A beautiful fable plucked from the wonderful mind of Eliane Wilson about seven doves seeking the revered Dove of Peace. During their travels they learn about the peace they covet, not conscious that they are themselves Doves of Peace. Wonderfully written, beautifully illustrated.

This is told in the style of a fable and I found the use of language annoying. This would probably not have been the case if I had read it aloud.

It is a story about hope and love, and one with the ultimate messages of acceptance and world peace. It is steeped in religious images (from various traditions) and I found it rather lack-lustre, rather than beautiful and inspiring, which I assume is the aim

A lovely fantasy of finding peace in a world of strife. A little disjointed at times.
