Omg Fox, I loveeee this man. He's dark and dangerous. Although he might appear cold and heartless, he can be sweet and caring. And he's hot as hell, yup he's the one who got me squirming on my seat.
And Raven wow I'm in awe with this girl, she's such a brave and strong girl, and she'll do anything to save her family.
As for Seth, I really wanted to know more about him. He's the mysterious one, so yeah can't wait to read the next book to find out more about him.

This was one of my favorite books by J.L. Beck, it was way more than just steamy and hot. I like my books a little edgier & darker and this book was a bit darker then I'm use to with her writing and I really liked it.
Raven will do anything to save her mother and there's only one thing she has that she deems of value, her virginity. The second Fox sees Raven he knows he had to buy her so he does but, what he doesn't expect is Raven is not a wallflower, she has a backbone and attitude and it just makes him want her more.
I can't wait to get more of Raven, Fox and Seth (Foxs brother) in the next story

BE AWARE of the black hole that sucked in part of the plot! or maybe it was the Fairy Godmother that did her magic and garments appeared out of thin air? One thing is sure, the editor was on Vacation... Regardless, this was a very short, smutty story that ends in a cliffhanger.

I'm falling more and more in love with J.L. Beck's writing every time I read a new book of hers, in this case it's a much darker story.
It's not all fun and games, our leading lady has to make a sacrifice to save someone precious to her and the decisions she makes lead her straight to Fox.
He is ruthless, he doesn't have time to teach a little virgin what to do, but Raven is different and he knows that the second he lays eyes on her. She deserves much better but lucky for him she is his now.
They both have secrets that keep them apart but when everything unravels what will they choose. Will Raven want this man who bough her for himself, who she is certain is a bad man but has a good heart; or will she run and never look back.
Will fox understand his feelings for her? Is he capable of feelings at all?
I was glued to this book, it kept me on edge the whole time and I couldn't stop till I found out what happened.
Even though their situation is not ideal, they found something within each other, a connection that was deeper that any of them could have ever expected and they have no idea what to do with it.
For now they just let go and let themselves be consumes by the other.
Beware of the cliffhanger, other than that it's just so good you won't regret it!

While her feisty personality is something that Fox desires to break in the worst way, will Raven also lose a part of herself, besides her virginity, in this transaction?

Just to warn you guys, this book does end in a cliffhanger. I didn't know that at first and when I got to the end I was like "what the hell?" I like the premise behind the story and Raven's attitude best of all. Even though she just sold herself, she's not afraid to speak her mind and stand up for herself, even though she feels unable to give in to the charms of both the Smith men. I'm still not sure what to think of Fox and his brother--there are times when you don't like them and times where you do. I guess we'll have to see how the story continues in the next book!

I'm a bit torn about how should I rate this book. The story had a lot of great parts but I had a few issues with it, which sort of ruined my book experience.
First, "I'm doing it for my parents" is so overused plot, I rarely fully enjoy it. I don't get the need to make heroine so pure and selfless... A heroine can have a few bad traits and still be an amazing person everybody loves, don't you agree?
Second, the blurb said it's a darkish romance. That got me excited no end. I expected a hero and other characters with pretty dangerous auras around them but sadly, all I got were sheep in wolves' clothing. Even their tough talk sounded ridiculous and unauthentic.
Speaking of sheep, the hero was using nickname "little lamb" so often, half through the book I started cringing every time I read it.

I can't help but to read any JL Beck book. I absolutely love the story of Fox and Raven. There is MFM scenes, but I still loved how hot this book is! A must read! Cliffhanger, so be be prepared. Can't wait to see what else happens with this family!

