Another great Sassy book from one of my all time fav authors! I just can't get enough of these stories. MacKenna Quinn the feisty Irish lass is back in Blue Creek and working at the local school as a counselor. Old feelings get stirred up when she attends the wedding of Jewel & Ethan (from the first book Sassy Master). The once love of her life Liam Lowe (Ethan's bro) is the best man, so there is no avoiding seeing him. The sexy cat shifter broke her heart years ago in Ireland and she vowed she would not get involved with hi again....well, we all know how that goes. It was fun seeing all the other characters from the Sassy Mates series by author Milly Taiden.
I both loved and hated this story. I love the characters and wanted so much more. Watching Mac & Liam reunite was fun and sexy as hell. They fit in well to the Sassy Ever After world but I would have loved them to have their own book. I want to see Mac & Liam take on her uncle. I want to see what kind of wolf Zachary grows up to be. I guess it just goes to show great writing when you want to crawl into the book and live there for a while.
I love this series that Molly Taiden started and now it's really taken off with so many great authors.
Love lost, love found is the premise of this book. Marianne Morea has a wonderful writing style. The story flows so easily from the beginning to end. It leaves the reader wanting more. The characters are well written and the author lays the foundation right away for history of the two main characters. The stories surrounding the Wolfe's and their family also includes others not in the pack. Mrs. Wolfe is a matchmaker or so she thinks and her success rate holds true. Another couple finding love but there is suspense and turmoil from outside sources. Get this book and the many others in the series. Highly recommended both the story and author.
Unfinished business. Don't you hate it when something is left undone, needs to be finished, but takes FOREVER to get to the point where it can be? I really do. This story is all about the undone. Liam and Mac both know that something is not finished between them, but neither is wanting to admit it. It takes a whole lot of people to get these two back to where they need to be, and when they do it is so hot the pages burn with their intensity.
This second book is a quick read but easily able to get lost in. Mac comes to Blue River to fill a job at a school. She knows her old flame Liam is from that area but she figures he's long gone from the area. Mac is wrong because Liam is the alpha cat . Can they move beyond the past and solve problems of today? I highly recommend this book.
What an amazing addition to the series. I love that we got to return to the Sassy Ever After world with this author and see more of her characters. The characters continue to develop and they just seem to fit perfectly in the storyline. I really enjoyed that Mac stood up for what she believed in, but she did it in such a way to not cross over the line. The author put so many little surprises in this book and I hope we get to see more in her next book.
In a new place, with a new job, Mac thinks she's getting a new start. Little does she know her past is about to come full circle. The love of his life has moved to his hometown and Liam isn't about to let her get away again. Fate puts them right where they need to be, together.
Liam and Mackenna are destined to be mates even after years apart their souls and animals call to each other. .. Misunderstandings and a vindictive evil Irish uncle have kept them apart long enough now it's their time to be together like they should have alwsys been... This was a quick, funny and sexy as hell....
