Archie Goodwin was an American comic book writer, editor, and artist. He worked on a number of comic strips in addition to comic books, and is best known for his Warren and Marvel Comics work. For Warren he was chief writer and editor of landmark horror anthology titles Creepy and Eerie, and for Marvel he set up the creator-owned Epic Comics as well as adapting Star Wars into both comics and newspaper strips. He is regularly cited as the "best-loved comic book editor, ever."

It’s a blast to read these old comics. I do feel that a story takes a while to get going and drags because the conflicts sometimes feel endless.

Surprisingly, not so interested in the Wolverine parts of this issue.
I believe this and the next issue are part of an ongoing story that I don’t know much about (again, why did they do that??)

Kingpin hired Tiger Shark who then gets into a fight with Bandera (a mutant who's power inspires others to fight with her). Wolverine stumbles across them...

Anyway, the issue ends with Wolvey fighting against Tiger Shark in the middle of the ocean (not a good idea)...
