Sanata Felsefeyle Bakmak

Rate this book

When you look at a work of art, what is your first evaluation?

My guess is that you first understand what is being said and then classify that work of art by attributing a certain status and value in line with the message it conveys. because a work with a message content should always be a work that has meaning at a certain point. At this point, Ioanna Kuçuradi brings a philosophical interpretation to art and opens the ethical, moral and value facts of the person for discussion through the value and status attributed to the work of art. it has become quite readable, especially with beautiful quotes, that it is possible to finish the book without ever closing it.

If I were to state my own interpretation, the first question should have been; Does existence have a meaning?

Because with the "tragic" phenomenon that is discussed in the book, our author deals with the tragic point experienced by the person who makes ethical, moral and value judgments at the point of evaluation of the work of art. In my opinion, the main point of discussion for a person who is torn between valuing or not giving/not giving value was actually his existence. For the person who could not find an answer to the question of "why?" about his existence, the tragedy he experienced in evaluating a work of art was actually his own problem of existence. The answer to the question that needed to be asked was exactly the tragic one created by the dilemma at this point.

Did existence have any meaning?

If we go back to the book, the fact that it handled the tragic for art and human beings, especially through Nietzsche, was the right fit. Although the tongue is a bit heavy, it is impossible to get enough of its taste.

İnsan, kendiyle kendisi olmayan şeyler arasında sınır çizerek, kendisinin olanı başkalarınınkinden ayırmakla, kendi kendine sınır koymakla kendini bilebilir, kendi kendisi olabilir. Bu sınır, insanın kendi kendi olması, aşırılıklardan sakınması, orta yol, hepsi apolloniğin kendisidir…
Bilgelik doğaya karşı bir suçtur…
Yaşam bize gösteriyor ki, sevgi insanların birbirinin yüzüne bakmaları değil, birlikte aynı yöne bakmalarıdır…
İnsanla insan arasındaki uçurum esneyip durmaktadır. Onu aşmanın, tek yolu, içine atlamaktır…
Sevgi nedir? Hiçbir şeyi unutmayan bir heyecan mı, yoksa paylaşma heyecanı mı?..
