REVIEW: SATISFIED is the third and final installment in Ella Ardent’s adult, serialized contemporary DANGEROUS erotic, romance trilogy focusing on billionaire Reid Stirling, and Kendra Jones. SATISFIED should not be read as a stand alone as it picks up immediately upon the events of episode two SHATTERED.
NOTE: SATISFIED contains explicit scenes of bondage and discipline, and may not be suitable for all readers.
Told from several third person points of view SATISFIED is a bit of a departure from the previous two episodes in that the story line focuses on betrayal, revenge, murder and more. Two years earlier, Reid Stirling’s first wife went missing and her body recently recovered with all clues pointing to the man himself. Kendra is determined to prove Reid’s innocence but someone is hoping to destroy Reid’s life, one victim and one set up at a time. What ensues are Kendra’s struggles to reveal the truth, and one man’s battle with an unknown predator that threatens the woman with whom he has fallen in love.
SATISFIED is the heart stopping and suspense filled conclusion to Ella Ardent’s three part Dangerous serialized novel. There are moments of action, suspense, mystery, drama, danger, love and loss. Not everyone will survive; the truth will finally be revealed; and in the end Kendra loses much more than she could have ever imagined.
I did struggle with the rush to the finish and there was no real resolution (or details) to the conclusion of the stalker story line. The relationship between Kendra and Reid suffers from Reid’s guilt and inability to let go of the past, and in the end, Kendra is too easily swayed by one man’s attempts to ask forgiveness and for the future. SATISFIED is the best of the three episodes as the focus is no longer on the BDSM relationship but on the threats against our leading couple. The premise is entertaining with heart pounding suspense; the characters are colorful, charismatic and dynamic; the romance suffers with one man’s battle between his heart and his head.

Dangerous was originally published in nine installments and a complete volume. It's been updated for 2017 and restructured into three episodes called Seduced, Shattered and Satisfied. This is my review for episode 3 – Satisfied by Ella Ardent.
In this final episode everything comes to a dramatic conclusion. Kendra and Reid both find themselves in a life or death situation, and we finally discover who the mystery man is that has been stalking both of them. I had absolutely no idea right up until the man was revealed who he was, and for me that makes the mystery side of this book absolutely spot on! We find out more about Reid's missing/dead wife, and we also see a sweeter more genuine relationship start to develop between Reid and Kendra. It will do them no good though if one or both of them end up murdered!
For me this episode was the very best of the 3. There was far less focus on BDSM, some of the sex was actually what is described as 'vanilla' just lovely normal love making. Also we had the bonus of the mystery element of the book coming to it's fruition and the drama that unfolds. As a whole the 3 episodes together make a perfect book which I highly recommend as long as you are over 18 and don't mind reading BDSM scenes and a little violence outside of those scenes too. I surprised myself with how much I enjoyed these episodes, and it proved to me that you can have a highly erotic book including things you don't like to read about, and yet if the author is good enough, they can have you giving a 5 star rating where normally you maybe wouldn't have even finished the book. They can lead you to reading more of that particular author's books. Very well done to Ms Ardent for achieving what I thought was the impossible for me!

What a dramatic finish to this story. It's exciting and suspenseful, and it keeps you on the edge of your seat. Finally finding out what happened to Alana was shocking and horrific to say the least. The events leading up to that discovery are terrifying. The only issue I have with this story is that Kendra would almost certainly have PTSD in real life. But as a whole, it was an amazing story.

Final installment in Dangerous trilogy, you have to have read the first two. The mystery gets completed with who the stranger is and why he's after Reid. My only unanswered question is why was he watching Kendra in the first place. Was he guessing Reid would be interested in her, or just to set Reid up whether there was a physical relationship or not. This is fast paced nonstop action, explained the BDSM trust issues, and I was glad Reid realized the trauma Kendra had been through she just needed to be taken care of gently. We see a much more fulfilling relationship develop that I could believe would have created a loving couple, instead of just master/slave rolls. Kendra finally came into her own with thinking and calling out wrong doing, she actually questioned Reid, made him stop and think. Reid also matured, realizing he wasn't always right, and trusted Kendra back. We have viewpoints from many different characters in this edition, and we see why the police detective did some of the things he did, and even though he didn't like it he listened to counter information to his thinking. Loved the Butler and his wife, she didn't miss much. All in all it was a satisfying ending, at first I questioned Reid's need to get away, but after what he'd been through he would need some serious time to himself to deal with what his wife had done to him. Well written and enjoyable mystery. I was provided a copy for an honest viewpoint.

This was a well-written, fast-paced episode. This is the third and last of the series. Kendra and Reid come back together and begin a committed relationship with each other. Then the body of Reid's former wife is discovered and he is the main suspect. Kendra believes he is innocent and sets out to prove it. The episode has intrigue, action, suspense, danger and romance. This was a great finale to the series and I look forward to reading more books by this author. A copy of this book was provided to me with no requirements for a review.
