Summer may be over but the Star Club is definitely not and now it's time to plan their next show! It’s never easy starting at a new school, but Meg already has friends there: Hannah, Ruby and Laura are fellow members of ‘Star Club’, a drama group where the girls perform plays and shows. Things don’t go as smoothly as Meg hopes, however, especially with new classmate Tracey coming between the friends. And Meg has a secret that could make fitting in even more difficult ... With a big Star Club performance coming up, can she work out who her real friends are, and can she follow her dreams? Whatever happens, the show must go on!

Book 2 of the Star Club series, but I started with it, getting to know it in Ireland. Now summer holidays are gone, and the school is starting. A new play is acted, it is Cinderella. It's Meg's story, who's a sweet girl and has a secret her three friends and Star Club members shouldn't get to know. Meg has to deal with family trouble and finding true friends at school. A lovely second installment! I'm exited to get to know more about these Dublin girls in Laura's and Ruby's stories!
Proper book review coming later. For now I'll say that I finished this for our chapter book last night and my daughter shouted "When's the next one coming out?! I'm too excited!"
