we last saw Caroline and Jack, they had finally found peace together after the torment and pain that had been inflicted on them. To be together, separated, together but apart, and now finally together in a world that is broken, their work is only just beginning. Caroline has decided to testify to attract attention and gain assistance from the world to take down the rogue President Santos and his evil regime. While interrogating an enemy, it is revealed that perhaps her children could still be alive. That single piece of hope drives Caroline to cling to Jack and persevere a little longer in order to overcome.

description
"I love you, Caroline. So goddamn much I can't even wrap my head around it."
Jack is desperate to bring Caroline safely back to a place where they can live and love and just be happy. He knows their work is not done. Before they can ride off into the sunset, they must continue the fight until they win or die trying.

description
"I wanted to remind you before it got too intense and you forgot. Keep your legs open."
Told in mostly dual POV, Triumph is utter perfection. The complex characters and their intricate relationships are displayed with precision and tenderness as each moment of the story unfolds. Caroline has been through such an extreme transformation throughout this series so, in the end, there is nothing left but awe and raw inspiration. Jack is her true counterpart displaying strength and love for his "sweetheart." The passion between the two continues to flourish and grow, and this ending installment only made me fall in love with them that much more. In addition to Jack and Caroline, the secondary characters continue to play an integral role in the plot. Specifically, Christine, Caroline's dear friend! It was quite an extra treat to bear witness to her journey and the way she has been affected by everything. With so many endearing characters, which have been through so much, this is one epic series that I will never forget.

description

Overall, The Bellator Saga is a truly magnificent series for contemporary romance fans looking for an epic love story with passion, angst, drama, and intrigue. The characters are complex, the passion and suspense drive the action throughout each moment of this journey. With a slight dystopian overtone and an unbelievable love story, Triumph is a truly spectacular ending to this unforgettable story. All I can say after reading this series is God bless America, be fearless, and when all else fails, what would JACK and CAROLINE DO?! As I finish this final review for this series, I cannot help but feel emotional about saying goodbye to these characters that have become like family to me. I am truly grateful to Ms. London for writing such a breathtaking series. Bravo Ms. London, bravo!

One Million Blazing Stars********

A truly extraordinary journey I'll never forget. Triumph was the perfect conclusion to this amazing saga. Filled with incredible characters you will miss when the final page is turned.

Triumph is my most anticipated book this year. I counted the days, stalked the author, and dreamed of once again reading the story that has been etched on my heart from the moment I read that first book. Now imagine, when it was time for me to read this book, I savored every word. I don't think I ever took so long to read a book, but this story was important, I couldn't just rush thru it, I wanted to experience and remember every single word.

Once again Caroline became a hero in my eyes, her strength, resilience and determination to fight for everything, and everyone she loves simply took my breath away. She is someone who can make you laugh and cry with equal passion within the same sentence. Chapter after chapter you are in awe of her, Caroline's character is truly inspiring. She takes you to the edge of the precipice. You love her, you hate her, you want to be her, and you become her as you feel every event of her life as your own, thanks to the magic pen of Cecilia London.

Now let's talk about Jack, "OH Jack..." What can I say about the delicious, amazing, hotter than hot, Commander McIntyre? I have three simple letters, WOW.

The way Jack loves Caroline, the way he loves his country, his conviction, and dedication to the cause that have brought him both pain and satisfaction. I simply don't have the words to make him justice, nothing I say can properly convey the powerful force that his character really is.

 photo 2A5FF17C-6DD4-4AA2-BF12-64CB2F7CF1EB_zpszgnrbcsh.jpg

What's so special about the Bellator Saga and it's stunning conclusion is that is a story that is not just about one thing; Cecilia London is just not as simple as that. This story is about friendships, power, greed, love, pain, beauty, blood and everything else in between. So many aspects that constructed this beautifully flawed story, that was never, ever, more of the same, always changing, always moving, always groundbreaking, just perfect.

I know many people feel intimidated by a story with so many books, but when you get SO MUCH from one story, you don't ever want it to end, you crave more, you want more, you obsessed with more.

 photo 0329E586-C9FE-45B4-8ECE-9B99E2C32EE6_zpsa0gb5uux.jpg

By now you've caught on to the fact that I haven't actually described in detail what this last book is about, but only because I want you to suffer, and enjoy with every word just like I did. Besides, nothing I can tell you will prepare you for what you are about read, stunning words that form a truly unforgettable story.

Once gain, Thank you Cecilia London for having bad BBQ and dreaming of these beautiful characters that have given me so much. I will never stop smiling, and I will never stop believing as long as I have these books next to my heart.

So, if you want to have your mind blown away, your heart crushed and your body temperature to rise to insane levels, READ THESE BOOKS!!!!!!!!! Just do it! Do it!!!!

It's LIVE! ★ A story of deep, everlasting LOVE ★

Spoiler Free Review -Triumph is the sixth book in The Bellator Saga. It should be read after the first five books in the series.

Oh, how I have LOVED this series.... A world of political corruption and thrilling drama forms the backdrop of The Bellator Saga, an epic six book suspenseful and fascinating story with the perfect level of angst where the relationship of married couple Jack and Caroline takes centre stage in an action packed outstanding journey of hope, courage, faith and deep everlasting, passionate love. The trajectory of their story throughout the series is nothing short of spectacular, breathtaking at times with the ebb and flow of the story arc and the incredible development of the protagonists.

Together Jack and Caroline are a force to be reckoned with. I basked in the layers and evolution of their story and the growth they went through as a couple. This series depicts deplorable scenes, it shows fear and desperation and then it brings the reader to the light, to hope, to forgiveness, to deep everlasting love, the juxtaposition attacked my sensibilities in the best way. A married couple with an intense, sexually charged relationship who totally bask in the joy of one another is an exquisite and beautiful thing to read. There were moments they tore at my heart with all that they experienced both individually and together.

