At eighteen years old, Brooklyn Andrews is nothing more than a naive college student. Being the youngest of five and the only girl, she is sheltered from a lot of things that most girls her age experience, including boys. That is until she meets Dominic. Dominic Roberts is a young, handsome business man who owns a profitable trucking company, along with his older brother, David. When the two meet it's hard to deny the attraction that they have for one another and it doesn't take long before they act on what they both feel. The only thing standing in their way besides Brooklyn's brothers is Kennedi, Dominic's fiancé. Kennedi loves Dominic with all her heart, but Brooklyn is slowly making him rethink if marriage is what he really wants. Will Dominic drop his fiancé and make Brooklyn his number one or will she continue to be his little secret?
How u just going end it like that......I gotta know what happen!!! Please tell me part 2 is coming real soon!! I loved it. First book I ever read by this author. I will continue to support!!
Oh wow, oh wow, where do I start...oh wow...lol ok so life ain't so grand for these folks up in this dramatic read but who died and left miss tiffany news carrier and Kennedi miss bougie diva status...really. They both on my hate list. This clan of brothers are so protective over baby sister that when things go downhill everyone is so hurt. But on the other hand author Chenell you know who my fave is
You're my little secrets was good from being to end. The twisted and turns in this book keep me on the edge of my seat. Brooklyn innocent was very refreshing but the things that she experience in this book was emotional... The secrets and the betrayal will leave your mouth wide ooen.
The characters was well developed to the point you thought and felt like you knew theses people in this story .
Well this was one of my best reads this year. I can't wait for part 2. it was funny and Sweet and just the right amount of drama... I just hope the evil step-cousins get left out like the evil stepsisters in Cinderell... first read by this author but I will be reading more... great job Chenell Parker....
Wow is it bad that I want dominic and Brooklyn to be together. Seriously I hate Kennadi (spell check). I love coco crazy self. I do not like the way that Brooklyn’s brothers are coming at her. I can’t wait to read the rest of the series.
I couldn’t put this book down. The drama that was in that book. This author is definitely becoming of favorite of mines. On to the next one part 2 i can’t wait 😊
OMG!! Why did this just end like that?! I'm still sitting here wondering WTH just happened, YEAH i read the book, i have the facts, but where is the author gonna go from here?
I REALLLLLYYYY want to call Brooklyn dumb, because of the whole situation, but i honestly just like her too much to actually say that. Yes, she shouldn't have even pursued anything and i believe she even understands that, but now THIS!!! Too much...and i also noticed not once did i see Dominic take Brooks feelings into consideration, not really anyway, he just said "I'll be here for you" nothing more or less, so i know Brooklyn needs some big girl panties ASAP!
The story kept me engaged from beginning to end. You couldn't help but like Brooklyn even with her naive and poor choices, she had a sweet personality. I also had a soft spot for Dominic despite his not so smart ways. I loved David, he was so real. And Brooklyn's brothers were too much with their over protectiveness... you can't watch someone 24/7. I will read the follow up story and see if my wishes for the couples involved come true.
I love Author Chenell Parkers books to begin with, and find this one just as exceptional. It's a subtle story of passion and purpose, love and tension, trust and distrust. It was realistic and you could easily identify with the characters. It was far from predictable. Excellent read. Brooklyn is carrying some heavy luggage. And Dominic as fine as he sounds he's gotta sharpen up and choose who he wants permanently. Praying for a part 2.
This had me turning the pages one by one. I felt so bad so Brook. The way everybody was treating her I had to go back and read how old she was again. I personally wouldn't have stood for that at all. She has to learn and grow on her own. And then Dominic...ugh I liked him until he said he was still gonna get married. Let that girl fall in love and then not use protection. I can't wait to get started on book 2.
Where do I start with this book. Well let me just say, it was everything I looked for in a book and more. I enjoyed it from beginning to the end. I would definitely recommend this book to all my avid reading friends.
Excellent series, had me reading until finished. Tiffany and Kennedi are trips. Dominic wants his cake and eat it too. Brooklyn has a lot of growing up to do. Only time will tell what happens to alL of these characters. Great start to this series!
