This is a Clean Romance, and this is the 5th book in the Alaskan Grooms series. I really fell in love with the characters in this book, and this little Alaskan town in this book. This story took me a little while to get into, but I am so glad I kept reading this book. I loved the ending so much because it was so cute and sweet.

His Secret Alaskan Heiress: Alaskan Grooms is a new novel by Belle Calhoun. It is the start of a new series which if this one is any indication, will be a tremendous success.
Love, Alaska was known for its Operation Love. This was a movement to bring brides into this Alaskan town and marry them off to the men who live here. So far, it is working. However, not every young woman who has come to Love is looking for marriage. Sophie has come to Love to avoid marriage. She was engaged but found he wasn’t marrying her for the right reasons. When she brought this to her Father’s attention, he sided with John and tried to force her to marry him. Instead, she ran, leaving her ex-fiance and her Father behind along with her inheritance. Only one person in Love knows she is an heiress.
Noah Catalano had taken a job as cook at Moose Café. He was the owner of a private investigation company in Seattle which was having problems. He had taken a job from John Sussex to find his fiancé. When he did, Noah was to keep tabs on her and let his client know. Normally he would have turned a job like this down; but his company was floundering and the money of this case would make it possible.
Can Noah finish the job or will his conscience not let him? Will the “love” atmosphere of this trip cause him problems?
The book is excellent and as all of Belle’s books, it is magnificently written. The characters are very realistic and seem to join you in your room while the story marches on. You can see and feel what the characters are feeling.

I love this series and get such a kick out of meeting up with the quirky townsfolk of Love, Alaska every time I visit. And it's fun to catch up with previous heroes and heroines too. This is the fifth book in the Alaskan Grooms series but reads like a standalone. The only carryover comes in the form of Grandpa Jasper's tumultuous romance which has been brewing over the course of the series. But it's easy to pick up on all the Jasper/Hazel nuances even if you haven't read the first four books.

Sophie and Noah both harbor really big secrets and that had me squirming the deeper I got into the book. I mean, Noah is literally spying on her while he's falling in love! Does it get any more angsty then that? I kept telling him to just come clean -- that the money wasn't worth it but did he listen to me? Even when he began to suspect something fishy was going on? No he did not. He completely and totally ignored me. Humph!

Sophie has her reasons for keeping mum about her past, but it's high time she comes clean and trusts her friends in Love -- and herself -- with a future of her own making. And if that should include Noah all the better (even if he is a lying cad!) Well, not really -- he's conflicted and has a hard time coming to grips with what he's doing. But when he finally clues into the why it's almost too late! Love those crackling undercurrents -- even if my tummy was in knots the whole read.

A romantical blend of angst, humour and faith.

I've been waiting for Sophie's story and this book didn't disappoint! I've really enjoyed all the other books in this series but I couldn't wait for Sophie's story. She had a secret and I couldn't wait to find out more about it! She moved to Love, Alaska to be away from her controlling father and her ex-fiancé who were planning out her life for her. Her father was extremely wealthy and Sophie was an heiress but she didn't care about that. She wanted to be cared about for who she was, without people knowing about her wealth. A small town in Alaska is just the ticket! People genuinely care about Sophie and she makes so many friends there, especially while working at the Moose Café. Then a newcomer comes and takes a job at the café named Noah. She doesn't know that Noah is actually working for her ex-fiancé (spying actually!) to report her every move. Noah starts to realize that his client hasn't told him everything and soon, he's not enjoying his assignment anymore but he IS falling in love with Sophie. Well, you can imagine how that's turning out! I love stories that have secrets and when BOTH the main characters have secrets, it's great!! I love visiting Love, Alaska and this time around, it was so much fun! So many previous characters showed up to make the story even sweeter! I recommend this book very highly!

I love this book from the moment I open it, the characters are vivid and fun (Love Hazel, Jasper etc.)

Our main character, Sophie, was definitely a sweet yet strong determined young woman, who tried desperately to start a new live although she experienced betrayal from her ex-finance, John Sussex. She was surrounding with such a strong community and Love. I felt the pain and challenges for Noah as he began to fall in Love with Sophie...

(I am ready to move my family to Love, Alaska...except I don't like the cold)...excellent literature Ms. Calhoune....

Highly recommended!!!

I am really enjoying this series from Belle Calhoune. These characters are just so cute and fun and the way she describes the town makes you feel as if you are there and you know these characters.
Sophie and Noah are two people that prove that secrets can interfere with your life and potential happiness. I don't want to tell anymore for fear that I will give away too much.
I also like that she brings characters from the previous books in this series in this one too. I don't want to tell anymore for fear that I will give away too much.
I enjoyed this book and look forward to more from this series.
Be blessed :)

Another super adorable story in one of my favorite Love Inspired mini-series. I have been waiting for Sophie's story and it was well worth it! This was a fun read. I really liked Noah and it was awesome to finally see Jasper and Hazel tie the knot. The end of the book was really sweet. Can't wait for the next adventure in Love, Alaska!

Sophie Mattson moves to Love, Alaska to escape marriage to John Sussex her dad’s chief assistant at the coffee company her dad owns. She gave up her credit cards, penthouse apartment, and money to get away from her now ex-fiancé.
She grew up as an only child of divorced parents.
Noah Catalano is a private investigator hired by Sophie’s ex-fiancé. He is sent to spy on her and report back to John Sussex. The money he makes from this job will help him save his company, Catalano Security and pay his employees.

