I am glad I read this book and I will definitely be reading the next. This story was unique to me for an historical romance and I found it very interesting to read.

Beautifully balanced in all forms, sexy if a bit lacking depth of plot (the length again). Stimulating and edgy novella.

It's BDSM erotica. I liked that the heroine was open to the bdsm from the beginning, no noncon scenes. I wish there was one last sec scene at the end.

I read about half this book. It was interesting until I learned that he wanted to have a real bdsm relationship, at which point I got turned off & bored, and didn't have any interest in finishing the novella.