Triumph marks the end of Jack and Caroline’s story and is a book fans have been longing for! It's a grand finale totally worthy of the title giving me absolutely everything I needed to feel content with the entire reading experience. The balance and tone of the narrative along with the pace and intensity is pitched to perfection to evoke emotion, ensure authentic motivation providing an addictive page turner layered with the most satisfying level of retribution that will have fans rooting for their hero and heroine whilst on the edge of their seats. I don't want to say anymore for fear of giving away plot points from the series, except one thing.... if this is a series you've been waiting to read and you love intelligently written, smart romances with thought provoking layers and authentic dialogue, then now is the perfect time to jump in! #TheSeriesIsComplete

I'll be honest I'm pretty selective with the kind of books I read, I read blurbs, I check out covers, I check out Facebook pages, I read quotes and listen to recommendations. So I'm pretty luckily in the books I read. I've read some fab ones recently and every author I love differently. That said this series, this series is EVERYTHING TO ME and this book is pure delicious it was perfect and talked to my heart in every beautiful word.

I really don't know how to review this so I'm just going to explain why it touched me, why you need to savour this series and why you need to give Jack & Caroline a chance.

This book starts right where Rhapsody finishes and to me is the icing on the cake, decisions are made, and Jack & Caroline set about in moving forward in the next step to freedom as it were.

But this book is the kind of read where you savour the memories, enjoy their moments and flourish in what's Jack & Caroline. I laughed, I snickered with tears down my eyes, I cried happy tears of joy and held my hand on my heart and kept on turning the pages.

 photo 1736504E-CB47-4136-892A-B344D5A65A3E_zpsl6y5w7vz.jpg

Ahhh Jack 'be still my beating heart' he is the Alpha hero, the protector and also the most gentle caring character I have got to know over the time I have read him. But especially in this one did he care and love his soul, put her first and just LOVE. He is of epic proportions and he is the man of the house in so many ways.

"Everything I am, everything I have is yours," Jack said quietly.

Then Caroline, the strength, the one that puts herself out there time and time again. I am forever in awe of her and her ability to keep going. They've been through so much, but boy I'm so happy I took the chance to be with them.

I think this series puts people off sometimes with the amount of books there are in this series, but listen come closer, can I tell you a secret? Ok ok THIS SERIES IS PHENOMENAL this is series is EPIC, it's about love, strength, family, friendships, forgiveness, healing, a BIG plot that has you hanging on with dear life. It's addictive, sensual and beautiful but ultimately this book is the perfect conclusion to the most amazing series and couple I took the chance to read and love for myself.

A little thank you note
**Thank you Suzanne for pushing me in the right direction to pick this up your the best, and most importantly thank you sooo much Cecilia for giving us a part of you. For giving us something special and thank you for your friendship, love you girl!!!**

That is All...

No sacrifice is too great for love.

Triumph  is the  six the and final  book in The Bellator Saga. It should be read after the first  five  books in the series.

It's LIVE!! ✯ ✯ Release Blitz ✯ ✯

How I felt for most of this story:

There were so many moments that gave me a triumphant feeling. So many incredibly awesome triumphant moments. Cecilia London truly outdid herself.

As I told the great author herself, this book was PHENOMENAL!! I went into it with extremely high expectations because TRIUMPH's five predecessors had left me in a state of high alert. I was cool but it was the calm before the storm. I had no clue how this story would play out. Would all of my remaining questions be answered? Would the resistance/rebellion gain new ground? Would there finally be an end to the political unrest caused by a corrupt president? And would Caroline and my sweet, sweet silver fox, Jack, make it out unscathed? I needed this conclusion to give me all of that and more and Cecilia London definitely delivered!

TRIUMPH picked up right where Rhapsody ended. I was immediately immersed, once again, in the tension-laden plot that had kept me on my toes throughout this series. Caroline and Jack were tireless and worked together like a well-oiled machine. They were as one with a common focus: to bring back democracy to the American people; to wrest control from the tyrannical and totalitarian power of President Santos; and to restore order, faith and value to the judiciary and congress systems.

Through previous books, Caroline has proven her warrior status. Many times over and over again. This book was no different. I also got to see glimpses of the “old Caroline”, which gave the story appropriate moments of levity. I watched her face up to the repercussions of the decisions and actions she’s made and not only come to terms with them but to start to forgive herself in the process. Through her times of reflection I had the chance to remember why I adored this character in the first place. She was loyal, just, self-sacrificing and fierce (in addition to the obvious). Ultimately she was more than deserving of the love she was surrounded by and of the unexpected reward that this plot gifted her with. I’m sorry for being vague, but I REFUSE to give away key parts to the plot.

As for Jack, my sexy and sweet silver fox… if you’ve noticed anything from my previous reviews, he gives many reasons for his praise. He’s my homie. My darling. My numero uno. He can do NO wrong in my eyes. He’s Prince Charming, a knight in shining armor, and a sexual dominant all rolled into one. Definitely my cup of tea. In this book, once again, I got to see Jack in his plethora of roles: protector, warrior, father, friend, avenger, lover, etc. I never once forgot why I loved Jack so much and this book only made that love even stronger.

Now I could wax poetic about politics or draw parallels of this storyline to the unsettling political climate that America finds itself in right now… but I won’t. In all honesty, it would be way too easy to do so and I’m a debate champion. Just one of the many skills I acquired in law school ;) I’d rather quote the author though: "Be engaged. Be involved. Question your leaders. Demand accountability. Work for justice. Most of all, be kind." I don’t think I could have said this better myself.