You’re my little secret was a good book. This book has secrets and drama. The character and the storyline was good. The ending just ended Overall the book was good
Growing up in New Orleans, Brooklyn Andrews—affectionately known as Baby—has always been the youngest and most protected in her family. With four overbearing brothers watching her every move, she finds herself in a predicament that will leave your mouth hanging open.
Throughout the story, you’ll laugh, cry, and root for Brooklyn as she navigates life with her close-knit family. While her cousins believe her brothers should let her grow up, when she finally does, even they realize her brothers’ overprotectiveness isn’t so easy to shake.
Alongside Brooklyn, we also meet Kennedi and Tiffany—two cousins who learn the hard way that the way you get a man is sometimes the same way you lose him. Chenell Parker masterfully weaves drama, love, and family dynamics into a story that keeps you hooked from beginning to end.
If you love a book filled with deep family bonds, emotional twists, and unforgettable characters, You’re My Little Secret is a must-read!
Whew this book was soooooo good! I feel like Brooklyn's main problem was her family!!! They were way too overprotective... So much so that Brooklyn was so naive and timid! I hope in part two she grows up and starts making decisions for herself! Dominic gets a huge side eye from me because he wants to have his cake and and eat it to! He doesn't like anything about kennedi but still stays with her while doing whatever with Brooklyn! Tiffany and Kennedi both annoyed me so bad! They are both miserable, money hungry heifers!!! I loved me some Co-Co and David 😂😂 they both were pure comedy!!! That ending had me tickled because Kennedi was loud and wrong and got that face cracked 😂😂😂 onto part 2!
That’s how good this book is. Now I do NOT condone what Brook and Dominic was doing at all. However, it’s always been said “The same way you got him will be the same way you lose him” I don’t care for Tiffany or Kennedi but I do feel bad for Nadia. Seems like she was in love with Dominic but she gave up. Them brothers are a trip. I understand they want to protect Brook but she has to live. I’m honestly rooting for Dom and Brook. Let’s see how Dream Barbie and her annoying ass cousin handle the shit that’s about to be all over their faces.
I love all of CP’s books. However, I think she’s pushing it with this one. First of all, ain’t nobody’s mama or daddy cool with them having a baby by a man who’s is essentially married. Two, Dominic is crazy as hell. What he think he’s going to keep hitting it up until the wedding. Also, why is he so intent on marrying Kennedi? She has absolutely no substance to her. Lastly, how Candace’s butt think that she running things. She tried it, for sure. Okay, now that I got all of that off of my chest, I am really enjoying this series. Brooklyn is a sweetie, naïve as hell, but a true sweetie. Can’t wait to see what happens in book 2. I am hooked.
This was my first read by this author but most definitely not my last. This book captured my attention from the very first page and held it to the very end and I still wanted more. Totally loved the storyline and plot and it flowed so smoothly. it was so refreshing to read a very well wriiten story without any drug dealers as the main characters. The characters were entertaining, interesting and so likable. It was so much drama, jealousy, envy, lies and the secrets. Can't wait to see what all unfolds in PT.2. Job well done Chenell Parker.
This was a very good book! The series was suggested by my wife and I'm glad I started. I kind of felt a little sorry for Brook getting caught up but stuff happens. Dominic needs to work on his pull out game I think, lol! But all in all I believe I will enjoy this series. I cracked up on how this one ended! Just when you ready to laugh at someone and figure out the jokes on you. Really enjoy Ms. P's writing style!
Omg this book was sooo good. Brook my favorite character in this book got herself caught up in the mix with Dominic. Kenndi is going to be heartbroken but get things happen. I don’t like Tiffany at all. I believe Bryce should be with Taylor that’s where he belongs. So much stuff happens on part one alone. The ending was epic because I was laughing at Kenndi because she thought she knew all the answers to she got the reality check of a lifetime.
Happy that this wasn't a predictable story. Although I searched for BWWM books, this story came up. Clearly it's not. But I stuck with it, and was not disappointed. I read all three books and will most likely re-read them in the future. Great way to spend some free time. Extremely realistic characters.
Oh I’m feeling this book! Easy to get into. I’m really not sure why Dom is still with K or why he thinks he loves her because nah he doesn’t lol Brook moved fast and I’m honestly shocked that she accepts the little triangle she is in since she was a virgin before. Can’t wait to read part 2.
