as a lover of Alice Birch I enjoyed the fact this had a similar context-less intentional ambiguity. it had me constantly questioning what was truly said and what was meant by these characters words.
A and B are both nothing alike and everything alike - SO much mirroring and echoes of previous scenes. such a brilliant exploration into how we connect and can say so much in relationships without speaking. also questions what it means to ‘know’ someone - can u ever fully know someone??
had a slight existential spiral whilst reading this - would love to see it performed !!!!

such an interesting exploration of relationships and communication - all of the characters are obsessed with speaking and silence and what words are or aren't said, and tucker green really plays with language and explores different silences in such nuanced ways.

I loved it! Read it for a seminar, to be perfectly honest. But I am now considering writing my Master's Thesis on it (and a couple more plays). Wonderful exploration of intimate relationships. It made me think about the intimate relationships I have experienced and observed all around me.

Some STELLAR lines. Generally speaking though the dialogue is too performative to be enjoyed on the page :)
