Praise for Flying

Tracy makes the world come alive and by the time you get to the end of the story you’re sitting on the edge.

An exciting glimpse of what's to come by this author in the SciFi genre.

True SciFi is a magnificent world to enter and this is just the beginning of what I know will be a great series.

Hits all the things that I love about Sci-fi.

So much story!! So much promise!! This will keep my inner nerd happy.

Keeping close tabs on this new Sci-fi series.

I am a big fan of Tracy Cooper-Posey’s because I thoroughly enjoy the intrigue she generates with her fictional-but-believable worlds and unpredictable plots

This little window into the world of SciFi did not disappoint me, in fact, I think I'm addicted!!

I loved Cooper-Posey's science fiction series The Endurance, about a closed-system generation ship hundreds of light-years from its destination. I can't say enough about how much I enjoy her style of writing, her world-building, her characterization.

So, when I found this next series, more SF and less romance, and now published under a pseudonym, I've been dying to start it. No time like the present, eh?

"Flying Blind" is a sneak peak into the series. We learn that there's an unofficial war, let's call it a hostile rivalry, between two superpowers in the universe, and the freeships who offer passage across the stars are often pawns in the game. It's an intriguing world so far.

Great short story! It is a fascinating glimpse into a new universe with (of course) warring nations and a small family free ship caught in the middle. This little tale shouts family affection while keeping you on the edge of your seat with tension. LOVE Tatiana and Tribunal Lieutenant Scordini de Deluca! I want more.

Flying Blind, a prequel of sorts, sets the stage for the next (first?) book in the Indigo Reports series. It's officially listed as book 0.5. It's short but it caught my interest quickly. I can already tell I'm going to like Sang. S/he, it/hey is a fascinating android character who thinks of it's self (themselves?) as plural but, in this story at least, is passing as female. There is a wonderful complexity to all of the characters. I can't wait for the rest of the story to play out.

I voluntarily reviewed an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

An Outstanding read! This book lays the ground work for the rest of the series! Erium and Karassia are squaring off for a final showdown that will destroy the Free States! Captain Tatiana is trying to smuggle a spy out when she is stopped by the Eriumans! It should have been the end but the hint of a missing sister and a token signifying a debit owed is perhaps a worse fate? This Novelette Packs so much tension into that bridge scene I caught myself holding my breath!

This book does a great job setting the stage for her new Sci-Fi Series indigo Reports. While the book is veryshort, it does a great job of setting the stage. The characters are interesting and the background is just enough so you aren't going 'huh?' Of course, the story does leave you hanging with a bit of mystery. Now on to Book One New Star Rising

Very engaging short story that absorbs you right into the world and the action. Non-binary pronouns were a new thing in a book for me. Very interesting interplay of life forms, androids. A bit too heavy on the suggested violence against females for me to continue with the series but that's my sensitivity. I think the quality of the writing would make any book by Cooper a good bet

What a great prequel. Although short, I thought it did a great job at introducing the series. Just enough to make me sad when it ended and want to read book 1 and see what happens next. I liked the introduction to the main character species. And I loved Tatiana.

Marisol and Tatiana got my full attention and they intrigued my interest in them. Investigation mind wants the truth. I believe they are enemies of some sort. Reading about them makes me want to know more. I will be buying and adding all Tatiana's books to my book collection of favorites. Iler.

An exciting glimpse of what's to come by this author in the SciFi genre. We have a strong, intelligent leader who thinks quickly on her feet to save not only her ship but family as well. Her ship is stopped and boarded by a race that is slowly taking over planets. Unbeknownst to the captain the space they're in is no longer neutral and they've boarded her ship in search for what she does not know. Grab this first book in the author's Indigo Reports series to learn what happens; will they be destroyed as this race tends to do to all they perceive as breakers of their laws. True SciFi is a magnificent world to enter and this is just the beginning of what I know will be a great series. Bring it on Tracy Cooper Posey, I want to travse all the exciting worlds you'll be taking us too.

I was given a special newsletter free read of this science-fiction short-story.
It introduces a new series set in space with a set of concepts, conflicts, weaponry, races and characters that leave the reader curious to know more and to understand the defining characteristics of both Eriuman and Karassians. Personally, I wished to understand more about the reasons behind the conflict, how can one remain without citizenship in that universe and other such rules.

Pure Sci-fi Brilliance!!!!

Short and sweet, we get to witness a tension-filled altercation between a family freeship and the powerful Eriumans. Mostly a battle of wits, we quickly learn how each team operates, and one is left owing the other a favor.

Totally engrossing, and I’m ready for more Ms. Cooper-Posey!!!!

I loved it!! This novel grabbed my interest by totally immersing me in a new world from first to last sentence & I want MORE!
I was captivated from the start by the spaceship world and the actions of these new characters creating a NEED to know more! Thank goodness this is the prequel to a new series!! Yay!
I am a big fan of Tracy Cooper-Posey’s because I thoroughly enjoy the intrigue she generates with her fictional-but-believable worlds and unpredictable plots, so I am delighted to report that this novel is a great example of both! I'm used to only reading romance novels (and especially anything by Cooper-Posey) but this little window into the world of SciFi did not disappoint me, in fact, I think I'm addicted!!

**** SPOILER ALERT ****
This is my first exposure to Cooper's work.
I like it, I like it a lot! I look forward to getting to know her work better.
This is a nice piece that packs a LOT of world building in a very short amount of time.
Let's face it, as a long time reader, diving into a new, to me, author's works can be a bit daunting. You don't know what to expect.
I immediately felt welcome and at ease in Cooper's "universe".
I highly recommend "Flying Blind".
In the interest of transparency: I was given a free review copy of the book and I am sharing this review voluntarily. It is my own honest opinion.

A short story well-written. There is enough description, action, and dialogue to provide enough of the flavor of the MC, her adversary, the politics, and her immediate surroundings of a family ship in space, to whet my interest in reading the first full length novel in the series.
