I really, really like this beginning vegan cookbook. The title definitely describes this book. I hate picking up a beginners book, especially a beginners cookbook with ingredients you can’t pronounce or find at a local store. Every ingredient is found in a local grocery and can be made in a home kitchen. Nothing fancy. Some of the recipes are not items I am use to cooking but as I have been trying them, they taste great. I never had chickpeas like they made them, but they were so good. As food prices go up, I am experimenting with the vegan lifestyle. This book and the recipes are going to be used by me for a while. I highly recommend this book if you are looking for a few easy vegan recipes.
