Andrea Castellan (born 23 Avril 1967), better known by the pen name Casty, is an Italian comic book writer and artist, mostly recognised for his contribution to the character of Mickey Mouse.
Casty debuted in 1995, working on the Italian humour comic series Cattivik and Lupo Alberto. Since 2003, he has been writing Mickey Mouse comics for the Italian weekly digest Topolino. Starting from 2006, he has also drawn most of his Disney stories.
Casty is regarded by many as the best Mickey Mouse cartoonist of his generation. His work mixes humour, adventure and suspense, along the lines of past Mickey masters Floyd Gottfredson and Romano Scarpa. His stories sometimes contain vintage sci-fi aesthetics and social themes, such as environmentalism.

This book was a great start to Mickey Mouse through the IDW comics brand. In the first story, Mickey and his friends travel to Africa in search of some missing loved ones. There they run into an adventure field with possible danger, new characters, and wild experiences. One of the new characters that I really enjoyed was a female mouse character named Eurasia who was quite fun, smart, and hilarious at the same time.

This book also included other stories such as a funny story about a new character named Elvis worth, a funny and wisecracking bird who does not take Ms. from anyone. There was also a story about Pluto, Mickey's dog, who does whatever it takes to win the female dog of his dreams.

These stories were quite a fun ride and also a great escape from some of my more serious reading. I highly recommend it to Mickey Mouse, Disney fans, or people who like simple, but fun adventure stories...
