Who writes a part one book that's not even 300 pages? The book was skinny and short, but the action was good. A not even 300-page book that leaves you hanging? That sounds like desperate marketing to me...

Conner is back from his adventure saving the life of the President's daughter. On his next missiong, he will be protecting twin daughters of a wealthy businessman on their yachting vacation. Conner will not only have to deal with sea pirates, but also the girls' future stepmother, and the rebellious nature of one of the twins.
The books in the Bodyguard series have actually been split into two volumes each, so even though Hijack is the third book in the series, it is really just the first half of the second book. Even though Conner survived his first assignment, he is still very unsure of himself even though his trainers continue to praise him for his progress. Also, some of Conner's fellow trainees are a part of the story; Ling goes with him on the mission, but resents that she isn't in charge, Amir shows his disappointment because he still hasn't gone on a field mission yet, and Charlie continues to display more than a collegial concern for Conner. Overall this is another good installment in the series

I would read this book again. I love the action of the book towards the end. I also like the way it gave detail into the way of sailing. I kinda think its funny how Connor has had two female principles for his missions. I also thinks its funny how twice know he has had one of his principles fall for him.
I love the world at sea experience of sailing to all these beautiful islands. I like the way it gives some fun with the jet ski ling was riding explode and ling survived with a burn on her leg. I love the high-tech gear they get to use and I'm kind of jealous that us modern humans don't have tech likes this for our military.

May 19, 2021This book had more action than the first. This time we go on a trip to Australia with Connor and we learn how the first mission really affected him. Even through his doubts he still tries his best to protect the twins. It’s a great book for multiple ages.

Ok this is so good. I love. Maybe just except the fact that the girls especially Chloe are described like such petty spoiled brats and very stereotyped girls, it bothered me, but otherwise I loved it.