And I’ll even quote myself because my words from RHAPSODY can apply to TRIUMPH. This saga is "about hope, loss, family, friends who might as well be family, vengeance, revolution, honor, respect, integrity, principles, and most of all… love. So much love. And how could love ever become irrelevant?" There are a bunch of surprises in store for you when you read this book. Absolutely wonderful surprises. For those of you who haven’t officially met Jack and Caroline, I urge you to pick up Dissident. You won’t regret it. For those of you who have met them, you’re going to LOVE this conclusion to their saga.

P.S. Chrissy freaking rocked!!

Epic - heroic; majestic; impressively great
Remarkable- notably or conspicuously unusual; extraordinary
Victorious- having achieved a victory; conquering;

When a writer writes with intelligence, passion and fortitude......
When a story is complex, intellectual and emotional....
When characters are exceptional, intriguing and courageous.....
When these three intersect, an Epic, Remarkable, Victorious Saga is Born......

Triumph is the Epic Conclusion in The Bellator Saga. It is a journey of heroic heights. We are given answers, given explanations, given reasons as to how, when, where and why Jack and Caroline were set on the path they followed. Through this entire journey, the beautiful, forever, deep, passionate love story of Jack and Caroline has shined through the ashes. Without the love, servitude and commitment, their determination to right the wrongs would have fallen short. There are moments when you cheer, you cry, you hold your breath, you sigh and most of all, moments of faith in the love of these two characters to survive. The strength and passion and unselfishness of the characters drives the story to this epic conclusion.

This is a six book series. I know it seems daunting but what I want to stress, it's Fantastic. It's a political thriller that is intelligent, insightful, inspirational, loving, gripping, heartbreaking, it's everything imaginable and more. With each written word, the writer reveals emotions, desires, and motivation crystal clear. They sink into your very being for they depict the journey Jack and Caroline have traveled. It's a story that grips you and twists you and envelops you- it's politically intelligent, it's deeply emotional and it's epically epic.

The Bellator Saga has moved into my All Time Favorite Series category. I would highly recommend this series for all. It's Amazing and Wonderful!!!

6 TRIUMPHANT STARS

Writing this review is bittersweet. I don't like endings, especially to epic tales like this one. It's hard to believe the saga of one awesome couple, Jack and Caroline, is over. But, what an ending it was!

Cecilia gives us more Jack, the man I adore, simply can't get enough of! And Caroline is one unforgettable female character who awed me, angered me and amazed me. To see where they end up after a journey through darkness was fantastic and so worth the hell of a roller coaster ride.

I love the dialogue and banter between the characters, but I must say, Chrissy takes the cake! Amidst my tears, and damn, there were a lot (all good), I couldn't control myself...

This is one formidable, and at times freaking scary how art imitates life, tale that you must read! If you're one to wait for the entire series to be written to dive in, well, the wait is over. Grab these babies, hunker down for the ride of your life. It'll have you...

and

and

and

and

And when you're done and completely satisfied,

no need to thank me, just give Jack and Caroline and smooch for me!

Cecilia gives us a beautifully written conclusion to a story that stayed with me from the first word to the last. These characters and this journey is so worth the read! And re-read! I'm anxious to see what's next for this author.

Reading Cecilia London’s final installment in the Bellator Saga and knowing this was the end to one of the most powerful and memorable series I have ever read was almost painful. Deciding to open that first page and begin took me 5 minutes of staring at my Kindle before I could do it, because not only has Ms.London penned an incredible journey of love, loss and true heroics, but she has made a statement that is far too possible to ignore.

Cecilia London has taken me through hell and back as her characters watch their ‘safe’ world implode around them and their political leanings make them prime targets for a corrupt new regime that has divided and conquered America, all while hiding the depths of their political depravity from the world.

I watched Jack and Caroline’s love, family and world become a living mine field of torture and uncertainty. I was witness to the deaths of good people, found hidden heroes in the ruins of a country what was emasculated by its own citizens and new government. The separation of Jack and Caroline, the lack of knowledge of what happened to the other, the rumors of death, the realities of Caroline’s life and what she endured, of who she became while losing so much of herself, saw and felt it all, as if I were there.

My heart broke at their reunion, at the cold brutality that Jack displayed, the defiant Caroline as she was further crushed into a million splintered pieces. Her disfigurement and the scars she carried as proof of the hell her life had become, the hell she survived. And finally, I saw these two strangers find their way back to each other, changed, sadder, wiser and less trusting than before.

I learned to despise the faceless regime and the cesspool they were turning a once great nation into while I learned to respect the countless unsung heroes who dared to stand up to them and rebel.

Sometimes it is impossible to end a series that has become legendary to so many without leaving some sad, upset or lost, but Cecilia London used her enormous creative powers and brought this saga home with an incredible finale that wasn’t perfect, but it was HUMAN. It was at once heartbreaking and heartwarming knowing that, although the battle isn’t over, sometimes it’s the personal side that needs a reprieve and at least some prayers answered.

I received an ARC edition from Cecilia London in exchange for my honest review.

My Thoughts - Story
Wow…this has been some journey that I am so sad to have finally come to an end. The story of Jack and Caroline has always been in the back of my mind for so many months…that I don’t know what I am going to do now waiting between books in the series…waiting to find out what would happen next. Would Caroline find Jack? Would she survive?

The love story of Caroline and Jack has been one of my all time favorites of ANY book I have ever read and I feel that it will far surpass the books I read in the future. The story of their past and the journey they fought to re-establish it – just WOW…words can not even begin to describe.

