Forget the foreplay. For the truly committed, it's all bite.
Willow has loved Devon and Case for as long as she can remember, but as lion shifters they will eventually find their mates. When she allows herself to be with her two lions after a drunken party, she fears she's ruined a lifelong friendship and flees before morning.
Devon and Case have been inseparable since they could walk, but they can't tell anyone that they are mates. The pride of shifters they belong to won't accept a same-sex mating. But it's not just their lives they have to worry about. They've also just realized they've become a triad with Willow--three shifters mated.
When a shocking revelation brings Willow's world crashing down, she knows she can't hide behind her fears any longer. Being with Case and Devon is the only thing that makes sense, and she doesn't care if it ends up ruining their friendship. *Previously published as All Bite, No Growl, this title has been re-edited. "All Bite, No Growl" is a short, sweet, and to the point story about Willow, a young, female lion shifter who has been in love with her male, lion shifter best friends, Devon and Case, for most of their lives. She's socially awkward, but the guys have always been there for her. Unfortunately, she knows that they'll always be "just friends". She figures that they'll find their mates and leave her behind. Well, they HAVE found their mates, but it's a real surprise to everyone as to who they are.
What follows is a really, I mean REALLY, hot threesome scene between Willow, Devon, and Case that left me as nothing but a puddle on my living room floor. So, so good. Jenika Snow knows how to write a sex scene. That's for sure. I don't really want to give anything else away. Like I said, it's a short read. It took me less than an hour, but it was a fantastic hour :-)
I highly recommend this one to anyone who loves a sexy MMF story with shifters that will make your heart pound and lady parts tingle. I'm very glad to have read it.This book was reviewed by a member of the review staff at Cocktails and Books. The name of the reviewer can be found under the post categories.
Menage is one of my favorite genre’s when paired with the paranormal, I find myself in my little piece of heaven. Jenika feeds my addiction with All Bite, No growl.
Its a short sweet story of fate doing what they do best. Messing in the lives of others. (smiles) Three young people who are very close due to the fact they grew up together. The lil lioness a bit down on herself and feels mostly like and outsider among “friends”, where as the males had sexy and confidence down to a science. They were a tight nit trio of friends.
Old traditions bumps head with new traditions and choices have to be made, when keeping secrets are no long viable. Figuring out feelings, love and confronting a council of Lions that kept to the old ways.
A quick read, both detail, story as well as characters well balanced. Added with some very hot sexy scenes. I think I even re-read them over once or twice. (smiles). I read and reviewed this book voluntarily. Enjoy
While this was HOT it was too short for the dragged out sex scene in the beginning.
I absolutely LOVED the three way dynamic between these characters. And I loved the angsty pain between them for being homosexuals and for being a left out third wheel sorta say. But the first sex scene was confusing to read and way too long and I hated the despairing way the female lead felt about it. It made me feel sad for her. I’m sure that’s what the author wanted but since it was such a long encounter that could have been used to write more growth between the characters instead when you consider how short a story it is, I just didn’t like it much.
°Non virgin MCs °Friends to lovers °Multiple POVs °MCs with others after meeting/faithful after realizing that they were mates °Sexual history: °No cheating °Free of OW/OM drama °MCs faithful during separation °Heroine pushed the heroes away °Intimate scenes only between the MCs °HFN/Epilogue: 1 year later
"3.5 out of 5 stars! Willow, Devin, and Case are all lion shifters who’ve been best friends ever since they were little. However, now that they just finished their senior year of high school everything is changing around them. They’ve always been close but over the past year Devin and Chase have found that they’re mates with one another and even though Willow has feelings for them, which they reciprocate, they are all scared about messing up their relationships. Will fate change for the better for them all or will their chances be taking away from them all by their closed-minded shifter community?
This paranormal ménage romance surprised me with its unexpected twists while keeping my attention because of its sweet main characters. Even though it is a quick read...."
There isn't a Jenika Snow book I don't like. I always say I want more because her characters are so good. This is a coming of age book about 3 graduated seniors that grew up together and formed a tight bond of friendship. They live in a shifter community of Lions that hold very strict rules about mates. When Devon & Case don't fall into the guidelines they decide to keep their mating quiet. Their friend Willow is the 3rd piece of their puzzle but she feels she's not quite up to par with her friends. She has other struggles happening while she's trying to see where she fits in their lives. She knows right where she WANTS to fit in, but doesn't know if she ever will. I really liked this novella. This story was all consensual, safe sex with a hot, sexy HEA. Great read!
I loved Willow, Devon and Chase! Best friends since they were little! The three lion shifters have just graduated from high school. Devon and Chase discovered they were mates a year ago and have been hiding it from their friends and family because they wouldn't agree or accept it. Willow has been in love with her best friends forever. They love her too but don't want to ruin their friendship because she will leave when she finds her mate. even though they all want a triad relationship. In one night Willow's whole world falls apart. How will she ever get past all of the hurt and devastation and find her own happiness. It was a fantastic story full of emotion, hot sexy steamy (well you get the picture) and most of all a HEA! I received an ARC for my honest review.
So this was a sexy and even kind of a sweet read, but it was rather short. This could’ve been a lot more I think. Parts of it were a little melodramatic and I think the characters could have handled things and behaved a little bit better. The love scenes were hot, but on occasion a tad jumbled up. Keeping track of three bodies can make for some messy passages I suppose. What I really appreciated is that while yes there were love scenes and everything, there was plenty of story to go with it (relatively, given the length of the book).
All Bite, No Growl is a quickie with equal amounts of heart and heat. Don’t miss this MMF menage!
I thought this was a very cute short story. It seemed like it had the making of a first time novelist. There wasn't much background to really get emotionally involved in the characters but just enough to feel for the predicament they found themselves in. The loved the twist on the love triangle for once and added in the paranormal factor was a great touch. I would like to see more character development and a longer story line but it was good for the length it was.
I am an independent reviewer for Paranormal Romance and Authors That Rock. I suggest this book for audiences 18+ and give this book 3.5 Fangs.
I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. Willow has loved Devon and Case for as long as she can remember. These 3 have been together since they were little and are best of friends. High school is over and Devon and Case have found their mates, with each other. Willow is getting ready to go to college and start a new chapter in her life but does not want to loss her best friends. I loved this story!! Lion Shifters are so hot... I recommend this story to all shifter lovers. It is a wonderful read. Could not put it down. Looking forward to more of Jenika's shifter stories.
When the narrator of an erotica novel is into voyeurism, you know you are in for some steamy scenes--and Jenika Snow delivers. This trio has been grown up doing everything together, so when the mate instincts kick-in, it's only natural that they would all be mated to each other. We see the love that exists between Case and Devon, and between both guys and Willow. The storyline only covers a short period of time, but seeing them together, you know there will be a long HEA in their future, even if it means being disowned by their pack.
This book deals with Ménage MMF and lion shifters. The characters and the storyline are well developed. I found this book to be a very sweet love story. Their relationship is against the prides rules even if they are true mates. Their best friends family is falling apart. Will she be there for them when they need her? Will they be able to give her the love and support she needs? If they can get over the hurdles they must deal with will they have their happily ever after? This was an enjoyable read. Our Blog was given this book in exchange for an honest review.

