I like this historical psychological connection to the AA movement. I was also surprised that Jung by far my favorite psychology schoolar and scientist had such an undirect influence in the founding of the AA movement. A real butterfly effect on history ore a spiritual interventions.

一如派克医生自己所言,他是个“传递福音的人”。
虽然《少有人走的路》系列书籍沿引同一主题与观点脉络,似乎万变不离其宗,然而每一本续作,其关注侧重都略有不同,因而也依然具有独特吸引力,依然能让人从作者反复强调与不厌其烦的阐发中获得新的丰富与力量。
有关一个人的秉性与天赋,我们常说的一句,是“三岁看八十”。
怎么看?看的自然是一种趋势与基底逻辑。
个体的心灵成长,遗传与环境影响固然不可忽视,然而还有一个较为神秘的因素,那便是“悟性”。在这一点上,那份“生而不平等”是可以观察得到的。从派克医生从医实践的无奈案例中,我们也能一再体会“不可与夏虫语冰”的真实处境。
书中说, “没有几个心理医生,会心平气和地面对比他们更诚实的病人。”(第八章 上瘾:神圣的疾病)
“心理健康的特征,应该是具备尽早面对危机的能力。”(同上)
“不含价值判断的心理治疗根本不存在。”(第十一章 物质与精神)
类似观点都让人无条件认同。
一个人唯有对发生在内心或外界的纷繁事务一一作出判断,才有可能在不断积累的生活经验中,对判断作出强化验证、细节填充,又或者适时作出相应调整。
派克医生所做的事情,包括对于上帝与宗教的思考,于人类心灵健康而言,无疑都是极有助益的。或许,基于存在广泛病态与危机的人类心灵健康现状,确实需要一些矫枉过正的猛药与手法。只不过,本书某些段落采用的“打鸡血”腔调,仍让人稍稍有些感觉不适。
