Summer may be over but the Star Club is definitely not and now it's time to plan their next show! It’s never easy starting at a new school, but Meg already has friends there: Hannah, Ruby and Laura are fellow members of ‘Star Club’, a drama group where the girls perform plays and shows. Things don’t go as smoothly as Meg hopes, however, especially with new classmate Tracey coming between the friends.
And Meg has a secret that could make fitting in even more difficult ...

Natasha Mac a’Bháird is a freelance writer and editor. She is the author of the bestselling wedding planning book, The Irish Bride’s Survival Guide, a new edition of which was published in 2011. Her first children’s book, Olanna’s Big Day, was published in 2009. Olanna’s Big Day was included in the White Ravens Collection 2010 and was shortlisted for the Reading Association of Ireland Award 2011.

Book 2 of the Star Club series, but I started with it, getting to know it in Ireland.
Now summer holidays are gone, and the school is starting.
A new play is acted, it is Cinderella.
It's Meg's story, who's a sweet girl and has a secret her three friends and Star Club members shouldn't get to know.
Meg has to deal with family trouble and finding true friends at school.
A lovely second installment! I'm exited to get to know more about these Dublin girls in Laura's and Ruby's stories!

Proper book review coming later. For now I'll say that I finished this for our chapter book last night and my daughter shouted "When's the next one coming out?! I'm too excited!"
