Finally! An acid reflux book that doesn't break all the rules! The author seems to actually know what it is like to have the condition. The recipes don't include forbidden things like garlic, onions etc. as many other recipe books supposedly for acid reflux do.
Loving the sauce, dressing and stock recipes the most so far! So great to have ideas for flavourings since I can't buy any pre-made ones at the store. My only minor complaint: not enough pictures.

Yummy Recipes
I'm a very picky eater, but I would/will be willing to try most of the recipes in this cookbook.
I also like that each recipe shows if it's conducive to certain diets and lifestyles (ie...diabetes, paleo, vegan, vegetarian, and gluten free). There are even snacks and desserts.

*The Easy Acid Reflux Cookbook* is a wonderfully practical cookbook for anyone looking for simple, comforting meal ideas while following a reflux-friendly eating plan. What stood out to me most was the emphasis on 30-minute recipes, making it much easier to prepare wholesome meals even on busy days.
The recipes feel approachable and realistic, without requiring complicated techniques or spending hours in the kitchen. I also appreciated that the book focuses on making food enjoyable rather than making a reflux-conscious diet feel overly restrictive.
The guidance is especially useful for people dealing with GERD or LPR who may be unsure about what meals to prepare. Having a collection of straightforward recipes in one place takes away much of the guesswork and makes planning meals feel less stressful.
I loved the comforting approach to the recipes. Healthy eating doesn't have to mean giving up satisfying food, and this cookbook does a great job of offering ideas that feel both practical and enjoyable.
Overall, this is an accessible, convenient, and useful resource for anyone wanting to explore reflux-friendly cooking. Five stars for its simplicity, variety, and genuinely helpful approach to everyday meals!

This cookbook by Karen Frazier has been a game-changer for me. With the constraints of an acid reflux diet, Karen's approach brings new hope to every meal. Her book carefully navigates managing acid reflux through diet, providing just the right amount of information without overwhelming or intimidating you. It clearly outlines the different levels of foods to avoid and what's safe to eat, making meal planning a breeze.
The recipes are not only easy to prepare but also incredibly delicious. Karen also delves into food etiquette for acid reflux sufferers, leaving no stone unturned. If you've been struggling to manage your menus with this issue, this cookbook is an absolute must-have.

This will be my go to cookbook!
I have made several of the recipes and they are great tasting and very easy. Her book has information and charts on the best types of foods to eat or not eat for Gerd & LPR.

Book offered a lot of good information, resources and recipes. I especially appreciated the FDA pH list of foods and the charts of those foods to avoid, eat in small amounts, and those we enjoy without limits. Overall, a very helpful guide/cookbook.

I forgot to record when I finished this book. It was awhile ago...anyhow it was somewhat helpful and informative. I didn't take too many recipes from it but overall a useful tool to have at hand.
