Will Nova's karma catch up to her or will she continue to murder anyone that gets in her way?
Find out in this finale of Ashes to Ashes Dust to Side Chicks 3.
Nothing but drama & I loved it the more I read the more I was on the edge of my seat lol this is a must read the series was wonderful I couldn't believe some of the things that went on like learning how to love again it's so much more to read
I started the first book by accident and got wrapped up in the story. By book three, it seems like the author just wants the book to be over with. She tied up loose ends by making new foes appear from a random moment in the past. Other than Nova's mother being a side chick, there is really no depth into why she hates side chicks so much that she's willing to kill them. She's heartless and out for self and over time, it's not explained. There's no deep backstory that lets us know why she's so damn mad. Shit sprinkle in a mental illness to explain it. At least it would make more sense.
The typos and inconsistencies killed me though. Words missing, or added in places they shouldn't be, characters who's names were one thing then switched to another two paragraphs later. Someone proof read this please! Simple corrections could have gone a long way.
so I give it a 2. Because the end felt like the author was like "aight fuck it. I'm done with these characters"
I was very disappointed how this book turned out. Quan was actually the only person I liked in the book. Nova was a mess and got her karma. I don't think the book should have ended on a happy note for aoki. She was an ugly person and didn't suffer enough. I don't think Skye should have got the ending she got. I wanted her and quan to be together. Denika hooking up with tyriq threw me Dr a loop. The dude phonte was a bitch I didn't like him or aoki brother. I didn't like how he just popped up in the book causing all the trouble he did. Not happy at all.
The story was great. A bunch of different scenarios all in one book. But again, like the last one. A lot of misspellings. Words missing and grammatical errors left and right. The storyline had alot of drama, and twists and turns which I love. My jaw hit the ground quite a few times I wasnt expecting something to happen. Just couldn't get passed all the errors.
The typos in this book..... I didn't like the ending! The main character of the book gets done over by a character mentioned only a few times doesn't seem right to me!
Well this was so crazy! I am so glad Nova got what she deserved because mentally she went crazy. When lost his life in the end and Denika (Quan's wife) end up being Skye's sister how crazy is that. Everybody was cheating, killing and trying to get over in some kind of way: The love of money is the root of all evil cause sex and money caused everyone's downfall. The only ppl left in the end was Phonte, Miyagi, Aoki, Denika and Skye. This was a crazy read but it was real good. Tyrik and Denika ended up dating
Nova finally got what she deserved. She was so focused on building the perfect marriage and life to everyone except the two people that mattered, her and Tyriq. Now don’t get me wrong Tyriq did step out on her but he learned his lesson and his love for her was real.
Skye irritated my soul...she was naive, needy and a bum! Leaching off Nova and Quan throughout the whole series!! I didn’t want a happy ending for her, she didn’t deserve it.
Aoki, the side chick. I was glad to see that she got herself together and wanted more than to hurt men by cheating. Her and Phonte getting together was inevitable. I just didn’t like his superior attitude! Like he was better than everyone and always judging!
Quan/Meech I wanted to like. But I didn’t like how he moved. Didn’t think his story should have ended like that but karma is a bitch!! He was ruthless and served his own agenda no matter who he crossed. Deniqa and Tyriq getting together - just no!! Too much had happened in this small circle.
Good series and I will definitely be reading more from N’Dia Rae
Wow. I literally read all three of the books in this series in one night. As soon as I finished the first one, I needed the second one, and as soon as I read the second one, I had to purchase the third. None of the books disappointed. These two authors are surely a “Dynamic Duo”. I would DEFINITELY read another book or series by them. The story was crafted so perfectly, with each character being multidimensional, a perfect combination between clear fiction and reality… I could go on and on, but for anyone looking for a well written story, which is unfortunately rare in many subgenres these days, GO FOR THESE BOOKS. I look forward to any further collaborations or individual works by these authors.
When they decided to write this third book I don’t think they re read the second book first. The characters were different especially phonte he hated aoki for sleeping with his father and ripping his family apart but in the third book it’s like it never happened and his mom and dad are still together and now he’s a thug he was a sucka that was in love with Skye and it never was mentioned he sold drugs. Also in book 2 Quan knew miyagi was home so when he started to get robbed why he didn’t automatically think it was him. The book had nothing to do with the title. I am glad that skye sister got what she deserved tho. But it’s like the cheaters and side chicks had a happy ending and the wives except for Quan wife got fucked in the end.
Great finish. I especially loved the fact that the women realized being side chicks was degrading and they were more fierce standing as sisters. I hated that the one character was killed (no spoiler!) but live hard, die hard. My only negative is that it took too long for the sequel to release - I had read part 2 six months earlier. So it took a minute to decide to get this and some misgiving after starting it that I had forgotten so much. Eventually it all came together.
I think the editor could have done a better job at editing this book, she use the word spat tooo many time but over all it was a good book I was sad that meech died and he can’t be with sky and I thought sky would have been pregnant too but I feel like it could be a fourth book. They could think that meech is dead but really isn’t dead it so much they could do with another book.
I have to give N'Dia Rae a round of applause for this series, honey you did your thing with this one. This whole series had me going through every emotion, all the drama, love, fakeness, etc. Wow!! I look forward to reading more books by you and I can't wait to finish my novel. Good luck on future works.
I loved every minute of this book every twist and turn. I read all 3 books not wanting to stop. I usually am good at guessing what will happen but not with this book. My goodness it was so many surprises. It ended well. Wow thank you for your gift of writing. A true fan.
I’m so glad on how things ended. Nova evil ways caught up to her. Quan’s grimy days did as well. I’m so glad things turned out well for sky and Aoki , Phonte , and her brother. I’m happy for Tariq and Denika as well. I’m glad Tariq realized that cheating in a marriage was not the answer and he was apart of Nova losing her damn mind.
Love, love and more love. Damn, I hated that this book ended. It was absolutely breathtaking from beginning to end. This series was the "truth". Hale to the creative mind of the writer......
If not for the exorbitant editing issues throughout the book, this would've been a 5 star read. It was a good and not necessarily unpredictable ending. I wasn't even sure whose relationships I was rooting for after a while either.
If I could give this book anything less than a 1 star. I would. Quan did not deserve that. Aoki was a cold hearted person and she gets a happy ending. Then Tyric & denika ?? Like you really messed this book all the way. Beyond disappointed. Would not recommend
The first Ashes to Ashes, etc., was a good read. It caused me to immediately search to download II. It was then that I discovered a III. Great! These books have been the most intriguing read I've experienced in quite a while.
What a good read! I couldn't wait to go to the next page. The characters were fired up and interesting. I hated it to end. Wish there was additional chapters.
Good from start to finish. I had trouble putting it down once I started. If you like a good urban romance novels then this trilogy is the right one for you.
Wow... Nova finally got caught, that was touch and go for a minute.. It goes to show being a side chic to the wrong man can get you seriously hurt.. great series...