And you know what really gets me about this series and the artistic talent that Ms. London has? Is she a prophet? Did she really see what would happen to our America in the future? Will this book really happen to us? I think this is why the final book really touched my soul.

This series has been a labor of love since I began writing it in late 2013. Over three years...and sadly, reality has come closer and closer to what I had hoped would be a warning about the rise of totalitarianism and apathy in America.

Today was the first time I considered Triumph a five star read. Parts of it have been written for years, but I had never really found its true voice. Each book in the saga has its own distinct vision, mood, and plotline, all intertwined to bring us to this conclusion.

I won't lie, there is a lot of pontificating in this book. Anyone familiar with American politics and the peculiarity of the 2016 election will recognize the shade I throw. The lectures I give. This is not meant to be my liberal diatribe, but an effort to convey the desperate situation in which our nation finds itself. I've never sugarcoated anything in this story and I'm certainly not going to change that approach for the final book.

Will you get your happy ending? Absolutely. Will it be laced with angst, some humor, and a little bit of romance? For sure. Am I sad to see this end? Yes. I don't even know where I go from here, as these characters are seared into my soul. I'll never be able to let them go completely. But for now...I hope that Triumph gives you the ending you deserve.

Jack and Caroline and I thank you for going on this journey with us.

I've loved this series from the first and it captured my attention until the end. I'm so sorry it had to end. It has it all, action, adventure, love, sexy times, sad, and everything in between. It's eerily scary how possible the events/circumstances in the book/series could become our reality.

*ARC received from author as part of blog tour*

First of all, I feel like I have to apologize to Cecilia. I received my ARC for this way before its release but I just sat on it. Yes, I was nervous about it, but more importantly, at the time this was coming out, the American current events had my attention and it was (well, it still is, at the time of writing) alarming me in so many ways. And to read the conclusion to Jack and Caroline’s story that now feels has quickly moved to meta-fiction category inadvertently, it made me more on edge.

But there’s no doubt that I would pick this up eventually, come high or hell water. Because deep down, I am dying to get to their ending, simply put.

And gosh darn… this is the epic ending that only an epic journey deserves! Unquestionably!

This picks up exactly where the 5th book ended. Caroline and Jack have gone through so much, sacrificed so much, planned so much, it all boils down to this now.

Vindication and comeuppance is what this is all about. In a perfect world, no one should get away with doing evil things. And that’s what Cecilia gave me, ie, in addition to hope.

Jack is Jack. Imperfectly perfect Jack. I love Jack! Period! The lover that he is, the husband that he is, the partner that he is, the friend that he is, the father that he is, the leader that he is, the person that he is. I love Jack!!! Oh yah, I said that already.

Caroline has definitely found her stride. To bounce back the way she did, this was her moment to shine. Caroline challenged me in the past, as she was starting to recover from that horrific time. Suffering from PTSD, I understood what was motivating her during those times, but, oh, she tried me alright. And while it’s not suddenly all rainbows and unicorns, she’s very well on her path to healing. To be dealing with that during the culmination of their valiant effort, I’d say that takes real cojones, for lack of better words…

I may have said this already before but Jack and Caroline together, they will go down in my reading history as one of my topmost fave couples. Being the powerhouse couple that they are, it’s admirable to have the moral and ethical compass like they do. Beyond that, to see the way they care for each other, the way they anchor each other, the way they live bigger than themselves and ultimately the love they have for each other was really beautiful to read. It’s so heartfelt that it hits you right in the gut.

My heart was in my throat especially towards the end. Given what they’ve gone through, you just wanted to make sure that everything goes according to plan. And while I was holding my breath, I was also hit with a poignant feeling as Jack and Caroline support each other throughout this ordeal. GAH, I love them so much!

I do have to acknowledge the other heroes in this series; these heroes, men and women alike, who surrounded Caroline and Jack. These people fought, and some even died, for their belief and to be surrounded by equally strong characters is such a pleasure to read.

Now I understand we’re living in very interesting times at this moment. I may be completely on the left field here but it did feel that Cecilia may have indulged herself a little and used parts of the stories as a bit of platform. Or maybe it’s just me projecting my own feelings. Hey, regardless, I love the message.

Lastly, as a blogger, I love the acknowledgment at the end. Just like Cecilia, I’m also thanking a friend for introducing me to this epic series. This is clearly a labour of love for Cecilia and it truly was a treat to read. This whole journey for Caroline and Jack was creative, emotional and encouraging. I cannot be any gladder I had the opportunity to read this.

So for that, thank you from the bottom of my heart, Cecilia!

5+ "Be fearless, my love." Stars

The long awaited, epic conclusion to Jack and Caroline's saga. Cecilia London once again regales us with the beauty and brilliance of her story telling. Triumph gave me everything I needed for these characters and this story. A truly must read series.

When you think of epic in regards to stories The Bellator Saga should most definitely come to mind in this category. As Triumph is the sixth and final installment of the Saga I won't reveal any plot. For those of you who have been reading the series you know what's coming.

Caroline and Jack's story has been ever-evolving to this crucial point. London takes important social constructs from today's times and shows us what can happen in our world and why we need someone fighting for us. And while Jack McIntyre is a perfect hero for me Caroline Gerard should be celebrated and revered. She's a woman for whom stands strong in the face of any challenge. She's someone you'll want to emulate. In my reading world I'm privileged to read about strong women it's one of my things. The stronger the woman the greater respect I have for the novel as a whole. Caroline is one of the strongest I've ever read.

Cecilia London's writing is brilliant as always. She gives equal parts light and dark in her story telling. The good and bad juxtaposed against each other naturally. It's been a pleasure to read this series. It's been heart breaking and terrifying. Gratification and redemption has never felt as sweet as feeling it through Caroline Gerard in Triumph. She's a queen, a bad ass, and one hell of a strong woman.