Noah takes a job as a cook at the restaurant, Moose Café, where Sophie works in Love, Alaska.
Sophie is not turning out to be the person her ex-fiancé has portrayed her to be.
On the contrary, she is way nicer. There is a program going on called, “Operation Love” which is a matchmaking program for bachelors from Love, Alaska with women from all over the USA. This program is what enticed Sophie to this small Alaskan town. A lot of love connections have been made, since the town’s mayor, Jasper Prescott started the program.

Both Noah and Sophie are deceivers. The townspeople do not know that Sophie is actually secret heiress escaping her ex-fiance and nobody knows that Noah is actually a private investigator.
That is where each of their battles begins. The lies they have told people are bothering both of them tremendously since they are becoming quite close to the people of Love, Alaska and each other.
What happens to Noah and Sophie when they find out the truth about each other? Do their friends forgive them? Does Sophie find a true love connection to spend the rest of her life with? There are a few quirky and fun characters in this close-knit community that all begins with a love connection.

Get this “Love Inspired” book and find out!
I received an advance copy from the author, Belle Calhoune.
This is my honest opinion.

Sophie and Noah are both under false pretenses in Love, Alaska. She went there to escape from a high profile life and just be her. He is there to spy on Sophie and report his findings back to her ex-fiancé. They end up working at the Moose Café together and fate steps in!
I truly loved Sophie’s positive attitude and outlook on life. She is a breath of fresh air! It isn’t long before Noah sees that too and begins to realize that she isn’t the wicked person her ex made her out to be. Will their relationship be able to withstand the truth when it is revealed? Will the townspeople of Love forgive them for deceiving them? You’ll just have to read this wonderful book to find out! I definitely recommend it to anyone who loves clean romances.
I received an advanced reader copy of this book from the author, but that in no way influenced my review.

His Secret Alaskan Heiress by Belle Calhoune a Alaskan Grooms series. Sophie Mattson's father is very very rich. He wants her to marry a family friend. Sophie doesn't have feelings for the man. The man has lied and only want to marry Sophie for her money she will inherit. Sophie's father believed the man loved Sophie and wanted the marriage to happen. Sophie takes off to a small town called Love, Alaska. She has been working as a waitress for over a year and has fallen in love with the town and it's people. The ex-boyfriend hires Noah Catalano to spy on Sophie in Love, Alaska. Noah is a P.I. Noah ends up falling for Sophie but has a hard time telling Sophie who she really is and Sophie has her own little secret of who she really is. A romance book with a few twist and turns.

This is another fun, easy read in this series, with some great life lessons. Like being comfortable in one’s own skin, with who you are; learning to forgive, even as we are forgiven; realizing that everyone has hardships & isn’t “immune from pain”, but we can’t blame God for them, and should chose to trust that God will use them for our own good. I loved this line: “The good thing about making memories is that we never lose them…” It is fun to get to know all these characters in Love, Alaska! This is a fun book for anyone to read and enjoy! I received this from the author and wanted to leave my own honest review.

In “His Secret Alaskan Heiress” by Belle Calhoune, Sophie Mattson has moved to Love, Alaska to start her life over, but when Noah Catalano enters the picture, can they make a relationship last or will their secrets come between them?

Not only does this book have a great storyline, but you will fall in love with the people and town of Love, Alaska. I know I did! I really enjoyed reading this book and highly recommend you read it too.

I received a copy of this book in exchange for my honest review.

I like these loved inspired books but this one I just couldn't like. My number 1 issue is her need to tell us over and over he was doing this for his company and employees(i believe 10+ times). Never says how many employees or whats going on to make you feel anything for his company and employees. I couldn't help thinking what are all these other employees doing if this one job is going to keep his whole company in the black. Sounds like in the end he is still going to be in the same boat. To me he should just give that up and take on cooking as at least that you feel he does good at.

This book is full of a community that loves each other without fail. They care about each other like they are family. It is a very tight nit close group. They believe in forgiveness and as well as making sure everyone around finds the love of a lifetime.

Sophie and Noah both kept pretty major secrets and both felt betrayed by each other. The love that developed between them was enough to over come this issue though.

This was such a sweet and endearing read about the Alaskan grooms.

Small town secrets never stay that way forever. Sophie and Noah romance in Love, Alaska happened but their the past and present had a way to turn their world upside down. Themes of forgiveness and realizing how important it was to have true transparency, as true friends still accepted and understand reasons why secrets were kept in the beginning. Nothing is impossible with faith and letting God lead.

The latest story in the Alaskan Grooms series is great. I liked Sophie from the the first book she was in when she came to Love, Alaska because of the Operation Love program. I'm glad she got her own story. The story deals with the white lies people tell when they re-invent themselves and the betrayal felt when those lies are revealed.

Secrets, Lies and ❤️

I love this story of Sophie and Noah. This story speaks on secrets, betrayal and lies but through it all, love conquers. I love how the townspeople did not judge but looked beyond the issue and see that people make mistakes and deserve forgiveness and a second chance. Reading this book makes me wish Love, Alaska was real😊.

I liked Sophie first time I met her a few books ago. Always cheerful and with a child like optimism about life. Of course there were a few subtle hints she was hiding from someone or had run away from someone. Although I had to roll my eyes at the end of the story with Daddy's big entrance in a helicopter, I'm pleased Sophie and Noah found each other and that Sophie can finally be herself without looking over her shoulder.
