Published in 2002, this book seems very dated. Again, there was nothing to really distinguish this from any other book about lofts -- in fact, several of the photographed spaces are "repeats" from the other books I've recently read. There was one stand-out here, a renovated building in Melbourne that was truly a one-of-a-kind living space with incredible style that didn't fall into the modern, all-white, plastic and chrome mold that these spaces all too often embrace. Still, pretty disappointing -- the photography is fuzzy/grainy in a lot of shots, and the color is off too.