This was a DNF...due to the age of the characters - recent high school graduates. I rarely read young adult...and never erotic YA. The description should have specified YA. This misunderstanding could have by clarified by replacing "drunken party" with "drunken HS graduation party" in the description.

This book proves that Fate knows what she is doing. Willow, Devon and Chase have been inseparable since they were kids. One day Devon and Chase realized they were mates but kept it from anyone because being gay in their Pride was not allowed. Willow finds out their secret and the three realize that they love each other more than just friends. It is only when the possibility of losing Willow that the boys go against their Pride and that fate reveals what they already knew.
A bit of a shifter story exploring a little confusion about a pair Of true mates extending into a three-way ménage, it's basically an excuse to write about some all-way threesome heat. While the story was light, the characters were appealing and the heat was very nice. 3.5 stars rounded to four just because mmf stories (as opposed to mfm) are not nearly as common as I would like.
The erotic scenes while good were not out of this world, and the actual plot behind the sex didn't really exist. For an erotic story, sure, but there was a lot of unnecessary elements, (eg. When they shift before the first sex scene and then shift back, the divorce of parents, etc etc) very quick read and its readable, just not great.
This was a pretty good story but there were a few things that bothered me. There were a few editing errors and the author used the wrong name of one of the MC's (Sam?). Why did the men use condoms with each other when they weren't susceptible to diseases?

Devon and Case are mates and this will cause it's own problems. And loving Willow is more confusion. It takes some adjusting and shifting things around but in the end everyone gets to live their best dream.
