Very good beginning of the series! Felt a tiny bit rushed for a bit, but picked up and the flow was perfect again after a few pages. I love H.O. Knight's descriptions of characters and their feelings and experiences, she swiftly pulls you into the story, and it is difficult to put the book down! It's a book for teens and YA, but I enjoyed it very much and would recommend it to all ages.

Book One in the series, it introduces us to Em and her friends. Following the Yellowstone Super Volcano eruption, life is no longer as the world had been. Gone was approximately 1/2 of the US buried in ash. This book is a very good what if book. Highly recommend. I’m reading the whole series!!!