My 5+ star Bellator Saga book reviews:
Book 1: Dissident
Book 2: Conscience
Book 3: Sojourn
Book 4: Phoenix
Book 5: Rhapsody

It All Ends Here. Their love however will never end.

Let me list my feels to be honest I have so many mixed emotions. I felt distraught, angry, sad, tearful, and joyful and although frightening at times there was so much hope.

“Take miracles when they came, because they’re few and far between.”

Triumph is beautiful, raw, gritty, astonishing, poignant, hopeful and daunting. And of all things emotionally draining. It bled me dry I laughed, I cried, I felt bittersweet. I saw everything that I was meant to see and yet all of it cannot be put into words no matter how hard I try.

My opinion on Caroline varied with each book. There were times where I hated her and I loved her all at the same time. Caroline here is not who she used to be and she still feels that her sanity might snap at any time. But she is a fighter. She is also still easily provoked and doesn’t have a real hold on her temper.

I will repeat myself for the sake of it hands down Monty is one of the best Heroes I have read. His brand of dominance, his complete control his kindness, his tenderness and devotions as well as his unconditional love for Caroline is undeniable.

I will always love you Monty. You are my number one silver fox.

The journey they have been on is hard to describe it is something that needs to be read, experienced. They were different when they met, they grew together as well as the love they had for one another. They were torn apart by extreme circumstances but each helped to put themselves back together again. Together they are sinfully, sexually decadent. More than they used to be, a deeper connection, more intense and knowing more of what they have and what they can lose.

I highlighted so much of this book and have realized that I can't really use anything of it is an experience you have to go into blind. It is everything I imagined and more.

Although I do have some slight negative points against the book. But the positive far outweigh the negative. But I have the need to mention them anyway.

Personally I found the ending to be somewhat anticlimactic. I really had no idea what to expect it just all felt too smooth for me. But my questions in regards to the ending being too smooth are more about the execution of it. I would have liked to have seen what the Santos administration had done in more detail. I could raise and ethical and maybe even philosophical nature that doesn’t belong here. As it’s a review and not a debate.
I do find the author’s mind truly fascinating and wouldn’t mind picking it apart. Or having a debate with her. Ethical, philosophical or otherwise anything else.

Ms. London is fearless in her writing and it all comes from the heart. Without a shadow of a doubt the determination and love involved in this journey is admirable. The idea to set up this plot now? Foresight might have been involved on her part.

The intellectualism of the book raises it to an epic moral and ethical debate to show how some people are willing to go to the extremes to fight for what is right and what the world in the end can come to if we aren’t careful. If we don’t stand up for our beliefs and values. This series and more specifically this book has earned a part of my mind and heart. See now I have been a tad philosophical here.

I didn’t want to voice this one but in for a penny in for a pound right? It was in some cases too patriotic where some things where I thought wow okay that is putting it on thick.

Parting words: Be vigilant at all times.

#ItAllEndsHere

Triumph begins where Rhapsody left...

Jack and Caroline decided to go to the ICC (International Criminal Court) to plead their case against the Santos Administration, wherein they can get a fair trial. But going to The Hague is no walk in the park, so-to-speak, they have to work discreetly, methodically and always on the look out to prevent any untoward incident that will jeopardize their trip. The ICC listens to Caroline retelling what really happened during her captivity.

After that interview, Jack & Caroline heard some news regarding the whereabouts of Senator Christine Sullivan and Caroline’s children, Marguerite and Sophie. This is one of the best scenes in this book and I may have shed some tears while on this part because it's soo good.

Jack and Caroline and their allies continue to plan how to topple the present administration. After news spread that Caroline is still alive, Pres. Santos makes a point to put Caroline in a bad light, to discredit her and even held a press conference announcing that Caroline is the enemy. But we all know Caroline won’t take this sitting down, she will fight until the end.

Will it be a successful mission? There’s only one way to find out…

Ever since I’ve started reading this series, my interest, my love for it never falters. I’m always looking forward to the next release, because it always ends with me wanting more of Jack, Caroline and other endearing characters. The story continues to captivate me which always gave me a book hangover once I’m done reading them. The way it was written was flawless from book 1 to 6, that’s how consistent it was. And the sexy time between Jack & Caroline, oooh it's HOT! I’ve highlighted a lot from this book, it’s just too good not to. Is this really the end? But no matter what the answer to the hanging question, I’ll always be waiting what’s next from Author Cecilia London; for I know it’s worth it!

This has been a long and often frustrating journey.

This saga has had me strung out over every emotion in the entire spectrum of feelings. I’ve gone from loving hard to having severe violent urges. I’ve had my heart stomped on and then put back together again. I’ve gone from admiring these characters to wanting to strangle them to rooting for them. And as I closed the final page in the final book, I cannot tell you whether I’m happy or sad that it’s all ended here.

In Triumph, every single emotion I felt during this entire series was packed into these pages. All of them, except frustration. My violent urges were greatly satisfied and in between all the moments of “FUCK YEAH!” there was tenderness and tears. Although the book is permeated with a sense of tension the author still took her time in exploring all aspect of it and giving those situations the brevity it deserved. Instead of a rush to the finish there were still many moments that shook me and had me needing to take a minute to digest it all.

The conclusion to The Bellator Saga is, in a word, epic.

All in all this ending was more than satisfying and more that I could have hoped for. In the words of Cecilia London herself: “Trust the process” – but definitely pick up these books.

“Everything I am, everything I have is yours.”

Triumph is the last and I must say, my most awaited book in The Bellator Saga. It’s a bitter-sweet experience for me. My anticipation for this release is at its utmost and my expectations are quite high. This saga have both touched me in a way that no other book has ever done and my most favorite series I’ve ever read.