This is the first book I've read by J. L. Beck and I'm defiantly looking forward to reading more. I have mixed feelings about this book. It has some pros and cons. On the upside, I love the two alpha male protagonist. Fox and Seth are two of my favorite characters. They were well written and smouldering. The sex scenes are super hot and kinky, always a plus. Some of the things I didn't like is how short the book is and that it ended with a cliff-hanger. I didn't know that going in and it really disappointed me. The biggest problem I had with this book was, unfortunately, Raven. I really didn't like Raven's character. I know she was in a bad situation, that she felt forced into by her and her mother's unfortunate circumstances, but I found her to be flaky. She was bitchy and whiny. I found it really hard to like her which is not a good thing in the heroine of the story. It's hard to enjoy reading a romance when you can't stand the main character. I will be looking out for the continuation of this story and hope the conclusion will be more satisfying. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

I can never get enough of an alpha bad boy. I also am drawn to anything that promises me some darkness along with a hea. Let me tell you if you love any of what I just said and maybe some m/f/m action. How about secrets that can't come out? I'm telling you this story as a lil bit of everything I love in a story and I'm sure there is something in here that you will enjoy also. Fox is truly the alpha male who you will fall for. While Raven is the innocent that's not so innocent. I won't give any spoilers so this is short And sweet. Go grab this book. You won't regret it I promise.

WOW! Josi does it again!! Raven's mother is ill. She needs money like yesterday & she thought she had only 1 thing left that was worth anything, her virginity will it be worth enough? Fox is a Wealthy Bad Boy who always, ALWAYS gets what he wants & he wants Raven as soon as he sees her; so he buys her. $500,000 is nothing to him & this timid beauty will be worth it, he'll make sure he breaks her. He goes to claim his prize & is mildly amused to see that she has quite the sassy mouth & thinks this is going to be more fun that he thought. Will Raven make it back to her mother quick enough? Miss Beck was so nice to send me a copy and what can i say? I loved it! The hole story is seductive and wants to keep you reading! :) It's not your typical romance and that's what i liked so much. Fox is taking the badboy up a noch and Raven does everything to keep up the fight! I loved the hole story line, it's a dark, seducing and overwhelming romance you can't put away!

This is the first book I've read by this author and I have mixed reviews. I thought it was good but there were some things I didn't care for. The good stuff first though - the sex was hot! Of the main characters, surprisingly liked Fox and Seth the best. They were tough as nails alphas (on the outside). However, deep down they both had a heart and a soft spot for a woman in trouble. I didn't like how Raven was so wishy-washy. In the same scene she'd go from hating Fox and not wanting him to be near her to immediately feeling like she couldn't be without his touch and begging him for it. I also have mixed feelings on the ending. I did not like that it ended in a cliffhanger without being told it would do so in the blurb. Although, I did like how it ended (for now) with how Fox and Seth were towards Raven and her mother's situation. Like I said before, overall it was a good book. There were just a few things I didn't love. It's a quick read that can be completed in a couple hours, perfect for an afternoon.

Raven put herself and her virginity up for auction. Her goal was to make money for her mothers cancer treatment. Fox bought Raven for a five hundred thousand dollars. Fox takes Raven home but did not jump on her he knew he could work with her. Fox asked Seth to do some snooping and a deal was struck that Seth would have some time with her. Raven finally told Fox the truth about why she was selling her virginity. Seth finds out that his father had let her mother go from his company when they found out she had cancer. When Seth called him on it he said she would drain a lot from the insurance company. Seth grabbed his father by the throat and told him that he let his mother die also because all he thought of was himself. Finally Fox took her virginity while his brother had sex with her also. Fox had fallen in love with Raven he put a check for her on the night stand. Plus Seth gave her another check but she had already left. The book end in a cliffhanger.

Who knew that his past would be so much like her present. That the reason Ravens virginity is bought because of who Fox's father is.

WOW! I need to know more about this couple. J.L. Beck writes sexy like no other but Seducing the Virgin has my complete attention. I have no words for this hard to put down, dark romance. I love the storyline and the characters with their flaws and all.
Raven Miller needs money now and if she has to sell her virginity to the highest bitter, she'll do just that. As soon as the man who has purchased that rare gift is done with her, she can move on and forget about what she's done.
Fox Smith doesn't like inexperience women but the beauty in front of him has him bidding for her virginity. He also knows she's hiding something and he intends to find out what it is.

