My son (4) was beyond enthralled with this! The jokes at the end were a huge hit. Cameo from Super-dog is surely going to make me seek out the others in the series. A decent-ish storyline. I’d give it 3.5 stars but my son loved it. It was a fun read together.

A super-pet story. Ace is Batman's crime-fighting canine, also known as Bat-Hound. A fun superhero story for young readers. Colorful artwork.

These origins of superhero's pets books are actually pretty good. Batman and Robin meet a mutt, and he joins them in stopping crime. Nice pictures and story.

For me, the Silver Age of Comics is the sweet spot. It was fun introducing my son to Ace and the other forgotten characters in this series. As usual the art was bright and interesting and the story was a lot of fun.