The Rhapsody have ended on a note of hopefulness and the feeling continued throughout Triumph. I am allergic to anything political these days but this book is something I would gladly devour. I won’t elaborate on what this book is about, just that be vigilant on what is happening nowadays and this book might be the future of America.

To be honest, I was on the verge of killing Caroline, my hate directed toward her makes my blood boil but this book made me fall in love with her all over again and reminded me why I have admired her character so much. I love that no matter how complex her character is, there is still that character development and that she have come a long way since Dissident.
“She was Commander Caroline Gerard, leader of the new American Revolution. She had the heart of a goddamn lion. She’d crawled through the desert, battling wind and sand and blistering heat to come out ahead.”

Jack, oh Jack. Monty may have ruined me to future Book Boyfriends. Is it wrong for me to put him on a pedestal?
“Protective, doting, alpha, and still incredibly intuitive.”

My journey in reading this book gave me not just an insight psychologically on human emotions and, interactions and vulnerability, but also human being’s greed for political power and world domination. There is just so much going on in this book, or the whole saga, but it wasn’t overwhelming in the least and it touch a whole lot of subjects that was taken very seriously. I cannot fathom the brilliance that is put in this masterpiece and all I have to say is, you author you, finally I don’t have to sing ”Cecilia, you’re breaking my heart!” lol! But I love you, and I am super thankful for the ending of this saga. This is so much more than I have expected and my heart just sang and rejoiced and laughed. I will truly miss the characters especially my love for Caroline and obsession for Jack!

How do I end this review? Well, kudos Cecilia London! I cannot wait what’s next from you!

It's only January and I think I have found one of my favorite reads of 2017. Triumph is book six in Cecilia London's Bellator Series and what an incredible ending to a series it is.
We have seen the journey that has brought Jack & Caroline to this point. There are times they you will hold your breath, gasp out loud, shed tears you don't even realize are falling and just know that their story is coming to an end.
The events that Jack & Caroline will have to endure
To get to the conclusion of their story will just be so amazing and will feel so real at times that you will be sitting on the edge of your seat. I know that I being so vague with my review but there are so many events that occur in this story that you don't want to spoil their story for anyone that to wants read their story. But if you want to take a chance on a series from book one right up to book six this is one that will always stay with you it's that Fantastic.

A stunning last installment.

That's it, this is the end and I can't still believed it. What a journey … through six books, Cecilia London made us work for it from love to destruction and then rebirth, I was mind-blown.

I needed to process my thoughts because my emotions were all over the place.

I read the first book then the second and I knew I was for the long haul and following this incredible author. I don’t usually like reading books when you have to read the each of the books to get the full picture. Hopefully I was wrong and took a chance on this series. Every moment was worth the pain and even if it drove me insane, I had to know how their journey would end.

Triumph was changed emotionally but a little bit differed from the last ones where the angsty parts ruled most of the atmosphere. It was meaningful, like the pieces of this shattered puzzle were slowly getting back together, with some further clarification about some parts of the series. Filling the blanks.

Once again I was stunned and in awe by this couple, Caroline and Jack … le sigh.

Reading the evolution of their relationship made just love them more. After everything they went through, mostly hell, the turning events made them stronger and more real. The accumulation of whirlwind emotion was just overwhelming. I guess I became attached to them but also to some secondary characters who were essential to strengthen the story. I was living vicariously through them.

The romance part  into this battle for justice was well-balanced, giving a little bit of lightness in the world of heavies, switching from the happiest moments to the hard ones. I was falling all over again in love with his passionate and intense couple, always acting like a team, accepting each other entirely, flaws and all.

They truly shine and ignite together, burning passionately, honest and challenging each other.
One thing you learned about this series was never take things for granted, to fight for justice and stand for your ideas. Your voice matters. Be brave, be fierce and be strong. No sacrifice is too great for love, that's the thing I completely understood with the Bellator Saga.

Holding out for a hero(ine)
Triumph is the final installment of "The Bellator Saga", an epic political romance set in a dystopian America where the government has taken a fascist turn, and it is up to patriots like Jack McIntyre and Carolyn Gerard to fight for the things that America holds dear. Miss London has taken us on the hero's journey with Carolyn Gerard, an every woman serving in Congress when the winds of change begin to blow. A widow with two children, she fell in love with Republican playboy Jack McIntyre.
A sexy, bipartisan couple, their romance is the thing of legends. But every fairytale has an evil wizard and this time it takes the form of Lorenzo Santos, a fascist who has weaseled his way into highest office in the land. America has turned into a dystopian fascist nightmare and Carolyn and Jack become caught up in a quest for justice. A quest to save America.
When Triumph opens Carolyn and Jack have made the decision to take the bold step of exposing themselves and Santos' war crimes to the world. But the road is never ever easy for our sexy, mature loves. The only shelter Jack and Caroline need from any storm is each other. That will never change. Miss London gives us a beautiful romantic interlude, a sexy second honeymoon if you will before one last round through the wringer, and a final stand for the America of inclusion and freedom. We finally get our hard earned our happily ever after but it comes with unique, patriotic, emotional twists. It is all the things we prayed for and more then we dared to hope for.
This is one of the best stories I've read in ages, bar none. Everyone needs to read this story. While it's frightening in the way fiction foretells fact, it's ultimately about the unconquerable nature of love and hope. The story was engrossing and thought provoking. The way that Miss London gathered up all of this "important stuff" and wove into this epic romance is nothing short of phenomenal. Cecilia London's book should come with come with a warning. Do not read in airports or on planes. Your emotional turmoil may draw the attention of the air marshals. I speak from experience. I read Triumph on the eve of the inauguration waiting for a flight and found myself sobbing in public. Her words are that powerful. Her characters are that moving.