Josi has once again created a book that has me absolutely dying for the next!!! This book had me so engrossed that I could NOT put it down. You really will love to hate these guys I'm telling you. There is something about them that you can't help but to be drawn in by them. Fox isn't as heartless as he comes across and his brother is definitely mysterious. They are just two drool worthy men. Raven is such a caring person. She is really doing whatever she had to do in order to help her mom. She is feisty, with a sassy mouth and she will keep Fox on his toes.
Josi did another great job writing about a couple that you will fall in love with. The story line has intrigue, drama, angst, some smoking hot scenes and much more. You really don't want to miss out on this one. I can't wait for the next!!!

another book short story that finishes at 34%... I looked at reviews on here, Amazon and the author blurb and cannot see where this is explained to the reader ... Amazon even states it is a 267 page book for $2.99....which I thought was all the title I paid for...but it is not..There is at least 1 'bonus' book but as I expected Seducing the Virgin to be a complete book..then it isn't a bonus but a filler...and I haven't bothered to read them nor will I.
If you insist on publishing extremely short stories then do your readers a favour and tell them they are not getting a book with a whole story but a short story with a bunch of filler short stories. If I know what I am getting and I buy it anyway...my problem otherwise it leaves a bad taste and a feeling of being ripped off

WOW, THIS ONE WAS SUPER CLICHE, AND INSTA-LOVE I JUST COULDN'T APPRECIATE IT, I'M SORRY. THIS REVIEW IS BASED ON THE DUOLOGY.
What we have here is a simple case of hero buys our virgin heroine from a 'virgin auction' but unlike the other stories where authors have written a similar plot, this one lacked intensity, realness, angst and threads of connectivity between the MCs. It was all very superficial and sadly I didn't see the bonding happen between the characters, merely telling and then there's the sex of course.
Sad, I think I've read from this author before but I think this one was a letdown.

Fox is at a auction and normally doesn't go for virgins but one glance at Raven he wanted her. Raven strong girl doing this for her family and just can't wait to get it all over with. **I received this ARC in exchange for an honest voluntary review** Fair warning: This book ends in the dreaded cliffhanger! Enjoyed this story for the most part. Don't really see the point in the character of Fox's father other than the fact that he's the reason for the situation Raven's mother is in. I was expecting him to be more of a villian but perhaps there will be more development in the second half? Besides that, I liked how Fox would show flashes of a softer side & I hope to see more that in the second part to come. Also hope Fox's brother Seth gets his own HEA. Looking forward to part two!

This is a quick read and the storyline was an interesting one, but it's a bit choppy and needs more depth. I didn't care for Fox at all. I did warm up to Seth, but Fox was just an overbearing jerk throughout. I normally like Josi's books, but this one just seemed to be lacking something for me. One of those things would be an actual ending. I have no problem with a continuing story, but when nothing gets resolved and the story just cuts off, it's irritating. The story had great potential and I think it would've made a great full-length novel, giving it more space for the depth it deserved.

I have mixed feelings about this book. Overall it was interesting and I liked the characters, but I was disappointed in the ending; there was a bad cliffhanger that I didn't like. That took it down a star. I like when books finish on a good note, even if there's another story coming in the series. I liked Seth, Fox, and Raven, and I really hope that the three of them end up together in an HEA, and this book doesn't go like a previous book of this author where one of the guys was left out, because that just ruins the whole point in books like this. I was gifted a copy.

Wow, what a hot quick read this is and I loved it. Raven decides to sell her virginity to raise money for something close to her heart and Fox Smith is the man to buy it. He's a bad guy and she is an innocent virgin but there is a chemistry between them and it was great to watch this grow throughout the book. Raven is one brave lady. The story did end quickly and I feel there is more to come which is great because I'd love to find out what happens next.

Seducing the Virgin Part 1 had a wow factor 500. I didn't know what would become of Raven, but once Fox bought her, he was tied to her, and she to him. Keeping her away from his brother Seth was difficult,and the twists and turns woven into the story kept me on edge. It was hot, suspenseful, and I am fully intrigued at what will come next. I voluntarily reviewed an advance reader copy of this book.

I love J.L Beck, you will never be disappointed with one of her books. This is no different, its hot with some mystery. Raven has come into a tough situation and has to sell her virginity to the highest bidder. Fox has his eyes set on Raven so he has to have her. And holy cliffhanger, I can't wait for the next book to find out more about Fox, Raven and Seth. This is a must read.
