Banished to England, to ‘cool off’ Kyle Mannino met and fell in love with rich, standoffish boarding school brat Camille, two weeks before he was due to fly home.
Cultural clashes and family interference ensured the two young lovers parted ways in the most vicious of ways. Only for them to reconnect by accident years later.
She is now an overindulged movie star. He is a rich globe-trotting player. They made a go of it for a while, until an accident caused one to stubbornly pull away and the other, trying to hold on to what they always were.
Can Kyle and the movie star ever live a normal life? Was their present forever shaped by their past? Only time and patience could tell.
When I described myself to my friends, I called myself an introvert, and they laughed so hard I should really be offended.
I also consider myself to be very lucky, as although born in Britain, I spent my formative years mostly in Kingston, Jamaica, with a long detour through Toronto and Nairobi. I married my college sweetheart and we have two kids and a cat. I LOVE cats.
I've come full circle and live in Nottingham, just 12 miles from where I was born.
My writing reflects all that I am and where I've been. I love mixing cultures and seeing what happens.
I received an advanced copy for an honest review. Convincing Kyle is a great follow on book from Distracting Ace. I'm not going to go into too much details because I don't want to give any spoilers. I love Kyle and Camille's relationship, there were moments in the book where I shouted at Kyle and Camille that's how caught up I was. This book has it all heartbreak, love, mistery and so on. I wanted to savour this book and take my time reading it slowly but the book was to juicy and I was too caught up in the story to put the book down until I finished it. This book was so engaging, captivating and enchanting I loved out so much. Overall Convincing Kyle is a great read, I was good to see the series evolving and cannot wait to read the next book in this series.
This is book 2 in this series. Kyle and Camille's story. I received ARC of this story for an honest review. I love this story, it was totally engrossing as well as a roll-coaster of ride. I cannot reveal any of the twists and turns because this is what makes the story so good. I confess to wanting to beat Kyle over the head due to his stubbornness. The couple endures a lot, they have so much to overcome to be with each other. I believe that true love endures and overcomes it all and this is what they do. This is an excellent read. Definitely worth the read.
This is the 1st book I've read written by Caroline Bell Foster; she has done a great job at writing a good book; I will definitely be reading more of her books.
The story line caught my attention at the very beginning and kept me interested throughout the entire book.
I loved the chemistry between the characters.
I received a free copy of this book via booksprout and I’m voluntarily leaving a review.
He was sent away to England to cool off. He was due to leave in two weeks when he met her and things became heated very quickly. He is made to go back home and they end up being broken apart. Years pass before they meet up again. Their lives are very different but will they reconnect? Will their last ruin their future? See how they get on
Another of Caroline's brilliant work. You definitely know that you have to get the housework done first before you pick up one of her books. Can't wait to read Matthew's story
I received this book as an ACR from the author Caroline Bell-Foster. Kyle and Camille, what a lovely couple. So many emotions ran through me while reading this book, sadness, anger,. I was deeply engrossed in this book. I have never rooted for a couple in a novel like I did for those two.... So many obstacles were thrown their way but resilience and their love won.
The perfect follow up to distracting Ace. Eagerly awaiting Mathew's story. Caroline Bell Foster has a fan in me for life