I can't describe the emotions I have right now. This was the most epic conclusion to a series I've ever read. FULL REVIEW TO COME!

Over a year I have been obsessed with this series - Triumph is an exceptional finale to a tumultuous series that echo's our very existence.

This review may be the hardest one of my blogging life. Because even starting it ( two weeks too late I might add) means that this series is over. There is no more Caroline & Jack. Nothing. This is the end. This is it. The finale is here.

And what a fucking ride it was!

I’ve been a little more than obsessed with this series since I dove in nearly two years ago. Caroline & Jack are the heart of this story – a Political Suspense that is mirroring our very existence as I type this. It’s frightening. My sister while reading Dissident ( the first book of the series) kept texting me asking if Cecilia was a psychic – she herself insisting she’s not writing meta fiction. She wove this series flawlessly – through all the ups and downs, the back and forth through time – digging her claws into me with the first chapter. Triumph was everything I could have possibly hoped for in the finale.

It was action packed – hot as fuck – and culminates everything that made me obsessed with the series in the first place.

After everything Jack & Caroline – their family and friends have been through – my god. It’s a lot to digest. It’s a lot to feel. And that’s exactly what I did. I feel in love with all of these characters that it was like a kick to the gut having to say goodbye.

I’ve begged and pleaded – maybe even threatened Cecilia that Jack & Caroline better get their happily ever after.

She did not disappoint.

I don’t know if a series of books has hit me as hard as these – the stories are tragic, suspenseful, frightening and sexy as hell. But even through everything Cecilia London sprinkles her famous sarcastic wit, the banter her characters engage in is some of the best stuff I’ve ever read. She’s had my laughing on minute, sobbing another, and curling my toes in anticipation of what Jack’s got up his sleeve.

You can’t pigeon hole this series. It’s not just a political thriller, it’s not just a romance – it’s everything and above all else, fucking amazing.

February has been a very hard month for me personally – a lot of stuff has popped up in my family, and with work and it’s been the most stressful two weeks ever. I keep my Kindle with me at all times. It’s always in my purse, and as I sat in many hospital rooms – cars to hospitals and hotel rooms. I re-read Triumph for the second time and it kept me sane. It kept me going. Caroline & Jack – everything they accomplished – everything they over came – the entire conclusion to this epic six book series gave me something to hold on to when i really thought I was going to lose it at any moment.

This book will always hold a special place in my heart – for a million different reasons. This one left it’s mark.

If you haven’t checked out The Bellator Saga yet – do so ASAP – and be thankful you started it after the series conclusion – Cecilia LOVES a cliff hanger ending.

So, I am sad.
Not because I didn't get the ending I wanted, because I did.
Not because I didn't get to read this amazing series, because I did.
Not because it scared me how close this saga is to real life right now, because it is.
But....because I miss Jack and Caroline already.

Triumph is the conclusion to a truly moving romance but even more than that a thought provoking political thriller. Cecilia London has written a story, a saga, about two political figures that are truly in love and in a heinous situation where they sacrifice so much for the country they love so deeply.

Throughout this series the suffering is monumental. The emotions are all over the scale. Caroline's wit saved me from screaming a time or two. The chemistry between Jack and Caroline is off the charts. His love for her is undeniable and a beautiful thing.

The friends old and new are great supporting characters. London's writing style makes you feel like you know these people personally. There have been few books I have read that I felt so connected to the characters and so invested in the story. It is mind boggling that she can write such a smoking hot sex scene and a spot on political situation the next chapter. I am in awe of her and her Bellator Saga.

I would suggest this saga/series to any reader but specifically to any romance or political thriller reader. It will make you laugh, cry, cringe and swoon.

Caroline has brass balls and Jack makes me swoon over and over.

Thank you Cecilia for sharing this story and your crazy brain with your readers.

I received a free copy of this book to read and review for Wicked Reads.

Caroline and Jack have come so far, taken so many risks and been through far more than anyone should. But, in order to get what they want, decisions are made which bring Caroline and Jack into the open and into danger. It also gives them something they didn't think was possible.

Triumph is such an emotional story where relationships and love play are a key driving force. I don't think I stopped crying during the last 25% of this book. I even cried through the acknowledgements at the end. I absolutely loved Triumph and the ending was everything I could have hoped for. I was completely blown away.

This series is six books and many thousands of words. Caroline and Jack fight to free their country from Santos regime and bring democracy back to America. Their epic love story stars the strongest, most determined, intellegent, compassionate and loving heroine I've ever read.

Triumph is a spectacular finale to the The Bellator Saga. Love stories don't get any better than this.

Thank you for Caroline and Jack.
This saga was amazing. It read like a movie to me and I adored it, so thank you Cecilia for reaching out to a little blog like me and trusting me with your talent. It is truly was an experience reading it. I fell into every book, grabbed on to every word and loved every minute of it.

Caroline. "She was dauntless, Indomitable. Strong as steel."
These words are perfect for her and she will always be a character I think of when people discuss female leads. A total badass that can rock a pair of boots just as nicely as a pair of heels.

Jack. "Everything I am, everything I have is yours."
I love how he loves her. His dedication to Caroline bleeds from the pages and I just adore their dynamic.

I was so anxious to see how it was all going to end, but the saga rounded out beautifully. It was everything I hoped it would be.

