I read all four of the (currently) last issues to ADS last night so will just review them all together, at the end of the first three I was like, wow I'm so glad I have the next one to read! And then at the end I didn't! But luckily Colleen has just put together a Patreon to finish the series with previews to those who sign up to support her! (Which of course I've done)
These last four issues were a total roller coaster. Everything that had been building for the previous 40 issues came to a head. Without giving away any spoilers I'd just like to say YAY for GALAHAD! Liana took control in 39 and the scenes with her and Jason were really touching. I loved how this wasn't just a god going crazy but a human girl coping with her awful life and turning to the one person she could trust. There was a victory of sorts but now it seems like things may be even worse. (Really hard to do this justice without spoilers!)
But this series is brilliant and beautiful and I would recommend it to everyone! Especially now it's finally nearing the end. It's been many years in the making but so worth the wait!