This book is definitely my absolute favorite one of the series! Cecilia London completely outdid herself on this one! You can tell how the current events of American Politics affected her writing of this last book, and it’s probably one of my favorite things about it. It’s a little unsettling the similarities between the government in the Bellator Saga and the current state of our government with the newly elected president (which is interesting, because at least 4 of the books had already been published before all the election craziness of 2016 hit). If you follow current news, you can definitely see the jabs and nuances aimed toward our current system, and it really scares the crap out of me how accurate the similarities are!

Jack and Caroline’s story was a complete whirlwind of emotions throughout the series, and in Triumph I felt even more connected to them. I don’t want to give away certain characters we see again, but when these characters come back in it was just a heartwarming reunion and I loved the way they had grown throughout that time. Cecilia London created such an amazing cast of characters and that was one of things I loved best about the series.

I normally never remember to highlight quotes as I’m reading, but there were a few from Triumph that really spoke to me, so I will share them with you. They are long, but the way she writes about America, and never giving up, and the diversity of our people just floored me. It was like I was standing at a protest listening to her speak and wanting to get up and fight alongside all of her characters.

“People never really think about the last time they are going to have sex with someone,” she said. “The last time they’re going to kiss them goodbye. The last time they;ll hear the other person’s voice. We take our relationships, our spouses, our partners for granted until one day, poof, it’s over. Maybe if we’d all be a little better off if we lived each day as if it might be the last.”

“Democracy was messy. Difficult. Frustrating. And America had always been imperfect. A song in search of the perfect note when so often the melody went flat. Its grand ideals had often been sacrificed at the alter of avarice, greed, and self-interest, but somehow its citizens kept going. Believing in that dream. Believing the shining city on the hill could actually be built. Believing despite its flaws, despite it’s errors, despite its injustices and inequalities, the great American experiment would find its way home.”

“It’s not about choices. Democracy is the lifeblood of America. And you believe in the system, enough to defend it down to your very last breath. All of your ideals, your hopes and dreams… they cease to matter if you abandon them in your darkest hour. We have to see this through to the end.”

“American exceptionalism has never been what people like Santos and his cronies wanted it to be. It wasn’t about ‘othering,’ about scapegoating and discord and trampling over others to get to the top. It was the beauty of our diversity, the power of community, the love radiating from neighbors and friends whenever a moment of crisis arrived. Our ability to find consensus in a sea of disagreement. Our empathy and willingness to say, ‘Teach me. I don’t understand but I’m willing to learn.’ We’ve lost that and we need to get it back. But the America described by so many brilliant artists –the unfinished symphony, the beacon of light, that great promise of freedom and democracy –we can’t let go of that. It’s greater than itself. It can be achieved if good people are willing to stand up for what’s right.”

Also there was a part where President Santos (the villain of the story) calls Caroline a “Nasty Woman” I just burst out laughing at that, as well as a part where she references twitter rants and someone said “you need to stop expecting unreasonable people to act reasonably.”

This whole story was just so well written, and these characters just felt so real. I hope that she writes a spin off of the series with some of the other characters, because I’m not ready to let these guys go yet.

Give this book a chance, even if your kind of on the edge about all the political aspect, the story was just amazing and well worth the read!

Also on a side note, one of the things I didn’t like as much about the series was just too many sex scenes strewn throughout the books, however the scenes in this book fit so well, and they weren’t overdone, they were beautiful. Two people finding their way back to each other after they have gone through so much physical and emotional pain throughout their journey and coming together learning to trust and love one another again. It was beautifully done.

*I received an ARC copy of this title at my request, and have provided this voluntary review*

First of all let me say, I fell in love with this series 2 years ago when I won a giveaway of the first two books. I was skeptical at first; not thinking I would enjoy anything with a political element to it, but boy was I wrong. I was IMMEDIATELY hooked. Cecilia pulled me into a world that blended the politics of The Hunger Games, with the drama and sexiness of Scandal. Or at least that was what this series was to me and I was immersed in it on page one of Dissident. I have followed Cecilia London ever since then, read all of the series, and her work has just gotten better and better and I couldn’t have been happier with how the series ended in Triumph. This series has made me cry, cringe, laugh and pretty much experience every other emotion imaginable during their journey. I don’t want to give away anything in this book, I feel like everyone just needs to experience it for themselves, so I will be straight to the point and leave out spoilers.

This last installment of The Bellator Saga, Triumph, picks up right where Rhapsody left off. We get all our questions answered in Triumph, I promise! As long as you’ve read all the other books in the series, you probably had the same questions I did at the end of Rhapsody: you would be right with me wondering if the tip they got at the end of Rhapsody is true. Could her daughters still be alive? Is there a chance Chrissy and the girls survived and made it to Canada? What will happen with the rebellion? Will Caroline get her revenge on Santos? Will the United States shift back toward Democracy? Let me just say, by the end of the book everything will be answered. The way everything plays out on paper was so easy to visualize, Cecilia made it so seamless and it flows so well that I don’t know if/when this is made into a TV series/Movie it could be better than my imagination has drawn up. It’s been a fun series to read and to go along with. It was has so much angst throughout this last book and even more sexy times between Jack and Caroline. Lets face it, Jack is just… *Swoon* Although this last book doesn’t have as much Jack and Caroline sexy time like some of the other books, the scenes Cecilia has added were so well placed and laid. (Although I wouldn’t mind more of Jack, Cecilia!)

It has been such a journey to go on in this series and I have enjoyed every minute of following Jack & Caroline, as well as seeing how everything plays out for all our characters in The Bellator Saga. I can only wish that someday this series will become so much more and end up on our TV’s so we can SEE Jack! This being a 6 book series, please don’t be turned off and think it’s too much to read. The Bellator Saga is just so astonishing and has such a gravitational pull too it, you will actually wish it is more than just 6 books!

Bravo Cecilia and I can’t wait to see what you deliver to us next!
